I live just outside of Roanoke and never knew they had a pinball museum. I recognize a lot of the places in this video as I ride them just about everyday. You camped behind the old Green Hill Sausage plant in Elliston.

I got the biggest laugh when I found this - I've lived in Blacksburg 22 years and was raised in Martinsville and recognized just about every place you traveled! I recognized where you camped and thought of a bunch of other places but then it's easier when you know the area, which was not quite what you were shooting for. Fun video!

I've never good at pinball but i've always enjoyed them and found them internesting. I'm sure all those old places like that seemed to have something going on to help keep business afloat back in the day. Hate it's not really open anymore as i'm sure those walls sure could tell some stories.

I was one of those nuts that would drive to the Italian restaurant in the hills. I lived in Salem at the time. We would use that road to get to VA Tech football games. I've since moved to Richmond but for a change of pace took that road once again after a Hokie game!

We just moved back home to Austintown Ohio 3 years ago after living in the Roanoke area for 20 yrs. Used to love the blue ridge parkway. I was in upper management with Eagle Truck Wash chain. That roundabout you where in is right out front of where the Troutville location used to be. There uses to be a Ta truckstop there to but the city forced them out. Anyway I enjoy the vids.

From mass. Went on a road trip to Saint Louis then soloed to Ocala & back up to bean town,
To save money i would hit a truck stop, go to the drivers lounge sit in the corner with ear plugs tip my hat and get some shut eye. The rest is history.
