Yoo, what was that giant swarmer haha. And! It really gets the blood pumping when you have to dig away from an advancing swarm. Damn there are a lot of stationaries on these missions. Two bulks at once is wild! You dig so clean with the drills! that's a good skill for sure What bugs are tunneling so much?? Oh man, I saw that whole cave wall turn into googly eyes. That was terrifying The spreaders are a nightmare in this scenario Nice snipe on the stalker. Well at least two of you made it. Well done! That concludes my impromptou live commentary.
I'm glad you enjoyed it. I've really enjoyed playing this difficulty, the pacing and challenge is right on the edge of doable. Usually it's the sentinels (hiveguard) or oppressors that will dig out stuff
Technically speaking, three of the four dwarves made it. Or would the dwarf sandwiched between the drop pod doors count as half a dwarf? Quickly, order a pint of smart stout. This question must be answered.
Nope the only comms we used here was the in-game chat and pinging stuff. Everyone has a good understanding of their roles and faith in the other players to do theirs, it's great fun
Hey I was wondering what was your graphics card? I’m a beginner when it comes to computer stuff and I’m currently looking for a few decent components to build my first pc
I've got a 3070 and an 11th Gen i5, so a few years old now but still good for the most part on ultra settings. Drg is known for needing a good single core CPU, rather than a beefy graphics card. Some of the new AMD gamings processors I've heard are very good
I noticed you keep using your flamethrower on targets or walls too far away. I don't know the name of it but there's a sort of "aura visualization" that shows you the range of limited-range weapons/tools. I find it great for driller's flamethrower. Also another mod that will show you how your throwables/projectiles will arc, with a built-in toggle on/off feature. Great for your axe intuition. Third, how the hell do you guys seem to get away with using ammo so liberally? I am much more careful with my ammo use and I still run out.
Generally I like to keep the UI mods to a minimum and just get better. I definitely need to work on my flame pathing, I switch between FSD and sticky for different missions to the distance in my head is off
Also the ammo thing. These are all meta ammo efficient weapons but we usually use 40 then 60N resupplies since there's so many bugs around. It's also efficient because mostly wherever you shoot there's going to be a bug. Also pacing (not waiting around at all) helps a lot with ammo economy
Does this mod alter their pathing? The glyphids seem to swarm very differently in this mod. Instead of just swarming every surface they approach as a column.
I was confused when I saw a Darth Syphilis thumbnail under a different name
This was some issue with the RUclips monetisation policy, I preferred the old name but I guess this is more accurate channel name anyway
@@DarthSyphilis As long as it's the same old content!
This is the first time I’ve actually seen a canary in these modded mission videos and it’s just an oversized swarmer😂
It's amazing just how big you can make a swarmer

"Hello!"
The mactera pack from behind: 👀👀👀👀

Nice to see a person share more than one of their thoughts

Were you in voice comms for this? Perfect coordination seems to be required here lol
Nope the only comms we used here was the in-game chat and pinging stuff. Everyone has a good understanding of their roles and faith in the other players to do theirs, it's great fun
i miss the old channel name already
Yes, so do I
is there any sort of way to guarantee a chance at getting the nerf skin?
If you mean the weapon skin I'm afraid not
I would be so fucking scared on this XD
I was at first but it's about as close to a perfect hoard shooter at this point

i may be wrong but i think on hard modded difficulties they use a 40 nitra resupply mod to make it more fair

It may increase the number of enemy attackers per player, or allow bugs to be inside each other (otherwise they can push themselves too much)
What were your perks?
Usually resupplier, born ready, and vampire. Sometimes I'll swap in thorns, red sugar, or elemental insulation for born ready
i killed the bulk at the end
oopsie
It's kinda funny that my plan was to walk past it anyway
Bro pls can you post your gameplay in 60 fps?
I'd really love to but recording in 60fps causes it to drop below 60
