Took me like a year to figure out half of this stuff. The other half like what you shared about hunting stands and the zone delete numbers I didn't even know! Thanks for the tips Lady, the game should have an in depth tutorial with you as the voice/ character that walks you through it!
Happy to help! Thanks so much Honey Badger! Have you seen my beginner guide? I’m away and have poor internet. I can’t link it but if you search for lady beginner - it’ll come up. Thx for watching! 😊😊😊
These old guide videos have been super helpful for me getting more comfortable with the game. When i first started playing it was super frustrating, mainly because i didnt understand alot of mechanics. Thanks for these videos and thanks for helping me enjoy the game instead of rage quitting!
If you use a bow in a stand you get kind of a negative hunting pressure, the first kill with show some but the next kill will cause that one to go away and the second one and so on won't show up at all and it will clean your entire map. So what is happening is a kill reduces hunting pressure a tiny amount over the whole map. At first I thought it went in order of your kills but I noticed light hunting pressure that is more recent goes away before old heavy hunting pressure.
I had built up a massive herd including 2 level 3 diamond whitetails at a spot on Rev Coast. I accidentally shot it to level 4 and zone disappeared. There is no other water near - does that mean all the animals are at other spots now? There were over 20 deer including tons of big ones at this spot.
I think hunting pressure needs a major rework. At the very least a single rabbit or duck etc. shouldn't add the same hunting pressure as big game. Also (probably kind of unpopular opinion) the placeable hunting stands are too strong. They shouldn't be as good as static ones or the bow. You can set them up ~200m away from a herd in an open area and become almost completely invisible and clear out the whole herd without killing a need zone. In a game that puts emphasis on ethical kill shots I think it's just out of place to eliminate the hunting pressure mechanic that is basically also for the purpose of not mindlessly shooting everything that moves.
The most frustrating thing for me is I will have a “heard” of lets say reindeer. Ill shoot 3 or 4 (not instant kill most of the time). Then I will have my dog track, i never find over 75% of the animals Ive shot. My fog loses the track or the track sometimes just stops after a certain point. What am I missing or doing wrong? I feel like theres hundreds of unfound animals all over the place and it really sucks lol Any help would be greatly appreciated! Love your vids. They help out greatly:)
I really appreciate this video, I don’t use my dog as much anymore because he wonders off onto another track and it says tracking prey so I will stick to the phone
at first i didn't really pay attention to your channel but you are starting to grow on the outlaw with your Canuck voice...i assume you are a real hunter?i have a question ...can you or have you made a video with some of the harder missions and how to complete them
As a random side note and I've not tryed that in recent time, but since the hunting pressure is a static value of 200 points before a zone gets deleted and each weapon kill adds 50points of pressure, bow and hunting stances have an forced pressure multiplier of x0.25. If you would kill from a Huntingstance with a Bow you only add 3.125 points of pressure to a zone. So you could kill 64 animals befor a zone is exceeding the 200points (200/(50*0.25*0.25)=64 (hope this formula is correct). Given killing 64 animals from one stand is prob. never gonna happen and I don't know if this is still correct but it was 2 years ago :D
Killing 16 animals with a bow specifically is already very situational, hunting pressure aside animals still leave after spooking too often (without properly calming down I think) and you can't reliably kill more than 1 or 2 per engagement in most situations with a bow. From a hunting stand you'd probably pass the time for their respective need zone before getting past half of that.
When your just starting out setting up a grind for white tails and only have 3 tripods is okay to hunt 3 zones while your finding your other zones so you can build cash to get more tripods and level up at the same time or how would you go about that?
This is really helpful tip for me after a year ! My English is weak 😅! So what happened is the zone vanished or disappear after killing 4 animal on the same spot?
Thank you for the video, I'm still learning :) Does Lookout points also reduces hunting pressure? I believe that information crosses my learning path at some point, but I'm not sure.
I know this is old but if I destroy a need zone will a new re appear or will it just be done because I don’t want rein deer on the other lakes but I don’t want them gone
You mention Treestands and Tripods, but what about the Ground Blinds, Waterfowl Blinds, and the Layout Blind? Are they affected by the same reduction as well?
So all I have to do is to change spot for a while so it will turn red and then I will go back to the other spot ok thank you lady because I’m trying to hunt ducks and I got none because I have this pressure but now I’ve changed spot and none showed again should I wait more what should I do I’m in (revontuli coast)
I have a question. I killed 2 lions in Savana. They were in a drink zone. After I harvested I went to my lodge and came back to see that the drink zone is no longer there. It was there before I went to my lodge. Do you know why this happened? Edit: I didn’t use a hunting structure but you said that the 4th animal will kill the zone.
1:11 I like going for the thoracic vertebrae. I think that's what it is. The spinal cord. It drops them immediately and I don't have to track them. Or brain shot if I know I can hit it. I've shot some In the head and tracked them 800m because I missed the brain. I've been lure hunting and using the 10mm.
exactly how does it work? wherever 4 pressures overlap, zones within overlap are killed? what does 15 per structure mean? like 15 overlapping? or 15 total from that structure?

Do you know whether or not if hunting pressure is overlapping, spanning a distance, and if you overhunt anywhere along the 'chain' will it remove all zones within that whole area and not just the overhunted 4 tier? I lost a ton of zones once or twice and wonder if that theory is why. Cheers for some good fresh vids!
@@LadyLegendXO Thank you, I kinda figured. Miss my old wild turkey outpost! I'll keep working on it, hopefully should come back. I have a stand setup just a creep from the outpost. That coupled with the wood blind in between the two lakes, you can slay!... could :-|

Yes. With any hunting structure you can kill 15. 16th kill deletes all zones under the pressure. They relocate somewhere else
