This is so unexpected. I feel like nobody really knows about this song and I’ve always felt it was the best RHCP song they ever wrote.

Ashamed to admit I'm a huge RHCP fan ( born 94 so not exactly my era) and didn't know about Porcelain until I saw this, it now lives in my soul.

We played this song for my fathers funeral, who the years before passing was in and out of my siblings life. Regardless we loved him deeply, beautiful cover.
This song is about a heroin addict who lead singer Anthony Kiedis met while touring and invited back to their show, some time went by and the girls addiction got so bad she sold her body for sex to feed her craving, she was found dead on the street. The song was dedicated to her and all the other lost souls drifting, floatin and fading away.
