Thank yiu for taking yiur time to go over this product. I've been using it for a couple weeks now and I love it! I have it set right in the middle. I do believe your not supposed to adjust that past that first O ring. Once you see that O ring stop and go clockwise half a turn till it's gone and that's your starting point. I definitely need to take mine apart and regrease it now that I watched this lol other then that the thing is cool!

Great explanation! I just have a question about the boost reference hose you mentioned at 1:39. From the factory setting, should there be a "T" connector connecting a thinner hose to the driver side wall? Do you know what that hose is?I recently got an 05 STI and the previous owner had the motor rebuilt, and he just left that thin hose from driver side wall unplugged... I'd really like to figure out what that hose does and should I put a T back. Thank!

Congrats on the 05 ! Yeah no hoses should be left unplugged. The “T” is only from the factory boost gauges that runs from the T reference line to the firewall into the boost gauge. Do you have a gauge on your steering column? If yes then you want to tee that back and make sure the other end is in the gauge cause it should not be working if not hooked up to a vacuum/boost line. If no gauge leave it unplugged from the motor until you get
one. Here is the video I made showing how to install the factory gauge if you didn’t get a STi that came with one. ruclips.net/video/b18wtcp7dQw/видео.html

@@svtwrc Ohhh! I see it's for the boost gauge! That really makes sense to me now!
Actually the previous owner deleted the factory boost gauge on the steering column and installed one of those triple gauges, but he told me one gauge was still not connected yet so I guess I'll also figured that out.
Again huge thanks for answering my question.

暴风雨的前习 I had to think about that for a second and the 05 STi did come factory with the gauge. Double check the gauge for the hose then you can put the Tee back in. It bad that some big RUclipsrs can’t answer questions when they have videos that leave a bunch of questions I’m just glad I can service my video still thanks for watching.

i got the same bov but i noticed i can blow through the atmosphere vent through the recirculation vent so mine leaks there is there a way you could blow through the side of yours so i know if its normal? i imagine it should be completely sealeed otherwise it will such in unmetered air but maybe its not enough to make a difference? im gonna try thick grease on the valves part because thats where the air is getting past,i dont see any other why of fixing this? there is one i know will 100% fix this leak and thats plugging the atmosphere side and only recirculating.
you may wantto check yours anyways for peice of mind you dont want dirty air sucked in.

What should I get I’m new and I really want a set up like (handbreak, wheel, stick shift

The Thrustmaster stuff is too expensive. If your fist Xbox try EBay for used G920 wheel and pedal and maybe shifter. Then get a Collective minds gaming hub and you can use almost any combo together like a g920 wheel and Fanatec pedals and a Sparco shifter handbrake. There really is no cheap way around a full set upmost a way to do it without breaking the bank like you can do in sim racing.

Can you run this on a original STI 2002 😅?

you should be able to as long as the flange on the intercooler is the same.
