They are beautiful 😍 as a note, most resins reactivate alcohol inks and if you wish it not to move , it's best to seal it with a matte or Kamar spray varnish first. 🥰💕
I found two part resin works best. The uv lamp/light cannot penetrate through the foil or the bottom of solid bezzels. It's worth the time, as there won't be liquid uv resin left under the foil. The light catches the edges, but there will always be liquid uv resin squishing around underneath. Pretty pendants.❤
Why not just a strong glue? There won't be much wait time then. Maybe Crafter's Pick (water based superglue) or Dimensional Magic or something else to give the wrinkled part support? It'll dry faster and you can get on with the project.
I would like a short video how you do you foil inserts. I'm guessing you crunch the foil, spread it, then trace the pendant. If you do anything different, please let me know!
I had been told that it was inadvisable to use alcohol inks with UV resin. Due to the problems with alcohol inks fading so badly, I wonder if this should be done with regular UV colorants mixed with low viscosity UV resin and then put directly onto the aluminum?

This is very neat. Just curious how the UV resin cures under the tin foil without it being transparent? Thanks for sharing

I was thinking of that. I will use a 2 part resin as they are so pretty!

Thank you so much!
Just love these. I’m a purple freak so I’m a fan. I think a touch of sparkle sounds like a good idea too. Thanks for sharing your ideas.
Personally i would use PVA glue, ir jewlers glue on the foil, then the UV resin ir the two part. Thise turned iut great!!
This is a new technique for me, and I 'm really excited to try it! These are beautiful!

Thanks for subbing and welcome aboard. Have a great week
Absolutely beautiful love the effect ❤
You could secure the aluminum foil with instant glue. The UV resin won't dry underneath.

Lovely, as always : )
These are just lovely. Please can you tell me does the uv resin cure properly under the foil?

So cute ❤️🇩🇰😍
How does the does light go through the foil?
How does the resin on the bottom cure with the foil over it and no uv?
How many minutes under the light? Please
