@@Кирилл-ъ5г I dont, but not because I dont like it. I still love the california but since I got my custom marshall major I started using the BSM Galaxy which is a more authentic or direct copy of the Aiwa tape preamp circuit.
@@DogwithtwoBones Make a video about the connection. How do you have everything connected, where does the sound from the amplifier go, is there a master volume, do you turn on the amplifier in the office?
@@Кирилл-ъ5г I have made a video a couple of months ago about the Torpedo Captor and using IRs for Blackmore sound. Basically I don't use a speaker, so there is no sound in the room. The Amp is plugged into the Rivera Rockcrusher (with a speaker cable) which is an attenuate (but i dont use that function) and a loadbox meaning it takes the impedance of the amp like a speaker would. From the rockcrusher's balanced line out I go (with a mic xlr cable) to my audio interface which is a Focusrite Scarlett. That uses USB to connect to my computer. I use logic pro where I load the Two Notes Torpedo Wall of Sound plugin into every track I play to simulate the speaker sound. I use the brit 1935 profile.
Thank you for this mini series, very interesting (as always). I would like to ask you how do you usually set up your guitar action. Lately i'm very interested in this topic, but it's very difficult to find something about on the net (obviously i'm talking about RB's set up). There's a single interview of the late '70s (Long live rock n roll period) where ritchie says that his action is very high, which is very probable considering his clean slide playing, you can notice that in rainbow reunion's photos, too. The amazing fact is that RB plays always on the same guitar during live shows, slide playing or not, that's why he is the best...🤐
If someone knows it'll be this guy, www.treblebooster.net/bsm-tonezone/ritchie-blackmore he has a whole section just dedicated to Blackmore's technical specs throughout the years.
I always thought Blackmore has a medium to high action because of slide playing. He is very clean indeed. It is possible to play slide on a a medium or almost low action guitar is you have enough control with a light touch. If you see me play slide it is alway always on my white strat because I set the action up on that guitar to be able to play slide. On my other strats I have very low action, too low actually. I just lower than until they choke and then slightly raise them back up. But I have to stop doing this because I strat to feel it doesn't sound right.
Bernd at BSM not only makes incredible pedals he's also very knowledgable on Blackmore's gear. Also you can always ask Cooky on facebook, he was Blackmore's guitar tech from 81 to 89. He is a cool dude and is open to questions. let me know what he says.
its incredibly hard to follow because you only do things once, and then not close to the fingerboard. Your message is good but the low number of thumbs up show imho you show it less good as possible. And talking and playing at the same time makes it hard to hear
Brilliant, again. Do more. Many, many more. Please.
Thank Chuck, I am on it!
@@DogwithtwoBonesOf course you are.
Thanks. Great explanation and lesson on Richie’s style, techniques and scales.
Thank you!
Excelente clase de Ritchie Blackmore!!! Muchas gracias!!!

I talked to Cooky and he said Blackmore always had the lowest action available on his strats. That’s surprising!

Yeah talking and playing in the same time doesn’t work, had to find out the hard way. Thanks for the constructive feedback!
