Seriously though, Mobius is totally overrated. Yellow Squadron was a training squadron, so other than 4 (who was flying a damaged plane when Mobius shot her down), and 13, it would be fair to say it was one of the weaker enemy ace squads. Both Stonehenge and Megalith were stationary targets, and less heavily defended than similar targets in other AC games, i.e., Chandelier in AC6, and even then, the tunnels you had to fly through in Megalith were more spacious than similar tunnels in other games, for example, the gun barrel in Chandelier, again. Also, let's be honest, Stonehenge would be terrible as an anti air weapon. Maybe it's useful at long range because shells are cheaper than missiles, and it has a wider coverage area, but close in, say, against a fighter trying to destroy it, it wouldn't be able to move nearly quick enough to track targets, and even if it could, the fragmentation from the shell explosions would probably destroy the facility for the attackers. Everything else was just basic Ace Combat stuff. Every AC silent protagonist singlehandedly wins the war their game is set in.
Phoenix survived going up against 4 superpowered FALKENs at the same time and was so dangerous that a *GUIDED NUCLEAR MISSILE* was deemed necessary. And guess what? That wasn't enough to take him down. Hell, Mobius 1 only became a superboss once. Phoenix has had that honor twice and yet everyone keeps going on about Mobius. Hell, Phoenix is the reason we even *HAVE* Ace Combat; he's the protagonist of the first two games. Three if you count the second game's remake.

It's VERY difficult to do, but you can get a few hits on a Yellow in the first mission they appear, (at the oil facility). There's some neat hidden dialogue if you do.
On AC5 with the missiles hitting the mass driver, just go to the edges of the trajectory they are coming from, and you will see four F-117A's who are shooting the missiles and you can shoot them all down to stop the missiles completely.

I thought the same thing for years. Then I remember something he said before he decided to hit the stadium: "The canopy won't blow" If he tried to make a water landing, he still wouldn't have been able to egress from the plane, effectively drowning himself.
Pretty sure AC5 happens before AC4. After the incident with SOLG, Razgriz squadron disappears. In Ace Combat 4, there's a jet liner in distress, there's a flight officer on the crew named Kei Nagase who takes control of the plane and flies it like a pro. After AC5, she went civilian. Also, The Yuktobanian AWAC, Okanyeba (sp) translated to "Sky Eye", the AWAC callsign from AC4. So, to play the game chronologically, you'd play AC0, AC5, AC4.
5 is actually last in the order. Check the dates of the missions in each briefing. AC5 is 2010-2011 in strangereal, AC4 is 2004-2005. It doesn't explain the fact there is a Nagase in 4 though. I guess she has a big family?

Pretty sure AC5 happens before AC4. After the incident with SOLG, Razgriz squadron disappears. In Ace Combat 4, there's a jet liner in distress, there's a flight officer on the crew named Kei Nagase who takes control of the plane and flies it like a pro.
After AC5, she went civilian.
Also, The Yuktobanian AWAC, Okanyeba (sp) translated to "Sky Eye", the AWAC callsign from AC4.
So, to play the game chronologically, you'd play AC0, AC5, AC4.
5 is actually last in the order. Check the dates of the missions in each briefing. AC5 is 2010-2011 in strangereal, AC4 is 2004-2005. It doesn't explain the fact there is a Nagase in 4 though. I guess she has a big family?
