I am actually considering between crockett and jones or trickers for their boots. Trickers looks more rugged and strong but crockett and jones looks more handsome.
@@KudusoleSaphir the best polish a man can get, either light or mid brown would be great depending on depth of colour, or clear if you want to retain the patina which I think looks cool
I never thought about getting Chelsea boots, usually they don´t look appealing to me. This version looks great though. I recently started wearing Coniston. They are made from same leather and are also very comfortable. I guess I will have to think about going a bit more agricultural, as somebody here in comments pointed out.
Crockett and Jones the best a man can get in that price point, i bought my Crockett and Jones Chelsea boots from the factory shop at half price, minor flaw in calf on toe
Hi, I'm French and I was wondering if you could do the same for me? I'm willing to pay you 60 euros plus the shipping costs. Thanks in advance! Best regards, julien
Hi mate. Nice video. Keep them coming :) would be nice to share the brands with the stiff grain leather. I’m thinking about Berwick, because it would be really unfortunate to pay more than that for the boots and then have a stiff pair.
True, I will try to disclose from now! I think some people do like stiff leather actually. Berwick and Meermin, I find their grain leather really stiff.
When I was 10/11 I got a pair of suede kickers (French brand) boots with elastic sides, wonder that would classic as chelsea boots. That was the only pair of boots I had, don't think I got another pair of boots all these years, just not really into boots.😝
They look fantastic. Love the pebble grain and the casual look.

I do agree! It depends on models but crockett is more formal and trickers is more contemporary imo
For true country boots/shoes I would recommend Trickers
Hi there. I really enjoyed your video. Did the dark brown colour fade slightly over time?
It did a bit, yes. I am going to use coloured shoe cream or wax soon to top it up a bit

Love my Coniston rough out suede and my Chelsea boots in tan both bought half price from factory shop
What about Chelsea 3 and 5? What's the difference
3 is a lower profile

Do you use shoe trees do these boots ?
I seldom use them. When I clean them I definitely do

I think you should really try again Louis :D
Are these boots more for county walking ?
Yes but I think I can wear them normally too
Personally I’m not a fan of this model of Chelsea from C&J. It looks rather unrefined and agricultural.
