Tesla Model 3 Matte vs Glossy Screen Protector | Which is Better? [UPDATED]

In this video I will show you how to install the Car Winer Matte Screen Protector in my Tesla Model 3. I originally installed a glossy screen protector when I got my Tesla. Since then I've found the glare and reflections a distraction while driving. I purchased the Car Winer Matte Screen Protector on Amazon. Anyone can install this screen protector in less than 10 minutes following my instructions. The secret to the install is to use lots of tape to hold the screen protector in-place while you remove the backing. I highly recommend the matte version.

thanks for the video. looks to me the glossy screen protector made the glare worst than with no screen protector. and matte unfortunately dulls the sharpness of the display. was very helpful for me either way, so thanks!

Totally agree. I prefer the matte version to remove glare. Protecting my screen is secondary.

maybe im in the minority, but i am on the side of no screen protector, havent had any issues yet 1+ years. i just clean the screen every now and then...

I agree that it is unlikely to be damaged or scratched in normal use, unlike a cellphone. The matte version really does help with glare and is the only reason I switch to the matter version. Accessories like floor mats are more important.

the glossy ones I've tried are mostly glass, the matte finish ones I've tried feel like plastic. Either one is good, really depends on personal preference. I find the glossy ones cause a bit of glare. thanks for watching
