@@JoyKongMDthe last time I contacted you guys was a year ago and the price was 10,000$ ? But I guess it’s part of the economic disaster we are dealing with here in the US ! Everything has gone up so I can understand!
Have you ever treated a burn victim? My 6 year old son fell backwards into a fire pit. We are at day 7, we are trying to find treatment . He’s in the hospital now
I am so sorry to hear about your little boy. As parents, you must be so worried. We have not treated a burn victim per se, but have used stem cells for wound care successfully. Stem cell therapy has shown tremendous benefits in wound care, and burn is a type of wound. Yes he can benefit greatly from stem cell therapy.
@@JoyKongMD I think stem cell treatments are going to become a normal part of everyday medicine. from the ER to the OR there are so many applications for healing. hypothetically, if you were treating a burn victim, what would instinctively be your choice of approach? IV?
Dr. Kong thanks for sharing and teaching!! I am going to see if i can make an appointment for my wife and myself. We are on our early 60s. Thanks again!!

My wife was diagnosed with congestive heart failure in February. She is 55 and in good health. They say that the inflammation in her heart is causing her symptoms. Are you willing to treat someone suffering from CHF? No blockages.

You noted at the 4:40 mark that the umbilical cord used to be discarded but now it is not. It is collected and then utilized as you are explaining in the video. How much do they pay the family for that umbilical cord stem cells?
Donors CANNOT be compensated in anyway as the selling of human tissue is illegal in the U.S. see this video for details on the process of how the tissues are obtained: Where Do You Get the Stem Cells? ruclips.net/video/jfz8qnraFTI/видео.html
Yes.... Very good question..... We to have ubalical cord of my son who is suffering from auto immune disease, can it be useful for his treatment, I am following since 5 years regarding stem cell therapy, kindly suggest.....
We had some success at our clinic treating patients with Parkinson's. In one case the patient was able to lift himself out of the wheelchair and walk towards the doctor to hug her after being wheelchair-bound for many months...
Thank you. Do you have experience treating frozen shoulders or muscle weakness due to P.K.? Do you think stem cells might strengthen the area or left arm/hand? thank you
I live in Thailand and I interviewed numerous clinics about their development protocols. I only found one that uses first generation cells. I actually talked with the director of one group who has his own lab and they culture all their own cells. That was the only facility that I felt was straight and had accurate answers to my questions.
Hi Dr. Kong! I've received uc msc IVs and injections for osteoarthritis and facial injections for Trigeminal damage. I was just told from a plastic surgeon that uc MSCs and placental too do not have living, virile msc stem cells.....he said they're "dead." Could you please debunk this logic! He only does autologous MSCs from fat and bone. I am definitely NOT a candidate for autologous therapies because of my underlying inflammation and lots of senescent cells. Again, could you please elaborate on the info that's floating around stating uc MSCs are "dead" and do nothing. I love your content and research. Thank you!❤
It is really unfortunate that there's a lot of misinformation floating around, and some myths have persisted, such as the myth that birth tissue derived stem cells do not have live cells. That has been debunked by third-party testing results for products from many companies. It's sad that people would perpetuate incorrect information for their own gains or due to ignorance.
And thank you for your support. Science and truth and vast amount of research have proven the cells from umbilical cord are alive, as evidenced by their high proliferative capabilities, as seen in cell expansion process in a culture medium -- often done overseas.
Thank you. Do you have experience treating frozen shoulders or muscle weakness due to Parkinsons Disease.? Do you think stem cells might strengthen the area or left arm/hand? thank you
I have not had experience dealing with frozen shoulders from Parkinson's disease. Whether or not Stem Cell Therapy can help depends on what caused the frozen shoulders in the first place. Since no one knows exactly why frozen shoulders occurs in Parkinson's, it is difficult to say whether or not Stem Cells can help. However, that said, anti-inflammatory medications and steroids are the main methods of treatment for frozen shoulders caused by Parkinson's... and since anti-inflammatory activity is one of the main mechanisms of how stem cells help the body repair, there's a chance that Stem Cell Therapy could be helpful.
Can you answer the question that is what everyone wants, cost? I'd like to know how much the difference in cost really is I'm guessing the procedure is the same right? Is there any transparency
Sorry if it was not clear. The cost of stem cell therapy at our clinic is based on dosage of cells needed, which is determined by a person's bodyweight, age, and health issues, as well as considerations such as whether local injections is necessary in addition to IV infusions. Generally, treatment cost for most people ranges between $8500-$18,000 per treatment.
I live in Mexico and I have received several stem cells infusions, they collect a day before and they give a certificate of origination, no incubator. There are doctors in other counties that also enjoy science, research is not American exclusive.
Cynthia, can you tell us which company you have used or are familiar with? Many of us are just doing the research for cost and location for information. Thanks.
My friend who has MS and lives near Puerto Vallarta has been taking stem cell infusions for over a year there. He says the results are nothing short of Divine Intervention and he is a Godless atheist. He also said the treatments are very affordable there.
I still didn’t quite understand how much it cost for the IV and let’s say a knee injection. I heard so many numbers, but it couldn’t figure out which one was which.🙈 I think I heard that you could have an ivy long ago along with fixing many points in the body 20k am I correct?!
The range generally is between $5,000-$30,000 in the US, and again for each person the cost would be different depending the amount of sales needed, and the routes of administration that's determined at a time of consultation.
OK everything is about "OUR"product? This tells me everything I need to know why the cost is exorbitant. This ought to be in a public health program rather than leaving us to shop around like for a new Cadillac. Can't afford that either…
There's some evidence that stem cell therapy can help patients to recover from stroke of the brain, and it should be no different for the spinal cord...
This is great info to educate those of that have no expertise or knowledge on this process. Do you also screen out any donors that have received the recent MRNA shot from the past few years?
Thank you for your comment. Please listen to this lecture of mine which covers some of your questions: ruclips.net/video/GnVWNljBM3I/видео.htmlsi=PENhIweeDl7AMnMu
Please watch this video to see what's screened for and the process of obtaining the cells: Where Do You Get the Stem Cells? ruclips.net/video/jfz8qnraFTI/видео.html
You never really said what it would cost to do an IV treatment. Just what a single localized shot would cost (5.5k 6:20), or a bunch of joints with an IV (20k 6:28). You start to give a breakdown on how to do the calculation: it's 1cc per 60lb of body weight, plus 1cc for a health complication, plus 1cc for being advanced in age over 65. But you didn't give the per cc cost. If I assume there is 2cc in a joint shot (as you said a joint shot is 1-2cc 5:01), that would work out to 2.75k per cc. Is that the right ballpark to be able to make an IV estimate based on the afore mentioned parameters? It seems like someone 40+ might like to do an annual IV, but of course, it would be nice to know what that would run. I'm also curious if one was interested in this sort of treatment, would there have to be a specific health difficulty one was trying to treat to be eligible to sign up for the IV treatment?
I'm sorry if I did not make it clear, and got lost in telling people what goes into the dose calculation. Basically at our clinic, with all the adjunct treatments as part of the protocol, we charge $8500 for the first 2 cc of stem cells, and each additional CC we charge $2500. And you're right, final does depend on a person's weight, age and health issues. Most people require 2-5cc, so $8,500 to $16,000 at our clinic. But if one wants to add exosomes or various local injections etc, it could go higher... Hope this makes it more clear.
2012 I paid almost 12k for my own stem cells from US Stem Cells in Weston Florida. They harvested my ownb cells, then gave me a local shoulder and knee injection plus an IV. Sadly, I realized no benefit and my wallet was still sore. Lol, just my experience.
Thank you for sharing your experience. Sorry you do not notice any benefits. Using a person's own themselves has various limitations, which have discussed in different podcasts and lectures, especially when a person is older in age. But how is processed and administered are all important. Using younger cell sources that's processed correctly, targeting various mechanisms of the condition through the different properties of stem cells, and also using an integrative approach to address.various underlying causes of the condition will be crucial for the success of the treatment.
@@JoyKongMD Dr. Kong, In Your comment above when You said:"Using younger Cell sources" do You mean obtaining Stem Cells from a Young Person, or can You grow new Stem Cells from a draw of a Patient's Blood?
. What Dr. Kong means by younger stem cells sources is that you can get stem cells from umbylical cord blood, umbylical cord tissue, and amniotic membrane. These sources are donated by healthy mothers who have undergone a cesarian section right after giving birth to their babies. Tgis should NOT be confused with embryonic stem cells which are unethical and ilegal in USA.

Hi! For narcolepsy patients. Do you think intrathecal or intravenous would be a better route? They say narcolepsy is autoimmune so that’s the argument for IV but then again narcolepsy is a result of orexin (hypocretin) deficiency in the hypothalamus so that’s an argument for intrathecal or potentially both?
There are some animal studies showing transplanting Hypocretin/Orexin Cell improved Narcoleptic-Like sleep behavior in rats, but for clinical practice, we are still far away from this type of transplantation. As to using general MSCs to help patients with the condition, I have not seen any research on this particular subject yet...

Hello and thank you for your very informative videos. Just to clarify the cost is up to $18000.00 per treatment but am I correct in saying that the recommendation is usually 3 treatments please?
If it is a chronic condition we are trying to help with... if it's something acute, it could be just one treatment. A local injection could be as low as $5500 at our clinic.
Yes, it's usually $8,500 to $18,000 per treatment if IV route is involved, and for chronic issues we may need to do 3 treatments spaced 1-2 months apart, but for antiaging purposes it can be a treatment every 3-6 months.
I have a friend who had great success with Dr. Todd Malan for adhesive arachnoiditis. She said he used mannitol before administering the MSC IV and that he also used a “paste” to inject the MSC’s intramuscular next to the spine. He told her the cells would survive in the paste and be active for two years. I read that you sometimes use mannitol, but what are your thoughts on the “paste” and is there anything similar?

Hello Dr. Kong. You mention IV injections, is that stem cells or Exosomes or both? Also how these cells successfully getting through the first pass barrier of the lungs? My understanding is that in a IV implementation the majority get trapped there. BTY thank you for making the video, it’s very informative.
The idea of Stem Cell has been trapped in the lungs through IV Route is somewhat of an old concept. Studies have shown that within three days, the cells are no longer detectable in the lungs. If a person has lung pathology, it is likely that a lot of cells would stay in the lungs. But if the person has healthy lungs, most likely the cells will migrate out of the lungs. And thank you for your kind words about my video.
@@JoyKongMDcan you please explain how this is advisable? Being on hemodialysis three times a week is standard. It seems highly unlikely the filtering and heating of the blood would not severely impact the MSC’s in circulation. Potassium, one of the smallest ions in circulation is affected. Are the mothers screened for the Covid vaccines? And how do you check these mothers diets and exercise? And how would you know they would have to have a c section?
These mothers go through regular prenatal care. They decide ahead of time if they would have a natural birth or cesarean section. COVID-vaccinated donors are not accepted for birth tissue donation for the products we use.
Thank you for answering this my question. But how can you verify they are not vaccinated? Is there anyway to tell? I know many who are embarrassed and regret getting it.. and even tell people they have not when I know they did.....
It would be good to know what the cost per 100 million cells is at your clinic. How many cells per kg. would be applied for a IV treatment ? Does your clinic have a lab that extracts the MSCs and supplies your clinic with umbilical cord derived MSCs material ? I agree, people are "fed up" with the system that applies medication exclusively, and excludes the treatment with MSCs. I have a complicated medical situation, all the medication treatments offered, involve side effects, and the threat of infection. The new small molecule drugs that block/inhibit bio-pathways to effect a change/eliminate an associated bio-chemical or cell, in my mind are similar to eliminating a couple of cogs of a gear that is a part of a very complex gearing system. Theoretically, I think that MSCs are better suited to bio-chemical applications due to the fact that these cells are designed to sense the environment in the body and respond to the bio-signals for modulation, repair, and rejuvenation. It disconcerting that apparently this potential translational regenerative medicine has been seemingly suppressed. Many times I have heard the general statement "there's no big money in it", "the source material can't be patented" that's why it hasn't been more quickly developed, or the pharmaceutical industry has not pursued this science. There is a company named Mesoblast Ltd. that has a mesenchymal lineage cell line MSC derived product, it has been a long road for them to have their product approved for the US, the company's products that are available internationally. I'm impressed that you would consider helping people that would find a treatment cost prohibitive, and thus excluded from the benefit. Thank you for being upfront, transparent, and clear in your explanations and information Dr. Joy Kong.
Thank you for your questions. You are correct in your sentiments about the medical landscape currently.... I mentioned in the video that the treatment is not just about cell count, as large number of cells used overseas doesn't necessarily translate into improved quality and efficacy. Actually it could cause more side effects. To understand what we do and tailor that to each person, a consultation is necessary. We do not just quote pricing for "certain number of cells." Please contact our clinic for a consultation. You can call 818-356-8232 or email info@uplyftcenter.com. You can also send in a contact form at www.joykongmd.com/contact/. We do offer free consultations for stem cell therapy.
@@JoyKongMD thank you for the response, I'll contact your clinic and figure out the path ahead. One observed aspect of this evolving science is that the use of exosomes as opposed to MSCs is not well defined. I think that the MSCs are a superior method due to the fact the MSCs are live cellular entities and can sense the environment that they are in and secrete appropriate extra cellular vesicles that are relevant to the system in the body as a whole. The exosomes are the result of MSCs in an artificial environment and the characteristic of the exosomes might be general therefore not selective in the extra cellular components excreted. I have had exosomes two different times and felt that the chronic GVHD that I have was slightly exacerbated for a short time after the application of the exosomes. One time was 200 billion IV, and the other was micro-needling on my skin in the area of my lower calves and ankles where there is excessive fibrosis. I am particularly interested in the characteristic of umbilical cord derived MSCs in reducing, resolving, fibrosis due to the scleroderma which is a result of the chronic GVHD from allogeneic HSCT.

Hi Dr. Kong... can MSC be administered via direct injection and/or IV to a person with active cancer or within 10 years of last cancer surgery? On one of Dr. Arnold Caplan's lectures, he mentioned because MSC sees solid tumor as injured tissue or leaky blood vessels, the MSC will go to the blood vessels & stay there as pericytes. I also read that MSC influences cancer cells via modulating signaling pathways or affecting pathways of apoptosis and proliferation. It is so confusing... will MSC promote cancer progression or inhibit cancer? What is your take on this? I had papillary carcinoma & undergone a full thyroidectomy surgery, followed by RAI (radioactive iodine treatment). The cancer came back, some were on the lymph nodes, so I had a 2nd surgery 1 year after 1st surgery. During the 2nd surgery, 2 remaining tiny thyroid cancer cells couldn't be located/removed. The surgeon deemed the risk to benefit ratio was too high due to cancer cells size & risky approximate location (similar to needle in the haystack situation). He recommended to monitor/check every few months eventually yearly & not do 3rd surgery until after the cancer cells grow large enough to be able to be located/removed. It has been over a decade & the cells remains the same size with no health issue. What risk will MSC treatment via IV and/or direct injection have in my case? What recommendation if not MSC or some type of combined treatment do you have for me who is in my 50s? Thank you very much in advance if you can help shine a light on this.
I forgot to mention, I'd like to have MSC to treat arthritis on knees & degenerative disc on my back, but Im not sure if I can do this without jeopardizing my cancer condition.

#1 question: in the USA why not avoid all the red tape etc and just take cells from the patient belly button and use them???? In Utah there is a company who use this method and seems to be the best type and delivery method over lab grown etc…
A patient's own belly button? Then the cells will be the patient's age, which has drastically declined cell number and cell quality then the birth tissue umbilical cord... They all talk about the safety about stem cells from other sources. What about extracting your own stems cells? No rejection issue. That technology is already being used by the Mayo Clinic. It’s a microwave size machine that can produce high quality stem cells on an out patient basis. Unfortunately all these sourcing clinics and academia wants to maintain the status quo with extracting from other sources and causing you to spend more money.
Doctors often charge more money when extracting a patient's own stem cells. Please watch this video where I compared different sources of cells, with the goal of finding the most efficacious source with the best safety profile. Hope you find the presentation helpful. Are All MSCs Created Equal? ruclips.net/video/_srondIUvAI/видео.html
To be clear, the Mayo Clinic has only done the initial Phase 1 (out of the 3 required) clinical trials (1 for spinal cord injuries & 1 for discogenic low back pain). Trials, particularly Phase 1 & 2 are a long, long, long way off from actually providing treatments to the public. So unfortunately, until such time as such reputable organizations can offer treatments after final approval from the FDA, doctors such as this who consider themselves on the bleeding, er ah leading edge of medical can offer, say & charge whatever they want.
So glad you like it. Botox can definitely help release wrinkling of the skin caused by repeated contraction of the facial muscles. So, it can reduce previous wrinkles (or completely erase them if they have not become too deep), and also help prevent the formation of new wrinkles. I think as an adjunct anti-aging tool it is absolutely fantastic. However, if you do not address the underlying structures such as collagen production in the deeper skin layer, or the muscle and tendon underneath (that grows to be lax and droopy with aging), then you will still have aging of the face... That's when I think a healthy lifestyle and the addition of stem cell Infusions is so powerful.❤️ Please watch this video of mine for the anti-aging benefits of stem cells : ruclips.net/video/ez7zUSzHoUw/видео.html
Dr Joy have you had any successful results with your stem cell therapy with patients with primary open angle glaucoma which first causes loss of peripheral vision eventually leading to blindness. However it's technically a neurodegenerative disorder that causes damage to the optic nerves, retinal ganglion cells & the axons. There is research being conducted with stem cell therapy but there has been no human clinical trials that I'm aware of. Thank you in advance for your feedback Marshal
Hi, Marshal, I have not had any direct clinical experience with this condition yet... however stem cells and exosomes have been shown to be neuroprotective and can help with neurogenesis... There is a possibility that they can help to some degree but I cannot say much more than that...
Dear Doctor Joy Kong. Which type of ozone therapy do you use? EBOO? Major Autohemotherapy ? or hyperbaric ozone therapy? Thank you for your answer in advance.
Joy Kong, in my research, I've learned that an intrathecal injection will get past the blood-brain barrier and IV infusion will not. Does your clinic perform an intrathecal injection? If not, why not?
Thank you for your comment. There is always more risks and potential side effects involved with Intrathecal injections, which is why we are not using this approach at my clinic. However, we do intranasal stem cell injections where cells can be uptaken into the brain through olfactory and trigeminal nerves, or use intranansal drip of exosomes which will allow such nanoparticles to cross the cribiform plate and be uptaken into the brain as well.
@@JoyKongMD Thank you very much for your response, Doctor Kong!! intranasal is something to research. I deal with multiple sclerosis. Is the injection or drip better in that case?...or either?
I think both cell therapy through IV route and the intranasal drip of exosomes are both very helpful in brain conditions. IV route will allow the cells to interact with immune system, which I think is crucial for many diseases, especially for immunologically-related conditions like MS.
And do you purchase the "product" from the mothers? Or did they " donate" it to you? So you can sell it? It's confusing how. Tissue cannot be sold but then it is, but mothers cannot profit from their own babies birth?
Please watch this video which will answer your questions about the sourcing of stem cells we use at our clinic: Where Do You Get the Stem Cells? ruclips.net/video/jfz8qnraFTI/видео.html
I did watch the video, and many others, and it doesn't ever clarify whether you pay for these stem cells? Or the labs that get them and process them.? I assume the labs "pay" the hospital to get them, then process them and sell them to you? So the hospitals SELL these tissues. And make money while the mothers DONATE them? Unless the hospitals donate them to labs, then labs process and clean them and then donate them to you? Which is highly unlikely. So the bottom line is these tissues ARE sold and bought. What did I miss?
Mrs. Kong, why don't you do everything that you're doing with your stem cells but have your clinic overseas like in Mexico etc? It'll be much cheaper for everybody and more profitable for you! 🤷
I appreciate your suggestion. We only accept UA-based mothers who are going through regular prenatal care with all the proper screening and we optimize the mothers' health throughout their pregnancy... Also, we do offer financial assistance to people who have trouble affording stem cell therapy, based on their income level. The treatments we offer uses only native stem cells (almost ALL overseas clinics use expanded stem cells which have their problems), and I am happy to supply our products to overseas clinics, and can train doctors overseas on stem cell therapy using our products which I believe are the most comprehensive and potent regenerative medicine products available...

I have seen patients getting better with stem cell treatments. Improvement I have seen include improved girth, better and firmer erection, improved sex drive and better sexual satisfaction. Infusion implies intravenous route - through the veins.
The cells will eventually go into systemic circulation within three days, especially if you do not have any long pathology. Inflammation in the lungs tend to trap the cells so they can start working to help the tissue heal.
Thanks for your reply.I have another doubt that you are taking stem cells in every six months. Don’t it confuse the immune system by suppressing immune response or suppress the inflammatory response which is normal in human body?
Every therapy will have potential side effects. That being said, the research I've seen shows that regular stem cell infusions improves an animal's lifespan and health span. In a sense,, we're all taking a chance on what we do, such as the kind of food we're putting into our body, the kind of skincare products we are putting on our face, the types of household items we use, and the kind of air we breathe. I'm willing to take a chance on Stem Cell Therapy, which has had tremendous research showing its safety and benefits.
Thank you for your response.Have you done tracing studies which shows in 3 days cells enters in circulation? Can you please share any link so that I go through that paper. Thank you. I watched almost all videos of yours and it’s very informative and you explain in a way that is very easy to understand.
These stem cells clinics need to be honest and not mislead people about culturing stem cells at all. They should take a small sample size from the batch of cells before injection to check its’ potency, and not lose their potential by culturing them before. You are wasting the healing aspect. Using all of the umbilical cord stem cells is fine for bone, connective tissue, muscle, cartilage and fat cells, but it will not help in organs or degenerative diseases. There’s only one kind of stem cell that does it all and many times more beneficial than what’s talked about here. Any guesses?
I am sorry that unfortunately you're not speaking from the understanding of Stem Cell Science, and you have not reviewed all the clinical studies from all around the world. You may be interested in watching this lecture of mine that describes Stem Cell Therapy effect on diverse disease conditions: ruclips.net/video/IbrXPyEPKN8/видео.htmlsi=zfvxN3sYzzIkISnp This is about evidence, not about opinions, or conjectures. This is why I founded American Academy of integrative self therapy to educate physicians on the many aspects of Stem Cell Therapy including laying out the evidence.
@@JoyKongMD Hi Joy. Would you tell me specifically in my statement that’s not understood? I have read a good amount of clinical studies and no one can say they read all the clinical studies. First, there’s too many that are constantly coming out. Second, there are many that are not published on the web or are kept private. I did take time to watch your video. Thank you. I have to point out for people watching the video, that some of the research listed are talking about umbilical stem cells improving conditions as I mentioned in my first message in what they differentiate into, but they are not vital organ specific stem cells. You had one listed study done by China and Ukraine and that was fetal stem cell. Also, the Autism part was misleading if you weren’t carefully paying attention. While MSC from umbilical cord blood and tissue may help in factors and conditions to gain function, it’s not the best. The clinical science shows that it can help, but It certainly can’t make neuronal cells. The same with the heart or kidney. It can do as you say improve the immune system and reduce the inflammation so the body can heal itself. I know you are promoting your business and I think you want to help people understand more about stem cells, which is great. I just think some of the information gets blended together that people get the impression that it does more than it does. Umbilical cord stem cells will improve your vascular system which nourish your cells. The only place where they could get the most powerful stem cell therapy(Fetal Stem Cells) would be clinical trial some where or Ukraine. I still enjoy you videos Dr. Joy so keep them coming. Thank you.
Thank you for your comment. However, numerous search from all around the world have shown benefits of Stem Cell Therapy on diseases of many internal organs, including helping with Repair of the heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, or even enhancing ovarian function... Whether the cells came from a person's own body or from the umbilical cord, or even from the pho source, still proves the point that these cells have potent healing properties... and where they came from are the finer points. Fetal stem cell therapy is not legal in the United States, and there are a lot of ethical objections. I think the stem cell field is rapidly evolving, and in the future we may be able to find much better and more interesting options.
@@JoyKongMD Hi Joy. We both agree that stem cells have benefits helping the surrounding systems to support the heart, lungs, liver, kidneys and ovarian, but to what degree is a big factor. You mentioned in many of your videos that umbilical cord stem cells are better than autologous stem cells, because they are younger and “intelligent” than older ones. I totally agree. It’s like a slow crawl compared to a fast crawl. You will get where you need to more quickly. Now compare that to Fetal stem cells and it’s like a person can fly. The healing factor is that much greater and last much longer than common three months, more like over a year. I am aware that FSC (fetal stem cells) have ethical issues for some people, which I think some are not what they think. Apparently some people think FSC donor are compensated, which is not at all the case. Also, there’s over 40 million abortions world wide according to the WHO that’s just wasted potential to help lives even though these lives never got a chance to flourish. There’s only one place where it’s legal and regulated and that’s Ukraine.
Appreciate your input. I am relieved to hear that compensation is not part of the picture for most of the fetuses used for stem cell therapy. There still need to be more studies comparing umbilical cord-derived stem cells versus fetal sourced stem cells, since umbilical cord stem cells Have characteristics that are in between embryonic stem cells and a newborn baby's stem cells due to the early trapping in the cord during embryogenesis. I would love to see studies comparing fetal stem cells directly with umbilical cord stem cells... So please do share if you have such studies available.
Tijuana has lots of failed, American doctors who maintain the same American standards and prices in Tijuana. Yes, the prices are lower in Mexico and it has nothing to do with prenatal care, lower standard of care, inferior stem cells, etc.
I was trying to give people a detailed and nuanced answer to a complex question, because each person's need is different. Thus the cost of treatment depends on what type of cells are uses, how many cells are needed, the route of administration, a person's body weight, age and health issues, etc... this is information. I think people deserve to know.
@@JoyKongMD I appreciate you doctor I really do. I think you're extremely knowledgeable in this space & passionate about the services you provide. I've watched many of your videos & love the info you provide, but it was a simple question. You could've provided a range to give people an idea because it's really based on the provider & what they choose to charge. An individuals condition is information you obtain from a patient, the treatment itself local/IV & # of sessions to start, should definitely be able to be narrowed down. It's a bit misleading & unfair to talk around the topic when so many people are seeking this service & may or may not need to save for it. We know it varies per provider but giving a general idea wouldve been helpful.
I appreciate your comment and your kind words. I apologize if i did not give a range. I guess I was so wrapped up in explaining the process that i didn't mention the range. Most of the cost for stem cell therapy I have seen ranges from $5K to $30K... I have also heard of overseas clinics charging up to $46K... It is a very wide range, depending on where you are getting the treatment... Hope this helps to clarify.

Don't you hate it when the title of the videos says one thing, but the actual content is evasive forcing you to watch till the end... And then still no answer! She could have given examples and possible costs!😡
I appreciate your feedback, and I do agree with you. I was trying to give people a full picture of what goes into the pricing, but I am happy to do another video giving a more straightforward answer. Thank you again.
What about mothers who are on drugs or were alcoholics? Are those potential donors or are they also filtered out? Last question, have you had any success in the past with treating patients with liver damage? Thx
Hi, you are completely mistaken. I appreciate that you think we were "perfect," lol, that's a first;-) But I can assure you that both Dr Gillenwater and I are flesh and blood, and we sat in our clinic and recorded this episode.
Hi Dr Joy Kong, Thank you for putting such informative videos on stem cells therapy. I did Adipose Knee Stem Cell therapy for my Knee Osteoarthritis. Right knee. Now similar.happening to my left knee. Thinking of doing another stem cells treatment. I read about the umbilical cord stem cells, just like to know the safety and risks around this in particular rejection
Thank you for your kind comment. Umbilical cord stem cells have been shown to be extraordinarily safe. But of course, in any medical procedure, a provider has to be skilled and responsible, and perform the treatment correctly. Problems from any medical procedures using umbilical cord cells tend to be a result of either subpar products that could be contaminated or lacking in quality cells, or subpar skills on the provider's part, resulting in more pain, swelling, or other issues.
@JoyKongMD Thank 😊 you very much, Dr. Joy Kong for inspiring me and giving me the confidence of the next generation knee stem cells therapy. I believe that the more people getting involved and participating in this new therapy, the one day it will get FDA and Global Approval. I did Adipose Knee Stem Cells therapy on my right knee. It seems to work with no knee pain now, but not 100% , however good enough So I am seeking to do the same for my left knee. But I thought I try PRP first as apparently this is also effective, according to many.
It depends on where you go in Mexico. Cost should not be the only consideration. Also consider the cost of travel. Using expanded cells (these are the type of cells used overseas) have their own drawbacks. You can watch this video of mine: ruclips.net/video/7kcfnXs7k6w/видео.htmlsi=xf64H3UBGJNNoMar
Keep in mind that in Mexico, you are getting stem cells from ANOTHER PERSON; conversely, practices like Dr. Kong's use that person's own stem cells. This is important because you are more likely to get side effects from having another person's stem cells versus your own.
I do appreciate your input. However, I do NOT use a persons own stem cells, for reasons that I have discussed in many of my videos. This particular video explains what my treatment approach is: ruclips.net/video/VpICLGyVMfY/видео.html Also, this video below explains why I believe that using umbilical cord sourced stem cells is superior to using a person's own stem cells. ruclips.net/video/_srondIUvAI/видео.html Hope you enjoy the videos!

I live in Thailand and I interviewed numerous clinics about their development protocols. I only found one that uses first generation cells. I actually talked with the director of one group who has his own lab and they culture all their own cells. That was the only facility that I felt was straight and had accurate answers to my questions.
Which clinic was it. Would love to get its name. Am researching going there
That is really good to hear. If they only produced one passage, then the chance of side effects would be a lot less.
Which clinic are you talking about?
Where is your clinic?
Hi Dr.
@@JoyKongMD thank you so very much. We all appreciate your knowledge and content!

@@JoyKongMD Thank you, that makes it MUCH easier to understand.

Well I understand the stem cells are only live for two hours and if you don’t use them in those two hours they are dead. So how can we be assured that the stem cells you’re using are alive.?
@@bondjane007, i got a different type of stem cells, harvested from liposuction from healthy donors . I was told some of that type of cell could live up to 3 weeks and pump out exosomes the whole time they were alive. They definitely helped me. Here is the type of cell that i got. Cx601 Darvadstrocel (DVS) (Cx601, Alofisel; TiGenix S.A.U., Madrid, Spain) Cx601. I got them from a clinic in sarasota. Advanced Rejuvenation called them X cells.

Doctor, does your lab for stem cells check for cancer from the blood before harvesting the cells
We check for infectious diseases required by AATB (American tissue bank association). What cancer markers are you referring to? Hello Dr.
Dr Kong, can IV stem cells be given if patient is on dialysis?
Yes
@@JoyKongMDcan you please explain how this is advisable? Being on hemodialysis three times a week is standard. It seems highly unlikely the filtering and heating of the blood would not severely impact the MSC’s in circulation. Potassium, one of the smallest ions in circulation is affected. Do you have a clinic in the Bay Area or can you recommend a reputable clinic here?
I do not have a clinic in the Bay Area. You can email info@uplyftcenter.com and we can provide a recommendation. However, I have a unique way of providing stem cell therapy, and would be happy to help you at our clinic in Los Angeles.
We do not just quote pricing for "certain number of cells."
Please contact our clinic for a consultation.

Love the stem cell education! What are the benefits of Botox as exhibited by your appearance?
Please
So glad you like it. Botox can definitely help release wrinkling of the skin caused by repeated contraction of the facial muscles. So, it can reduce previous wrinkles (or completely erase them if they have not become too deep), and also help prevent the formation of new wrinkles. I think as an adjunct anti-aging tool it is absolutely fantastic. However, if you do not address the underlying structures such as collagen production in the deeper skin layer, or the muscle and tendon underneath (that grows to be lax and droopy with aging), then you will still have aging of the face... That's when I think a healthy lifestyle and the addition of stem cell Infusions is so powerful.❤️

We do MAH method. The other forms are great too, but we offer MAH at our clinic
Please watch this video which will answer your questions about the sourcing of stem cells we use at our clinic:
Where Do You Get the Stem Cells?
ruclips.net/video/jfz8qnraFTI/видео.html
I did watch the video, and many others, and it doesn't ever clarify whether you pay for these stem cells? Or the labs that get them and process them.? I assume the labs "pay" the hospital to get them, then process them and sell them to you? So the hospitals SELL these tissues. And make money while the mothers DONATE them? Unless the hospitals donate them to labs, then labs process and clean them and then donate them to you? Which is highly unlikely. So the bottom line is these tissues ARE sold and bought. What did I miss?
Brutal!!! Bravo👏👏👏 y follow al canal

Dr Joy, have you seen any men cured of ED by using umbilical cord stem cell therapy? And where would the stem cells be infused?
I have seen patients getting better with stem cell treatments. Improvement I have seen include improved girth, better and firmer erection, improved sex drive and better sexual satisfaction. Infusion implies intravenous route - through the veins.
@@JoyKongMD Good, I was afraid the stem cells were going to be injected by catheterization.
Does this cells get trapped in lungs through systemic infusions?

You may be interested in watching this lecture of mine that describes Stem Cell Therapy effect on diverse disease conditions:

This is about evidence, not about opinions, or conjectures.

You are very welcome. Look forward to helping you achieve your health goals in the future if you choose to come to our clinic.
Tijuana has lots of failed, American doctors who maintain the same American standards and prices in Tijuana. Yes, the prices are lower in Mexico and it has nothing to do with prenatal care, lower standard of care, inferior stem cells, etc.
Can you explain what you meant by "failed American doctors?" I am not understanding...
She did everything but answer the dam question!
Hi Dr Joy Kong,
Thank you for putting such informative videos on stem cells therapy.
It seems to work with no knee pain now, but not 100% , however good enough
So I am seeking to do the same for my left knee. But I thought I try PRP first as apparently this is also effective, according to many.

Could you explain your comment?
I'm going to Mexico for Stem Cells to my knees. Way to costly in the States.
It depends on where you go in Mexico. Cost should not be the only consideration. Also consider the cost of travel.
Using expanded cells (these are the type of cells used overseas) have their own drawbacks. You can watch this video of mine:

How much are we talking Mr deer
Why not go to Utah? They will use your own cells from umbilical cord
This particular video explains what my treatment approach is:

Also, this video below explains why I believe that using umbilical cord sourced stem cells is superior to using a person's own stem cells.

OMG find someone who is an expert in communicatiing to speak for you. You are all over the place and drone on without answering the question. For example, this should have started with between 5k and 30k and let me explain what you get at each pay scale.
So sorry my attempt to explain to people the details of the process did not satisfy you. The way you make your comment is actually quite unkind and unfortunate. I wish the best of luck and god bless.
free stem cells from menstrual blood can make a new baby can make you new again few
BPC 157 will fix it all. Less than $40
That is a statement that is simply not true. Even though I love using BPC 157 at our clinic, stem cells have a broad range of action that simply cannot be rivaled by a simple peptide. One can learn more about how stem cells work here: ruclips.net/video/yYwuQoA4Eg0/видео.htmlsi=uK4p7Dt1CCnkjNWl

Very skeptical of all of this.
Haha you have a point there! But I believe most of the mothers will try to do the best for the new baby they are bringing to the world when they are better informed of healthier ways...
Right🔥👏
Does you company actually harvest the stem cells or do you purchase the stem cells from a 3rd party?
Physicians can purchase stem cell products from tissue banks. I work with tissue banks and have my proprietary formulation to obtain cells from multiple compartments of the birth tissue. Maybe this video can give you a detailed explanation of how the cells are obtained:

I didn't think stem cells are legal in the US?
They are definitely legal when done according to certain guidelines. Please watch this video of mine: ruclips.net/video/Qua24f0L-zA/видео.htmlsi=AigNTdsWunL1aVA1

You would like to enroll in a clinical trial? We do have an ongoing one for traumatic brain injury... if you qualify, we can consider enrolling you in the study
@@JoyKongMD according to my neurologist, I have a traumatic brain injury from being rear-ended in three different car accidents in 3 1:2 years. I also have tinnitus from the 1st car accident. Additionally, I had my own medical problems before that, including liver and portal hypertension matters along us government manufactured hiv. I actually just started listening to you today. so far, your podcasts about stem cells and methylene blue have been informative. I was into you three weeks ago and had stem cell therapy and I felt like crap when I got there and I still feel like crap.😢
