i started playing this game numerous times since the age of 6. im 18 and just learning theres cheat codes after buying on ps4

Yes of course the codes work. I used them sometimes when i used to play it. Still 1 of my favorite games.

I'm playing the PS1 game on PS3. It seems instant when u enter them u get the confirmation. Dunno what I'm doing wrong 😑🤷🏻♂️

I dug out SF and SF2 from 2000 and I’m hacking through SF at the moment. It’s been a long time! 21 years! Thankfully I kept my PS2 machine intact! I’ve PS3 and 4 and only even into COD or MOH, but as good as the graphics get the games get more uninspired and less engaging. SF 1 and 2 are so good you forget about the dated graphics. I reckon these are the best games I’ve ever played along with MOH Frontline.
PS3 console with the 4 usbs is the only console that has the PS2 emotion chip inside still but I would just check the compatibility list on google, should help you also! :)
Be beware some games might have graphical issues.
