WC's are really good. I have a larger head and I have no problem with them. I highly recommend them.
Hey, just a quick question. Is the padding that's seperating your ear from the internals of the headset thicker than the stock ones?

I have the gel cooling and I really like them, I haven't tried the non cooling though

Thinking about picking up the nova pro wireless. Do you believe they are worth the money? I have arctis 7s that ive had for around 2 years and feel the battery is starting to falter

Wearing them now while watching your video. Just got a set of Wicked Cushions today. I've had the stock cushions for about 1 month and they have softened up to the point that I started feeling the ANC bump. The WC are cool at first but honestly after about 30 minutes they start to warm up and are about as warm/hot as the stock ones. That was not the issue for me (I think it's unavoidable TBH) but the ANC bump was becoming a problem. So far so good with the WC.
yea your right about the gel cooling. Its nice at first. I guess if "feels" cool hahaha
Exactly, I wish they had an all fabric earpad this hybrid stuff isn't really good imo. I honestly prefer the stock earpads since they cost no extra money and I get sweaty in both of them. And the WC has worse sound isolation too.
I ordered the faux leather ones on amazon. The finishing is terrible, there’s stitch wrinkles all around the cusions which makes them look very fake and cheap. Had to return them because I wasn’t expecting this and I’m not paying so much for inferior craftmanship. I ordered the original steel series ones to replace the ones I’ve used for the past year and they were perfect! Great finishing and no stitch marks. Sorry for the players that experience discomfort with the nc thing in their ears, I don’t have any discomfort at all.

The ANC bump has been significantly reduced/rectified in the latest build as of early 2024 (see MFR date) for all SKUs in the range.

Might be just me but i find it extremely disappointing that you have to order replacement cushions from a 3rd party and add an extra 50$+ cost on top of the already premium priced headset just so you can use these. Will be returning mine since that ANC bump hurts my ears.
Personally I was happy with the normal pads, but I couldn't ignore what everyone was saying about wicked cushions
I bought a pair for my arctis nova pro wireless. But cant get any good Sound with them on. So i switched back to original. Waste of Money.

@@thejury94 it actually changes the frequency with the change of ear pads. Gadgetry Tech had made a video about the wicked cushions changing the frequencies and the EQ needed to restore them close to the stock pads.

Yeah u can just use the eq to get the sound back lol it takes two seconds to make them sound good
@@Jovanniliftsi am not stupid. i tried it before. I even use settings from Videos here on RUclips. But u can say wat you want, Sounds never so good as with original cushions. And cooling effect only lasts 30 seconds then its gone. Just like i said for me its a complete waste of Money. End of Story.
I bought some of the freeze cushions, they definitely help with the ANC mic pressing against my ear.
My issue is that they are REALLY large. I had to swap them out because they increase the clamping force so much that my jaw hurt from the pressure on the hinge of my jaw.
I reached out to support almost a week ago about their "comfort warranty" to see about the non-freeze version but no answer yet. Their support page says they try to respond within 24 hours. That's certainly not a promise or something that I would hold them to but it's been way longer than that...

Most youtuber saying that the anc thing make this headset uncomfortable on ears but i can't feel anything. Maybe i have big head and medium long hair idk 🤭

Haha yea webcams arent the best, but unfortunately I can't quite afford a better camera to record in 4k yet. One day I would love to, but for now I'll make do with what I have ☺️

Haha the wicked cushions YT had a video, just use a butter knife and twist it in between the plastic of the cuff and the base. Watch the video to see where ☺️
