Hi! As a French person from Paris I’d like to say that most of the very stylish people in Paris are most of the time not French at all.. the city has a reputation of being very stylish thanks to our history therefore it attracts people with amazing style.
But I personally think that French people in general are rather scared to look different or stand out because we are very judgmental. I moved to London years ago and then Australia where I’ve never had any problem expressing myself through my looks and even met a lot of people like me. I never felt different or judged for what I was wearing. I love my city regardless.
I would say exactly the opposite, the most incredible looks I've seen in Paris were always from authentic "born in Paris people", but she doesn't seem to go outside of touristic areas pretty often, which is pretty sad if you ask me

BEST Paris fashion video I have seen! Not only is the quality good, but the people that you were able to catch on camera all had really good style! And you weren’t just filming a bunch of people walking by you were actually stopping people and asking them questions about where they got everything. A lot of the other videos that I’ve seen just film people walking by. And I’m really trying to learn because I’m from Texas and I’m already overwhelmed by when I go to Paris hopefully a year from this comment
I’m a single mom and I work from home and I’m typically in jeans and T-shirt type of girl but I’m ready to dress for Paris! And even though I prefer to do some vintage shopping in Paris, I do want to have a couple very Parisian outfits curated before I leave
