My dad is retired military and gave me his M-65s complete with removable liners. Great jackets. Can be gotten at military surplus stores for a song. And Thursday makes some really nice trucker jackets - in selvedge or non-selvedge denim.
Great list, can't argue with it! I splurged on a Baracuta in the original cut, in Mist IIRC, it's the closest to the colour Steve McQueen wore so famously. It's such a classic and still goes so well with so many different outfits and occasions - I've owned copies before and have handled some recent ones, none have the feel of quality and luxuriousness the original does. I'm also a huge fan of Lee denim jackets, I have a vintage 101-J from the 60s and an early '70s Storm Rider. I think they look better than the Levi's ones and stand out, the Type III is just so common I find it boring by now.
Thanks, nice overview. Might add in the lined nylon Coach's jacket and I think the a 60's style mid-thigh raincoat cuts a nice silhouette on a lot of different body types.
Yeaaa, great fall video! I’ve been waiting patiently to throw on my Flint and Tinder & Levis denim. I am debating on a Denzel Houndstooth blazer but can’t decide if I’d be trying too hard.
