That one took much less time to make, mostly beacouse slower, more heavy atmosphere lets the single image last longer. I was once more inspired by roleplayed sessions of Mr. Rogues, (even while imagery relies more on my headcanon than his.) I think that can be nice supplement to this series, showing how much artificial was Hugo's facade of sanity.
Will I make more of those? Maybe. Proppably. I have many songs prepared for this, but I need this extra kick to actually start making it :D

Love how the inmates are seen as a melted mass of limbs with no higher thought as that is what Hugo sees them as, just lesser beings under his foot only to be used by and for him.
Edit: Also just noticed that Hugo took time to cut off some of the black kings crown to make bat ears.
I know this is a serious animatic, but the writing on the cork board that says Cobblepot on stilts is just hilarious
This is just too good. Most people overlook Hugo, but he's low-key one of the creepier Batman villains. He truly is this obsessed and it haunts him. Batman is the one mind he desperately wants to dive into and he can't unless its through his creepy experiments via his relations in the asylum. He is a masterful personality and you did an excellent job depicting him. You are a totally underrated artist and this video needs more views, likes, and comments. Well done! 👏👏👏👏

I guess I'm just a little confused because I was curious why Jonathan was with hugo I think I've gotten the timeline all scrambled because I thought that Jonathan was the scarecrow before hugo came along
That was really good, and explains a lot about how it is that Batman's villains seem to escape from Arkham on a weekly basis. We'd do better throwing them all in The Pit and putting Bane in change.

@@theapexsurvivor9538 Maybe he has no idea of what's going on at Arkham, Strange is really smart, and he same really good at covering his trace in this AU. At the end of the day, Gotham vilains are insane, which is why they end up in an asylum and not in prison like other DC vilains.
@@bosskaiju4834 I mean, Strange is good at hiding his tracks, but Scarecrow, Harley Quinn, Black Mask (Arkham), and at least one or two others in Batman's rogues gallery were all former staff and directors at the Asylum, and only Harley wasn't known for abusing patients...
There's only so much you can hide from your main customer and primary shareholder, especially when he's Batman/Bruce Wayne...

And THAT will be the first step that will make her closer to becoming Harley Queen from Harleen Quenzeel. It is tragic really. I am curious how they'd Show Harley and Joker for that matter as well as their relationship. I love how so far while the villains have a unique spin they made yet are more in character than what how current media potrays them.
@gabrijelakelec4361 I feel like a "I can fix him"/"I can ruin her" dynamic would be interesting.
Having Harleen be a bit of a bleeding heart who legitimately connects with the Joker...'s facade and tries rather hands on therapy and helps contain casualties while she tries to find the crack to get inside would be an intresting take.
We've seen "madly in love" Harley, "I was already completely crazy" Harley, the "tortured to maddness" Harley...
I kinda want to see Harley be an act that Harleen is putting on to try to get close enough to the Joker to see what is actually going on inside his head. A relationship of two manipulators trying to push the other into a new way of thinking.

This made me think of Batman and Hugo meeting and then Hugo said something about Batman’s true identity and then Batman’s like oh yeah I am actually Bruce Wayne and takes off his math and just says because he trusts you go he’ll allow him to know his own secret identity and secretly that’s just a plot by BatmanTo leave Hugo unsatisfied because just out of the blue he figures out Batman’s True identity because Batman told him figuring out himself it gives the added plus of breaking Hugo‘s brain because he never would’ve expected Batman to do that
I headcanon that he used this tactic this AU to finaly make Strange incapable of hiding his insanity anymore, and to put him with all the other rogues.

This is Amazing! I love how creepy the atmosphere is, from the dark room to Strange's reflective glasses hiding his eyes!
I also like the Joker's hair, though his mouth makes me uncomfortable. If he can't press his lips together, he can't say the B or M in "Batman"

OOOOO I LOVED IT! Hugo Strange slowly going into sanity and becoming obsessed over Batman was incredible! This song definitely fits his character.

Well I completely misspredicted the finale of Mr.Rogues series, that was a fun twist, I stuck more with Hugo on the wrong :u
Okay the story is great but I'd like to say your Batman design is genuinely horrifying and I am here for it.
Hugo Strange is definitely one of the most underrated batman rogues in terms of potential.

Hugo is by far one of my favorite batman villies ever. I feel that you captured his fascination with batman was perfect to the point he want to become batman. I also appreciate the detail of how he is studying him. But I would like the ending to be Hugo finally finding out batman was Bruce because he was one of the only people that was bad.

This honestly needs more likes and views. Its AMAZING. I got literal goosebumps and chills. It is honestly my favorite animatic of yours, after which is the one with The Riddler. I love them all but this one just hits differently. It is creepy,scary and disturbung and perfectly described Hugo Strange.
I think I would've liked it more if Hugo figured out the the batman was or batman or Gordon being onto him.

speaking openly their are three batman villains i fear joker and bane joker cause he doesn't care as long as e gets a laugh or even better batman to react he wins and i would be but a nameless corpse. bane because hes smart to the point its scary and he has the strength to make his smarts easy to look over. hugo strange cause he is the only character i see as a portal on glados given human traits an a mystery not to mention a ton of subjects and unlike the other two he takes his failings and learns how to do it better and for a batman villain thats scary

Joker works on cartoon logic, so his speech is suprisingly clear, but he is constantly drooling, esp when he eats candies that paint his saliva pink
