Hey Peazy, everything you need to fix the truck can be found in Community, in fact, the closer to Community that you set up an initial base, the better start you will have. The red barn to the right of the church in Community, makes an ideal main base, once you burn out the nest, you have easy access to lots of trees, water, deer and chickens, and the town itself. The green barn that you showed makes for a good temporary base, until you get your first molotov, but is hampered by glitchy doors, and almost no flat ground to build on. Setting up a base inside Community can be problematic, as the raiders from the base to the North, like to wander through it at all hours, and they can open up any doors and gates on their way through. This was a good attempt at a starter guide, but some of the locations you showed will take too much time to visit on the first, or even second day. I know that you like to build a custom base, but that option is not realistic in the first few days, and is better suited to a longer term project. In my opinion, the priorities for the first day are food, water and shelter, and the green barn or one of the ranger towers are ideal locations to spend your first couple of nights in, until you can get a vehicle sorted. :)
I hope the Dev gets this game how it should be, his Progress Updates are so cool i hope it will be as cool as it is in the Trailers on RUclips. This game has so much Potential because its not like every other Survival Game.

you didnt tell people about the 357 magnum in safe under counter and about how you can catch the chickens and build chicken coop and name them toget eggs and feathers . how did you get that cheat menu to come up that is usefull if save gets messed up in order to get back to where we was
The in game menu is accessed by clicking the '+' on the keyboard 3 times!

My map am playing on is different, you think developer working on other side of map so he just block the cave leading to other area.

The map I'm playing in 0.6.1 is also different unfortunately
Have you still got that first based you built in that town or did you end up deleting it?
I ended up deleting it unfortunately, I didn't have enough "New Save" slots left lol
Did you, aww it was such a good base lol but fair enough, plus be good to start fresh with the new updates or focus on your tree house base.
@@GamingJustGotReal yes sir, I'm super excited for the next Mist update. It just sucks that the next update is going to remove all of our current progress.
Oh what?! That kind of sucks. Feel sorry for those that have spent a lot of time on their base. That'll be annoying. Do you know how many are working on this game?
@@GamingJustGotReal there's only one that I'm aware of, and his name is rati. So far, for one developer he's done almost as good as a AAA studio lol.
