I like this game. It is better than I thought it would be. I like that you can build and decorate. And it is a neat looking village. 💐
It looks like you ONLY get the bonus money if you make items yourself. Considering that ONE full bonus = a worker's salary, it may be better (once your shop gets bigger) to hire assistants to move items around and then mostly do the crafting yourself. Or at least have enough work stations that you can work alongside the blacksmiths that you hire.
Depends on whether you like playing a management style game or a play the mini games yourself kinda game. I prefer the former, so i usually step back from manual crafting as soon as I get an automation option. The rewards later get big enough that I don't think it makes a huge difference.
Also, it would be harder to play at max speed if I was doing my own work, so everything around me would be going at half the speed, going at double speed may make up for the loss of extra coin in terms of coin per minute of my playtime.
Added to my steam wish list. I am interested in seeing how much effect the lay out of the stations has.
What is the literal meaning of tomahawk?
The word comes from the Virginia Algonquin tamahaac, "what is used in cutting," and tamaham, "he cuts." Definitions of tomahawk. noun. weapon consisting of a fighting ax; used by Northern native Americans.
Not trying to be a negative sap, just found it odd they called the axe a tomahawk in the first quest.
For a demo it has good replay as you keep wanting to get the better layout and more productivity lol

Out of curiosity, I'm wondering if you NEED walls? Can you setup and operate your crafting stations out in the back yard? Can you put racks and storage outdoors? Hmmmm....
I reckon you probably could, those half walls look like they would make a nice yard fence. But I am not sure how that would affect a second floor once the full game comes out and you are allowed to build stairs.
i use the half walls inside so segregate areas, the upper wall only makes a nice place to put the cashiers desk under, so it looks like they are sealed off for security

mr biggest gripe is it constantly tells you you havent got a map quest selected, but not htat your shop has run out off or is getting low on items, so when you switch to building up stocvk you constantly havbe the mesage that you have no map quest selected or that you have no one to fulfill it, but zero if its the other way around, thats needs addressing in the fullgame as the shop provided the basic money and the map quests the booster, if you try just for the map quests they can take a couple of in game days which with the wages and buying wood can wipe out your cash
