You should put the plug on the outside corner, no one would never know. Looks like shit in the wall.

We always put the 4 inch peice on the outside of the corner. Looks better and makes for a stronger corner.

Isnt it proper to have a line for each course?

I really appreciate you showing how to span ODD distances between blocks. You merely cut one block to span . In one instance, it looks like you had to span only 3 inches. GREAT help to me.

That foundation is falling apart and there is supposed to be rebar. It will all crumble

Nice video. How does that foundation stand up to water? Do you just trust the water will seep away and deep into the sand?

Thanks for the video , I have a question , why peoples in the US don’t use these blocks to build fences around the houses ? At a $1 a block it shouldn’t be that much , I only see wood fences everywhere it’s so ugly . I am from Africa and all houses there have real walls around and they look so nice and give privacy

What do you do to deal with freezing? or should I say, is it okay to lay as long as temps are above a certain limit?
    Great video....

Hi we bought a house with a basement walkout made of cinder blocks. We noticed with heavy rains water penetrates through the cinder which causes flooding since the drain doesn't drain fast enough. I did research and I think that it's called pinholes leakage. What should be done? Is there patchwork i can do or does the whole wall and stairs have to be redone. Thanks again.

@@fashiononabudget7771 If you had listen to the statement at beginning of the video you would have heard the comment "this is not how we do it in the Caribbean",in the Caribbean they don't use story poles or profiles, any unevenness at the top of the wall would be covered by a bond beam or belting because they don't have basements.

A straight joint on his first course on the corner cuts in middle of the wall does not know how to chase the bond through to avoid having cuts on the wall cowboy not a trained mason
