I have the MX keys one. I got it for like $60 at walmart lol. I game with it actually. My WASD keys are starting to get worn though, after 5 years of use Its crazy how expensive the MX keys is now. WOW
Thank you for doing this comparison as it shows with Logitech, go big or you end up with a less than stellar experience. I chose wrongly when selecting the Wave Keys when I should have gone with the Ergo K860. Would be nice if Logitech came out with more ergonomic keyboard selections. One that really matches to the MX Keys lineup with a full size and compact version.
For games, Did you experience any delay!? Did you already use mx keys or k950 in games!? Can you share your feelings in game!? Thank you for review. Its awesome.
Thanks for this! It looks like the MK950 isn't available in the US market, but I do see it showing up in several international markets (based on looking at Logitech's website for different countries). Very interesting since in some markets I see the MK950 but not the MK955. I wonder why they have discrepancies like this. This was super timely as I've just added a correction to a video I'm publishing this week based on your comment. Appreciate you pointing this out.
@@CameronDoughertyTech I'm glad that I could be of help to you. And thanks for your great review! I also can't find it in the US so now I'm considering to order the regular M750 mouse only but I can't find that also, this is really frustrating... Logitech website only lists the AI edition which I don't prefer... why the need for that ugly green button if the AI feature is purely software enabled! It's just hyped up useless marketing... Unfortunately the large mouse is a bit too large for me, I don't like to rest my palm on it and only use my fingertips.
Great review. I had such high hopes for the slim keyboard but went to a local store to test it and unfortunately I wasn't a fan. I have done some reading about the keychron b6 pro but there are very little reviews online and I cant physically touch one in my area. If you were to compare the keychron b6 pro to the slim k950 would you prefer the keychron? What about comparing it to the mx keys? I think you said you plan on reviewing the keychron but in the meantime could you briefly share your opinion. Thanks in advance
My video comes out tomorrow morning! My preference goes MX Keys, then the Keychron, then the K950. If you’re talking about best value, the Keychron is pretty much impossible to beat. It’s a very solid keyboard for a sub-$50 price.
@CameronDoughertyTech Thanks so much for the reply. I look forward to watching the Keychron b6 pro review tomorrow. Can I also ask, have you ever used a Dell kb700. I was checking that out online as well, looks like a great build quality but I wish I could test the key strokes.
I think removing the backlight is not a deal breaker especially when most desktop setup has lightbar attached to the monitor. And the price of it is almost half compare to the mx keys here in Philippines.
Disappointed with Logitech of late - the keycaps on my MX Keys are already fading esp the ASD keys - the same of my previous G keyboard which was about a year. I use my keyboard daily and I type a lot as a coder. They don't have replacement keycap available to order. Going to buy a Dell keyboard and mouse combo next time (KM7321W) - got the cheaper non premium version for my other system and it looks to of better quality and way cheaper to boot. They are overrated to be honest.
I wonder if other brands also have a software like options+ . Smart actions is an amazing frature for work . I cant buy keybords besisdes Logitech because of ootions+.
After Logitech's last fiasco on floating subscription software...if you haven't seen the CEO's video, you should look it up. I love the Logitech products I've got, but there's no way I'm buying another one, until it's clearly established in the marketing practices, not promises, that there's absolutely no chance of subscription software for their products. I think it was a PR blunder, but I don't really care. They actually considered it. So they can go eat a hat until they earn back some trust. Cause that was utter BS.
The pricing action on both of them is SOOOOO poor. It's like typing on a flat wooden table with about as much travel. Do yourself a favour and buy a proper low profile mechanical keyboard like the Lofree Flow.
That is cheep looking plastiky memrane keybord. It's not worth the price of a great sunding mechanical keybord. By saying great sunding, great quality mechjanical keybord i don't mean Logitech's mechanical keybords at all :D
A and the property key unusual location sucks when used with excel. Avoid for serious work. Better get the real king of keyboards, filco from Japanese masters. Wired and wireless connection.superb configuration, that makes this mx keys feels like crap
Mx keys i own is disgustingly bad in 2ways. Any moisture on the very thin key caps disintegrates them. The keyboard is then lost. Second it doesn’t have space between the f keys
Thanks for the review. In Brasil, K950 is more like 50% the price of MX Keys, so I'll probably go with K950.
Interesting, thanks for sharing! At half the price, I think K950 is the right choice.
@@CameronDoughertyTech I came here for the exacly same reason
I bought MX keys before they launched the K950 😭😂
Im here for the same reason 😂😢
Thank you for this review and comparison of both keyboards. Well thought and informative, not just for views and likes. Keep it up!🙌🏼
Thank you for this review! I was looking everywhere trying to figure out the incline of the MX keys. The visual comparison was so helpful
Dude, great review. I was trying to decide between K950 x MX Keys. Thanks for that!

IMO the proximity sensor + backlit keys make the MX keys the undisputed king of keyboards.
Thanks! Super usefull!

FYI, the MK950 combo includes the standard M750 (for small hands), the MK955 includes the M750 for Large Hands.

Is there also an alternative version to the Mini?
How does the K950 compare to the K780? Both have no backlight and have batteries and 3-device capability.
Vastly different key layout and key shape.

K950 is really nice.

Non rechargeable battery is a deal breaker for me !
I don’t like using batteries so I’ll keep using the mx keys
I don't like keyboards with feet coz thats the first one tear off. MX keys is more premium looking.
Just buy the MX Keys Mini.

Oversized escape is also sucks
