Schenker Brothers......Enough Said!
The reunion of micheal schenker and uli roth with the scorpions for a number of gigs,to me was a dream come true,i was lucky enough to see one of these reunion gigs and was blown away by the sheer excellence of the guitar playing by micheal uli mathias and rudy, this was a very big event for me and will stay with me for a very long time.
they did Doctor Doctor for an Encore when I saw them fucking awesome
This video is a joke. Not once did it show MICHAEL SCHENKER playing
Man, that classic power ending! Reminds me of better days...blasting Scorps in my '77 Olds Cutlass in Summer. Good times!
Hell yeah bro!
It´s amazing that Klaus´ voice is a good as it was in the 80´s.....and sometimes it´s even better.....just fantastic vocal he´s got! :D
When you want to Rock...This is the Song !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Perfect version of this classic song. Like the thumping bass-some kid next to my car listening to some rap rubbish and I’m about to turn this up n blow his car windows out🤘
Lovedrive one of my Fav Scorpions albums you can Feel The Michael influence throughout the album.
Now they completely separated
Best live performance of Love Drive right here, the guitars and vocals were spot on that night !
Need more Schenker bros. 🔥
Scoepions which i experienced live three times in the 80 's. Unfortunately i never listened the 70,s line up live. They were tighte liver the any of the bands during that era..
This sounds so so good live. Great clip, great song. I remember seeing them in 1987 at Irvine Meadows Amp and the crowd rushed over the gates and jammed like 80% of the audience into the orchestra. Crazy
I agree with you! alot of people didn't know Michael was going through some heavy personal shit at this time, when Michael is in top form he just erupts like a volcano,I have been following Michael's life for a very long time,& seen the UFO days ,the MSG days ,am reprising all the vids with full screen & hopefully better sound!!
Michael not his best here but it was because of his personal problems (this is an old year) but now he is is on top !!
I posted most Lights out vids versions!
Man! I too have been a schenker fan for a long time, my brother and I used to play doctor doctor in the 70's. GOOD TIMES!
The guitar tone is just killer...
Two of the best ever Metal/ Hard Rock soloists ( Michael Schenker and Matthias Jabs) and one of the very best rhythm guitarists ( Rudy Schenker) on stage here.
Seen them five times...loved their shows...that's why I kept going back!
They always gave it everything they had ....what a work ethic!
Scorpions immer noch Top
Michael playing with his Trickster Brother Rudolph! Ha!!
I loveeeee Schenker!!! UFO forever!!
Such a pinnacle song in their career! Excellent performance!!! Hell yeah Scorps!! They all sound fantastic. Klaus is singing just like the recording from 79. What a king!
Such an amazing guitar trio!!!
Another great Michael schenker song!!!!
the drinking it is true that has been part of his life just like for other humans that are not even Rock stars & I'm sure you haven't even read the new reviews of his comeback,he is back & on top of his game & hopefully things stay that way he deserves all the glory more than others that have achieved less & not 'cause I'm a fan but because these are facts not just rumors,I saw him perform in concert & not just rumors!
Lovedrive was the first 'metal' album I bought - still sounds great today.
love,'Love Drive'....cool treat to see the Scorps do it with dueling Schenker brothers !
THE POWER AND THE GLORY OLD SCHOOL SCORPS N THE SCHENKER BROTHERS
Klaus.... fkn unbelievable
Man I would give my left leg to see this live. Too band I was 4 years old.
Saw MSG in July of 2010 at Rock n America. My take is this. EVERY Guitar Player from EVERY Band at that show was on Stage Right watching his performance-EVERY Guitar Player from EVERY Band! Why? Maybe they were watching what THEY wanna be!
@AXEFLYERFV
That is so true. Michael ws still on and off the wagon in 2006, he is now healthy and is off the charts great.
My jam! In my day growing up! Oh, still is!👌🏻
Need one more guitar, I have a quadrophonic sound system!! Thanks for the shiver fest, right up to the top of my neck.
I just got the original promo single :)
I saw Michael when he played awfull and I saw him last year when he was über! When he tours again, I'll be there!
Always have been my favorite band! Their lyrics have stood the test of time!
Herman plays on 1 or 2 songs here & Francis toured with Uli in 2006!
Stumbled on this....💯👊👊👊❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🤟
wooooo! They sound good. Wow! just as powerful as ever.
Happy Birthday Mathias Jabs (B 25-October-1955)..62 today
That's a wonderful song! It's just great seeing Michael with the Scorps again!
GUITAR attack ,Mike is so cool, need2 hear him & jabbs duel!!
This is Scorpions!!
Scorps are with Franzis and Hermann, to be correct.
@@wolfgangmarkusgstrein8522 and don't forget the great Jurgen Rosenthal also. Drums on the classic album Fly to the rainbow.
I appreciate all of the Scorpions lineup
Aprendi à gostar de rok pesado.E os meninos do Scorpions são um espetáculo!
Love Scorp's!! Clicked on this to start my day and got Blown Away! Check out that Metal Lineup of Powerblast Righteous Rock Energy Ya-a-a-a--a-ah!!!
Three badass guitarists. \m/\m/
Amen to that!
I was already pretty sure of that. I'm talking about video production crews who aren't familiar with the material and the people involved (ex: solo starts about 3:30, and they focus on every member of the band except the one soloing, who happens to be the special guest on stage).
Great! Love drive is a great album!!!
its so amazing there still playing so powerful.
legendary vocals!
michael schenker lookes the same as he was looking at the 90's and + he is sober he is the best and my favorite i thank iron maiden that i know him because of them
Got to see these guys
Got to meet them
A great night.
And yes Klaus is very short
Great!
I wish that camera crew would stay still for a few moments! Michael tore it up!
Awesome footage, if this doesn't get the rock buds watering nothing will!!! But Michael oh Michael, thought he was going to fluff it right at the start of the solo, just rescued it... great video and what a difference the stereo option made... cheers Axe
How does a soundman mix that much badass on stage?
so heavy!! best version
Damn, the master is flying on the neck and the cameraman missed it!!!
Epic! Legends!
Boa Noite gostei do seu canal
I wish they played with michael in Holland on there last tour.
best arena rock band ever.
Thank you for you input brother!!
Thnx for the info,I've started adding it but since I have so many it's taking a while, thnx again!
What this song needs is more Tamborine! I just gotta get some more Tamborine!
this is the best band of all time if you agree send somthing , if you disagree dont waste your time time or mine
Super, super ever! :)))))
Back when they cared about each other instead of money
Wow
Świetna muza!!!!
Not many people know that, although Matthias Jabs had already been hired by the Scorps to replace Uli Jon Roth, Michael was brought in to record on the "Lovedrive" album. I believe that he played on "Lovedrive", "Coast to Coast", the intro to "Holiday" and "Another Piece of Meat" and then showed Matthias how to play the parts the he (Michael) had recorded.
JokersWild45 he played on five songs love drive album.
Michael Schenker: definitely one of the greats. What a blistering solo. Watching he and his brother out of sync in their movements at 4:30 pretty much sums up their relationship too, lol.
This is all true. Good man for sharing.
And the solo on Loving You Sunday Morning
@@JokersWild70 very good estimation. You could feel that bad vibe the way the song was played.
Slowed the tempo so the old brother could keep up.
I had a younger brother. I used to take advantage of him.
Why do siblings do this to each other ?
I don't like it.
The guy with doo-rag on head and explorer guitar is "Mathias Jabs"..... Not Michael.
Bad-ass.
not seen here whoever did such great engineering/sound.recording.
Paweł Mąciwoda on the bass guitar!!!!
Scorpions dont stop the metal make an encore!!!!
OMG, you guys are right. MS is soloing and the camera work is on Rudolph and Matthias playing rhythm and TAMBOURINE!!! LOL
Magnus Berkzerkerson Michael Schenker is the best Lead guitar for Scorpion
that's cause they're jealous of Michael
lol Matthias is so cool he's never said something bad about Uli...he would be crazy if this really happened!!
Axe, thanks for your constant flow of wonderful uploads. Have a great Christmas mate!
@jericjose08 Your crazy...his voice is as powerful as anytime I've seen them. All singers back off a little when touring night after night. It doesn't matter how old he is. Your only saying it because you know he has been around for a long time.
They're tuning down a half step 🎸
It kills me how video producers never know who the hell is soloing. Great video anyway...
SCORPS!
Awesome Combination !!! Lovedrive and Animal Magnetism are Great albums both of Them !!! Salud y Vida Pa'lante !!! Cheers and Life On !!!
cool man, sometimes I jump the gun & forgive for that, but I understand your previous reply!!
peace bro & thank you again for keeping track of my uploads!!
@e1alex Fue en Alemania Wacken,
I saw M.S. just 2 nights ago in Portland Ore. He his quite better that he didn't get credited for his work on Lovedrive.
Great seeing both of the Schenker brothers jammin' it hard. But Michael's solo sounded like it was out of key.
lovedrive la mejor de la mejor banda de el mundo
@tasinhoschenker Got to love Matthias!!!!!!!!!!!!
@AXEFLYERFV Thanks a lot, man!
@AXEFLYERFV ahh, he puesto nuevas noticias en mi pagina del nuevo Grupo Projecto de Michael Schenker estos son los musicos:
Michael Schenker: Lead Guitar
Herman Rarebell: Drums
Pete Way: Bass
Michael Voss: Vocals
Elliott Rubinson: Bass
Wayne Findlay: Keyboards/Guitar
@loscoverdelavilla Perdon, dejemoslo ahi entonces!!
James Kottak is pretty good behind the drum kit. I will probably always miss Herman Rarebell, but James does give the show some flavor with the stick spins and all that.
The super high-elevated drum platform, the big double kick kit with a single rack tom. He seems even more so on their 2012 Wacken appearance, with all the tattoos and the bleached blonde hair he has going on.
But very much a beast on the kit and also kinda has the whole hair metal thing working for him, even in 2012. Go figure.
It is very cool to see Michael Schenker playing with the Scorpions live again. But he keeps himself so hidden behind the hat and the facial hair and the sunglasses. Almost doesn't even look like him. Rudy almost looks more like Michael than Michael.
And though Rudy is known more for his rhythm guitar, one almost forgets that he's not too slouchy on some of those leads on his Flying V. Very cool.
toddvandell85
Kottack just butchers the classic songs that Herman played on. His sloppy playing ruins it for me, and songs like Piece of Meat, The Zoo, Coast to Coast, etc. lose their heaviness and tightness with Kottack.
Herman knew what to play to fit into and compliment the song, whereas Kottack just seems to play whatever.
I do however, think Kottack's drumming on the albums he's on are pretty good because he keeps it simple and doesn't overplay them.
Mr. K Dilkington I think it's a matter of taste.
Kottack is more of a show-off, he plays more beats per minute, and he use double pedal. Herman is, compared to Kottack, a more simple drummer, who focuses more on been tight, and fit into the music.
I must say I like both drummers a lot, and I think they are too different to compare ;)
Mickey Holm What is interesting is that according to Herman, he was left with the responsibility of finding a replacement drummer when he left the Scorpions, and he chose Kottack because he thought they had similar playing styles.
I agree. It is a matter of taste. I always liked Herman's drumming, but there have been many times listening to the older Scorpions tracks where I wished the drums had been a bit more exciting/less basic?
But, full disclosure here, I'm a drummer myself and it can be much too easy to get lost behind the kit.
Sometimes, one's fellow bandmates tended to prefer that (the staying hidden behind the drumkit thing). Admittedly it has been a bit since I played w/any regularity, but still.
But I have always admired drummers who not only play well, but put on a show while they do so. James does that, whereas I don't think Herman really did.
I think Tommy Aldridge may have been one of the first drummers I can remember being as much of a showman as he was/is a drummer. And that goes back to his days with Black Oak Arkansas, early 70's, even before his extended stint with Pat Travers.
I remember vividly B.O.A.'s appearance on Don Kirschner's Rock Concert. Tommy played a pretty badass solo, first with sticks and stick spins, then he chucked the sticks into the crowd and played the rest of the solo with bare hands.
That, to me, just seemed crazy, but Tommy made it work. And he finished by bashing one of his crashes so hard, it fell over onto the stage.
Oddly enough, when the band returned, none of them could be bothered to pick it up. They just hopped over it like it happened all the time and went back to rocking. Not even sure there was a drum tech to right the fallen cymbal.
But, here's the thing: it's 2015. I think that concert was in 71 or 72, maybe earlier. That's 40+ years ago, now, and I remember like it was yesterday. Because the showmanship stuck with me, in addition to Tommy's amazing drumming.
(And he's a better drummer than some give him credit for. If it were just the show, maybe they'd have a point.
But he's gifted with double kick and he can get a funky groove on as well.
Pat Travers's album "Crash And Burn" gave Tommy a chance or two to get funky, and Tommy showed he can play in the pocket.)
Anyway. Before I veer too far off topic, since this was about James Kottak/Herman Rarebell; my point is simply this: I can appreciate underplaying vs overplaying sometimes.
But, I definitely appreciate, and remember, drum solos and drum playing where there was something of a show involved, too.
And, say what you will about his drum skills, Kottak definitely puts on a show.
Far more memorable than without one, regardless how one feels about his drum playing abilities.
(And I saw Buddy Rich play live, too, way back when, speaking of aging myself.
Buddy put on a pretty good show himself and was no slouch behind the kit, for all of that.)
Perfect performance
@loscoverdelavilla El bajo se escucha muy bien, seran tus Speakers?

@413Kristianna Right on ,Thnx for watching & comment my friend!
@tasinhoschenker
Matthias and Uli are friends....in the new guitarplayer mag Matthias is asked if upcoming shows will feature Uli and Michael. His reply is 'absolutely'
\m/ Scorpions!!!! \m/
What a Class Act the Scorps are. Ulrich Roth, Herman Rarebell, Michael Schenker all brought up on Stage to play. Only Frances Bucholz was missing on this Tour...MIA?
Cary Sledge - Scorpions had a major falling out with Francis in the early 90s. Francis was heavily involved in the band’s finances and at some point around this time, testified against the band in court. He was kicked out of the band and the two parties remain on bad terms to this day. Francis has toured with Uli and with Michael Schenker, in more recent times, however.
@@crusheverything4449 Somewhere I've read Francis got the band into serious trouble with the tax investigation.
@@cumuluscloud3854 - Apparently, he testified against the rest of the band. I know Francis handled finances related to touring for the band and have read insinuations that he was ripping the band off, but we will probably never know the truth of the matter. Anyway, I think the rift between him and the rest of the guys is irreparable and that’s a real shame.
@DeadlyRamon you're welcome man!
