I think you are under the belief that the demand for Cam Johnson is super high. I think no team has offered anything really interesting so far for him because no one wants to offer the 2 first round picks the Nets want. I think if the Nets got a good return for him they would trade him now because they are still winning too many games and are too competitive. So because he's still on the team, I think teams are still worried about him just having a great season because he is the offensive focus, which will not be the situation in his next role player role. He also signed a 100 million deal so he's not super cheap (granted Caruso got a similar deal for being a lesser player)
The problem that you all arent seeing is that LA is looking for a stat to replace bron. Bron is hanging on threads. I truly believe AD days will be numbered once bron retires. So they need a star so they can regroup.
No we actually talked about that very thing. 😊 But the reality is is that you have LeBron now and need the best possible team around him and the argument can be made that depth is better to fit that cause until he leaves.
Maybe all the team who are unable to move their fringe-stars, should just swap. There are no buyers for these contracts: Zion, BI, LaVine, Butler. If there are no biters, which there has not been any, just swap unwanteds with each other. There doesn't even seem be nonsensical chatter on interest for those contracts,
The Lakers cannot possibly get any of the main names on the market. All the other buyers have more to give. LA would have to overpay to get any of them I think they should look at getting more players a tier beneath them Like instead of 3 of the players everyone is talking about maybe 5 a step below them I feel like the improvement could be about the same and the cost less
@mastadabator Some do And I don't see why the ones that might not need them wouldn't want them anyway I feel like ALL the other buyers want to get better That is literally what makes them buyers!
@ nope. Fox isn’t a facilitator nor a great pick n roll distributor. Straight downhill. His style clashes with Wemby. They already have castle who they’re high on as a future lead guard
If Wemvy likes spacing out for 3s Fox getting downhill woukd be a great pairing. Now if Wemby wants to dominate the paint then get him a passer and shooter@@zj8478
@@TheBasketballBulletin That's what I said Not a fit I want though I hate SA almost as much as Boston. It kills me that Wemby is being wasted there (even if he wins rings it is a waste) But I predicted that was where he would go the second he came on the scene. A more obvious chest than Ewing to NY It just blows my mind that nobody else sees this
Yo, DFree... not all "depth" is created equal, & the Lakers' so-called "depth" is one of the worst in the league! Upgrading the Lakers depth is like putting lipstick on a pig... that being said, they can improve their depth by moving AR & Rui to the bench & Upgrading the starting unit...
@TheBasketballBulleti I understand injuries have played a part, but I've seen this movie b4 w Vando & Wood... they move the Lakers ceiling from 1st rd loss to 2nd round loss. The Lakers are starting 3 players that would come off the bench on legit contenders.... Upgrade the starters with Vuj(can be had for a ham sandwich) Sexton & DFS, & move Rui, AR & Max to the bench. This would move the Lakers into the teir below OKC & give them a shot at getting back to the WCFs... & a Longshot to the Finals

What about Lakers just go for Sexton and Jonas?
PIECES OVER STAR PLAYERS, UNTIL LBJ LEAVES
Damn there’s a lot of commercials on this vid lol
Nice new intro

Has he even played this year?
@blablablaa14 No but everybody keeps bringing up Bruce Brown. Screw that

i doubt sabonis wants to be on the same team as draymond after he got his chest stomped by him.
The Lakers have nothing to offer at all for Fox. The Kings don’t even answer their phone call.

Which team clamors for Fox? OKC? Houston? GSW?
Houston has the best package for fox but the lakers adding fox turns them into immediate contenders.
Fox and Wemby aren’t a great fit
I think Fox and Wemby would be great together

OKC has like 20 first rounders, lakers are getting the leftovers and they have nothing to give it’s over. No one wants 70 percent of Lakers players.
OKC clamors for Fox?
Yeah but if that was the argument they'd always be the top landing spa for every single player on the market right?
Fox is selfish, uncaring and over-rated. He'd fit right in on the Lakers.
Fair point
🤣 might wanna rewatch some tape
What are you basing that notion on, I assume you aren't keeping up with the team

They can also do that by getting new better players in like the ones in that trade
Also the Lakers would have better depth if their guys could be healthy. Wood and Vando are supposed to be huge parts of their rotation.

Reaves is a lifer
I say while othef teams are focused on fox lakers scoop up high level rome players hopefully cheaper
That could be a good strategy
Lavine does same thing fox can do without giving up any real assets
Kinda?
Hell nah Fox is way more elite he is a number one option. Lavine is a 3rd option who plays off the ball.
Can we bring that other dude back? This guy isn’t bad but the other dude was better.
