Saturn, she was trully my second favorite senshi, Pluto being the first, but Saturn is a true pure second, her character is so dark and beautiful, but she isn't bad kind of darkness just a pure shadow filled one.
EXACTLY, Hotaru-chan is the definitive goth character in anime. Able to see the darkness of the world and understand it's beauty. Pluto as well since she must observe time without interacting with her fellow sailor guardians. A solitary calmness that leads to understanding the darkness of life. Both the same situations but different aspects reaching the same conclusion.
I was moved almost to tears by the lyrics of "Angel of Darkness". Saturn is the Outer Senshi who tackles the tough jobs & villains even after her teammates' efforts have failed. I see "destruction & rebirth" as meaning: her vanquishing anyone diabolical, using her shadow side to her advantage, so that humanity may have a chance at development, and to exist. Hotaru/Saturn is my second favourite Sailor Scout after Venus. Love you, Saturn! 😻😽♑♑♑💜💜💜🇬🇧🐨
i think that she has the fewest appearances because her powers aren't needed as often. very few times do they face a challenge so grim that they have to call upon the powers of death to save them. but i do agree- saturn deserved more screentime.
Oh, I remember watching this amv when Fireemblem had a youtube account. She got it from somebody who actually drew it and animated it using a program like Flash. (One of my friends can do stuff like that too)

@LeoOfDreams She doesn't appear until abouttt halfway through the season because there are so many filler episodes before they figure out who they're truly fighting. That's fine. But just from that season that's the most we see of her. She's barely shown in Stars after the first arc. Compare that with anyone else, she's not given as much of a spotlight. Sailor Pluto as well
