I picked up a co worker of my sister's at Norfolk airport last night. They asked about gas prices and mentioned the high California prices, and since I'm from California we quickly figured out from the same town, and she's a nurse who's worked with my sister for years. You've inspired me to give up eats and do rideshare instead. I had a great weekend and already a small world encounter.
The convention was at the Rio. I am guessing they were all going to the Millennium Fan bar after the convention closed for the evening. I have delivered to that building before.
Keep pumping out the great content! I almost felt attacked when you said a bunch of nerds were at a convention, but then I realized you said Star Trek and not Star Wars. Star Trek fans are definitely nerds! Hahaha jk!
Just letting you know that trip radar trips that pop up and you click on it the driver that gets the normal request card does has a chance to take the trip if he or she doesn't take the trip and no one else doesn't click on there trip radar you will get that trip hopefully that helps
Hey blake love ur vids. Im a uber/lyft driver at vegas too and I was wondering and asking all the uber drivers if you guys been getting any surges recently on uber? This really sucks because it looks like they cut out surges on uber and it no longer shows the hot spots
I actually haven't driven in 2 weeks because I've been sick but I did hear that Uber was going to end it out here, unfortunately. They might bring it back you never know.
@@BlakeDrives cant believe they r doing that. Ive been getting crappy rides on peak hours for like $6-7 when it used to be $10-15 on the strip for short rides. I see that u accept even the long rides for $15. It used to be $15 for a short ride during surge on the strip. Thats y im so pissed off
Hi Blake! Love your content! Looking to get started doing Uber in Vegas soon. Have a couple questions. 1. How long does it take to get approved for the NV Business license? 2. Any must have items I need before I start? (Phones mounts, dash cams, powers banks or chargers for the phone) Thanks in advance.
Thanks Hector! I’m glad you’re enjoying the content! 1. The Nevada business license is instant as soon as you make the payment it’s emailed to you. 2. Two must haves in my opinion is a phone mount if you don’t already have one. And a multi-charging cable, only because a lot of people ask to charge their phones.
Hi, I am a new driver in Las Vegas and when I went to the airport it keep telling me to go to the holding area?? Where is that exactly and any advice for airport pickups?
It's probably called staging area or tmp staging area by the airport you are at you touch that icon and hit navigate it will take you there also it shows how many cars are waiting as well
Yeah, I guess it just depends on the area and peoples preferences. I worked Monday night and I was getting a lot more Lyft rides. That’s kind of why I like running to absent the same time because you never know which one’s gonna be busier than the other.
how come you say no to $4 rides when you only need to do 1.2-1.7 miles, seems like quick and easy job compared to doing 9 miles for $12.50. dollars per mile is more than double doing the shorter ride. Maybe reading the app wrong
A lot of the shorter rides sound appealing, but with the traffic on the strip and stoplights that take forever a lot of time is it can take up to 20 to 30 minutes for a short ride. I just prefer longer trips one of these days. Maybe I’ll do a video of just doing Las Vegas strip rides.

That’s awesome Scotty! I’m signed up for that, but still haven’t received an order for it.
@@BlakeDrives Thanks for the tips... What Apps are you using?
@@scottyWinsVegas right now I’m just using Uber and Lyft

Still waiting for your new video
I'm doing lyft in vegas. the earnings are so bad, it's not worth driving.
You can try doing Uber too as well I drive both Uber and lyft
does the UBER gps ever steer you wrong?or what happens if you know and take a better way other than what the app says?
I bet those high density story apartment buildings have super thin walls.
Driving around the strip with all the F1 BS must be a headache right now.
The real headache is that they started paving Las Vegas Blvd. and they only have one lane open lol 😂
First to comment again. Thanks for the ride along.
For my area it seems that lyft is more busy these days and paying better than uber, what do you think?

im starting uber next week in las vegas
Do u use a passenger cam for protection?
Yes, I'm using the Vantrue E3 Dash Cam: amzn.to/3qr069V
Oh ok. Thanks for answering
Curious what kind of online buisness u doing
I’m selling private label products through Amazon Fba. I’m currently sold out of products and debating whether to continue with it.
Let’s get it

Yup! A 4 dollar ride could take 20 plus minutes on the strip
