Hey Chris, I am starting this fall and would like to know how was CP? I am interested in taking it up this fall, Do you think it can be paired with KBAI? Or just take CP in first sem? I have a software engineer background with more exposure to Java and Javascript than Python. Which all courses have you taken so far?
CP was decently hard and pretty time consuming. I would not recommend doing 2 courses for your first semester, especially if you are not well versed in python. Both of those courses are entirely python. It will take you some time just learning to get used to the GT environment (how to submit hws, take tests, etc.). The only way I would say 2 courses within your first semester is if you feel VERY confident in your programming skills, you are at least decent with python, you know how to use other software's like git, ssh, etc., and if you plan on spending FULL TIME on school, meaning no job, big family things, etc.

Dear Chris, I finished the CS 7646 Machine learning for Trading course well. My final grade is 84.1% and I am not sure that I can get A. But I don't care about my letter grade. My background was not CS, and I did my best. By the way, I would like to take one of the courses - CS6475 CP, CS 6515 Intro to Grad Algorithms, or ISYE Bayesian statistics. My undergraduate major was mathematics and statistics and my first Master's major is Electrical Engineering. If you are possible, could you recommend me a class for the second semester?
out of those three, the only one I have taken is CS6475-CP, here is my review for it ruclips.net/video/ob1kSNGmv48/видео.html I enjoyed CP but it is a lot of work, so just be prepared.
