The hardest part of doomsday is getting your 25.5 guitar into the tuning xD
Yes :D 25.5 is impossibile I guess, it’s difficult even for this 29
I'm deadass playing it on a Schecter with mini-humbuckers
The main riff is so fun to play
And your tab fucking rocks
Thank you ^_^
I think11-62 gauge is best for me
@@gunslingerzmusic could be worse, i tried it on a 22.5
Sure feels good to have the extra inch😁
When you think drop A is too low, here come the Architects...
wait until you see invent animate
Then Babymetal bring out the 9 string
Just a little FYI...some jerk stole all the dots off of your fretboard.
ima learn this on my acoustic guitar
That weird little hammer on riff after the chorus is the hardest part for me for some reason. Getting the rhythm is just weird because you are fretting again with the finger you just used and it is like circular but just hard for some reason haha. Thanks for the tabs, I freaking love this song and that main riff is iconic!
talking about 1:44?
You're a hero for posting screen tabs man!
Best tab I've found, thanks heaps man
Amazing man❤️
Perfect playing, well done
Really good job ! I'm so happy that you did this video it's really cool you did the best one on youtube for this song. Your guitar is so cool too. Really really good joobbbbbbbbbb :))
Thanks, just getting back into guitar, looks like a fair start
Same
The most Awesome guitar playthrough with easy to understand tabs. Your the best bro.😊
Nice Work Dude! Thanks!
Love it! 💯
wow nice cover ! I never thought I'd see a MMM1 model ever again, never been a huge Staind fan but this guitar is something special
Grandissimo Claude! \m/
so sick
Thankyou for teaching me this ❤
Love the guitar❤
Good job🎸🎸🎸
Nice playing 👌
❤ the main riff
Your a fucking legend for putting up tabs for this! nice one m8🤘🤘
the first time i tried playing THE riff i was doing hammer ons like this. Then for some reason i thought "why don't i work harder?" picking down up down on each string and then even trying alternate picking and that shit is fucking hard!
Thank you for showing me i was right to play with less effort!
Thanks for this one you legend. Any chance of a black blood or broken cross cover next? 🧐
will see what I can do :P I was thinking about hereafter or royal beggars from holy hell
Отличный кавер! Great cover! Can you play any of Heart of a coward? For instance Monstro
Good content
I don't know if my guitar could resist that tone :(
Loving the psychedelic string blur effect :)
Very good and also sick beard.
Thanks bro!
Release more content dude, just getting back into guitar - thinking of getting a EST LTD MH400B 🤘🤘🤘
Update: got a LTD 400NT
Mostly got this down but my picking is in need of much improvement
Great! I got the mh400b a couple of months ago and it’s killer!
I'm too tired to reset the tuning of my guitar for each song like that :(
I will stick to listening :P ..Is that a baritone guitar?
Amazing job man.
Do you have the Kemper file you use for this? I love the sound!
He might have them in his shop?
www.joshmiddleton.com/shop/
Can you give a general pedal setup for this? Amazing video, btw!
Hi, i use a Kemper with a 5150 profile and nothing else!
@@gunslingerzmusic Awesome, man! Thanks!
@@gunslingerzmusic nicee that's true i have this tone too with helix lt 5150 and an ibanez tube screamer
I'm not getting how to tune my Benton Baritone...its a 30" scale so should be plenty, but this tunning is weird and way too low even for that guitar, or am I supposed to tune up to C# (Dbl Drop F#) so confused...
hi man very nice.. what’s tab app did you using on this video?
Thanks! I just screenshot guitar pro while it’s playing!
@@gunslingerzmusic the software is free?
hey dude do you think i can play this on drop f# or i will need to tuning it like them?
You can play it on a 7 string in Drop F#, you just have to ignore the 6th string
What strings would folk recommend for this tuning?
on my 7 strings guitar i use cauge 12-56 in first six strings in drop B , and onther one 0.70 ON F#, basically the same tuning, only dont use de sixth string, Marc okubo of Veil of Maya use the same cauge for this tuning in 7 strings
Ernieball baritone 2839 slinky
COOL!
but the tab differs a little bit from the original
it's not the first 3 notes as 0-10-12 on the 6th string, it's the first two 0-10 on the 6th string and the 3rd note is 12 on the 5th string
what strigs guage do you use?
this was a Ernieball baritone 12/72 pack
So should the 2 low strings sound basically the same ?
same note but different octave
Hey dude can you please let me know how to add tabs in the video like you do
hi! I just screenshot guitar pro while it's running the song lol
and then chroma key the background of the tabs into a green screen edit
With that beard i automaticaly thinks that you had static x vocalist hair ✌🏼
Are you tapping the main riff after plucking the first note?
Yeah he's doing hammer ons, it's the best way to play it cleanly, watch his right hand, your eyes and ears can tell you a lot, it just takes time and practice to get that skill down
Digginday
what gauge of strings are you using for this tuning?
Ernieball baritone 13/72
What’s the tuning
how to tune guitar that low and that the strings dont sag?
This is a baritone, it has a 28 inch scale length
get thicker strings bro
29 inch baritone guitar and fat strings ;)
What's the tuning?
Is this tab/tuning in F# standard or drop F# tuning?
You can tell is it’s standard tuning if the high and low E strings are the same letter in tuning.
I.E. standard E tuning both are tuned in E
Same goes for standard D and Standard C.
But I’m not 100% sure for extended frequency guitars (7 string, 8 string guitars).
is basically a drop b tuning but the low b is replace by low f#
Very similar tuning Wes Borland from Limp Bizkit used on some of their earlier tracks, believe it or not...Nookie being the most prominent example.
This song was almost singlehandedly responsible for bringing this subset/style of metalcore to the forefront.
Doesnt that song just use a normal drop tuning
What’s your string gauge?
For this tuning I used 068w 046w 036w 026w 017 013
@@WindRoseOfficial no low F# intonation issues?
@@chadmarx7718 intonation nope, the only problem with intonation was that the string was so loose i could't press it so much otherwise i got almost a note bending
Can anyone transpose this for banjo? 😂
Oddly enough, I can kinda hear that working.
Amish dude can shred
how the fuck do i get my 11s on my 25 scale down to F#??!!!! grrr i just wanna play!!
Actually I am not sure that is completely accurate???
neither am I lol
I have never seen sasquatch play like this! Amazing squatchy! LOL JK! AMAZING JOB DUDE THANKS FOR THE TABS!
I'll just tune to drop F# and skip the 2nd string
your off a tiny in the main riff..... the first 2 notes are what you have, 0 and 10, but the 12 and rest of the riff gets played on the 5th string with a bunch pulloffs
just constructive criticism
heres my reference, watch his fingers:
ruclips.net/video/hCvPXYs-qDs/видео.html
change the playback speed to like 0.25% and youll see it
Easy to listen but hard to play
This tuning is so wack, just gonna adapt this to 8 string to make my life a little easier
I cant understand why people dont use 7-string guitar.
they don't want to
What's the tuning?
Description
It's drop B (B F# B E G# C#) But with the top string down tuned to an F#
