Debra wilson is a great VA in the gaming space. Really happy to see her get bigger roles now. For reference Bricky, she is Amanda walker in the tell tale game, Harbinger in Halo infinite, Renata in LOL, and Jormag in Guild wars 2. Shes great and I love her voice work as Savathun
As someone whose always been interested in Destiny as a universe and as a story first and a game second, Witch Queen took the 6 to 7 years of "villain of the week" story and finally started hitting some damn good narrative beats. They've been doing it well since Beyond Light but goddamn, from the campaign to the lore to the damn RAID- like, i cannot stress enough, they actually made the raid story RELEVANT outside of the raid. There's plenty to say about Gambit being a shambling corpse taking up space and Void 3.0 being REAL fun but also kinda balance-breaking in some ways, but personally, now we actually have an idea of where this stupid space opera is going and a face to the big bad leading the Pyramids and Disciples, the rest is confetti. The battle lines have finally been drawn and I'm so fckin hyped for where this leads now.
I miss when D1 was about to drop and we speculated what the 4th race of enemy were gonna be ugh what a time however destiny to me at this point is like the drunk partner who abused you for years who you gave tons of chances and now that they’re finally sober you just don’t have the will to go back to them anymore ya know
@@Wonderbrut destiny rn is in such an amazing state, you should get back into it! The D1 content droughts was definitely a rough time. Even the first 2 years of destint 2 it was in a very rough and horrible state. With the release of WQ, man they did such an amazing job
They also took the time over the last year to use the Seasonal stories to actually build up for the DLC which makes this feel HUGE for those who have kept up with it. We've been dealing with Savathun's shenanigans off and on since D2 Vanilla but she stepped it up hard this last year with her fingers in every seasonal story, manipulating and toying with things behind the scenes until Season of the Lost which then runs straight into Witch Queen.
I'd love for each of them to watch each other's reviews and give their thoughts. Nothing negative, just what they agree/disagree with. I've watched both reviews now and they seem similar, if Bricky is maybe more positive than Skill UP who went into a little more depth about his concerns.
My problem with destiny is the new player experience. With Bungie killing previous content It feels like trying to watch End game without having watched any marvel movies up until that point and players should not be forced to have to watch old playthroughs or lore videos to even remotely understand what's going on and whos who.
You hit the nail in the head, specially the ps4 non plus player, its ''''free'''' , you can do at most 10% of the game, its ultimate pay to play, on a ''''free''' game, so yea new light experience is lacking
@@jeremy325 Bruh I wanted to get my sibling into the game after crossplay was added but you really need ps plus to do anything. I thought they fixed that after it went psedo-free. I immediately lost momentum and I haven't been able to get them to play ever since. Cuz why put money into such an expensive experience without being able to try it at all. Game doesn't even let you play in fireteams with friends.
Cool to see that D2 finally hit its stride. I got too frustrated with the game during beyond light's 2nd season for a bunch or reasons after years. I wont be playing that game again but glad to see the loyal players have finally gotten a quality product after what feels like too long.
Describing Savathun's voice acting as "poisonous delivery" is spot on, they really hit the nail on the head when it came to characterising how a god of lies would sound
I was unbelievably surprised he didn't mention the music. This is probably the best collection of OST released in a destiny expansion. and if you're a destiny fan, you know how astronomically fucking high of a bar that is.
A lot of people seem not to like it because it uses a lot of motifs from prior soundtracks, like the Darkness’ theme. I think that’s ridiculous though, this Ost is still great.
@@yourewrong9028 you're not wrong, but the entire point of a musical motif is that it reappears, besides there's more than enough originality in the soundtrack to offset that. Queen's deception might be my favorite Destiny track of all time, and Rhulk's theme is definitely my favorite boss theme.
The bit about re-doubling on lore exposition around 13:40-something I do agree with as someone who's really invested in the lore and knows most if not all of the little details. However have you considered the people who will run through the campaign with voice lines turned down and subtitles off that will half-watch a cutscene and then go "I don't get it"? (Looking at you Th3Jez)
You think Jez is bad with lore, look at Zanny. Love the guy, watch all his videos, but his criticism of the lore and making jokes at its expense isn’t justified when he just listens to 5% of the dialogue.
Jez plays through half of the damn game with voice off. Find him entertaining when he's not tilting off his tits, but goddamn is paying attention not his strong suit.
@@neilmcmurray4822 That Zanny video was funny until he brought in his friend and started laughing through the whole campaign and then complain about the lore. Like... I'm glad he's enjoying the experience but man that really ticked me off.

Ever since finding your channel and getting me into Warhammer 40k I’ve started a new passion project: I’m making concepts for a tabletop wargame for Destiny, with armies for each race/faction in the game. And with the New Witch Queen Expansion I’ve started working on Lucent Brood and Ikora’s Hidden army concepts. I’m so happy this game is only getting better because not only am I a fan of Destiny, but my passion project is only getting more and more ideas for Factions and mechanics. Thank you so much for introducing me to the tabletop scene, I wouldn’t be working on this without you!
That’s pretty cool. I’ve always thought about trying to make rulesets for Destiny units in 40k and/or other tabletop games, but never got around to it. On a slightly related note, guardians would beat the shit out of space marines. That is all.
@@yourewrong9028 thank you so much! Yeah Last City Guardians are going to be the Adeptus Custodes but with Necron Reanimatiom Protocal and Thousand Suns Magic bs, but you can only field a very small amount on a given battlefield. It’s all still in concepts, so I’m taking any and all ideas 😅
@@thesilliestgoose5990 Gosh Destiny tabletop sounds so freaking cool. Here's some potential ideas I got after reading (keep in mind I've never played 40k tabletop, I've only played Mechanicus and that isn't even fully accurate) So maybe you could do Lightless Guardians who are more melee based, and are a bit weaker without the light, but use cunning to thwart their enemies (kind of like melee based Eldar without going into a terrifying level of sadism and stuff like that) Other factions like the Vex and Fallen would be really interesting too. Cabal could essentially just be Space Marines (especially since they even have their own sub factions which you could customize a bit). The vex could have the ability to travel extreme distances with teleporting but short ranged weapons for everyone except hobogoblins, with especially minotaurs a bit more geared towards slapping the enemies to death. If dodging is a feature on tabletop, then fallen should absolutely have the highest chance of doing so, with lower health to compensate. The fallen houses would especially be fun to do, maybe doing the d1 houses before everyone converged to house of dusk, then house of salvation would be best (although I wouldn't blame you if you want to do post d2 since WOW thats a lot of factions). And then there's the Taken and the Scorn, which is a whole other can of worms. Maybe you could even do something like the Officio Assassinorum with Dredgens or something like that, where some are specifically dropped in to kill anything like guardians, whether it be lucent Hive or otherwise or something like that. Anyways, hopefully this colossal dump of ideas helps somehow, and I wish you luck with this. It sounds genuinely really awesome and I hope you keep working on it :3
@@VelvetTheTegu thank you so much!!!!! Those ideas sound amazing, in terms of lore I’m kinda taking lore from all over the timeline and making some homebrew stuff to add some spice haha. The Scorn Warbands are my favorites so far, with Each Baron having their own Flavor of scorn to use. Fikrul has the Fanatic’s Chosen, who are adept at Dark Aether Necromancy and Magic. The Trickster has the Comedians, who are the Harlequin’s sense of humor mixed with the brutality of the Orks. The Mindbender has the Worm Tamers, which can field Mindbent Hive onto the field as well as having Ir Anah (The Mindbender’s Consort) as a model on the tabletop. And those are only a few, I’ve made unique names and combat styles for each Warband and I’m super proud of my work so far 😊
@@thesilliestgoose5990 oooooo the baron warbands sound perfect for this. Especially since it would even explain why the ravagers change from solar lanterns to stasis, since one is apart of the Hangman's tree, whereas the stasis ones are Fikrul's
Seasonal/limited time narrative chapters are such an awful design choice. Like, congrats any players who are new or didn't know the season/event was happening have missed out of parts of the story and will never get a chance to experience them first hand. The FOMO for story stuff like that does keep some players involved well past the point they would have otherwise quit from burnout, but it also drives plenty away as well because it makes it harder and more exhausting to continue caring about.
Yeah. That has always bugged me so much when they started to do that. Especially when they brought back Saint-14. Like I really get demotivated not being able to play these at all. I get it is good ramp up for the main story but it does force you to keep up with it for you to actually understand what is going on beyond this bad guy is evil and must be killed.
Agreed? Wish they would allow newbies to play the game from beginning to end with all campaigns and seasonal quests. Rather have all stories good and bad rather than be missing some.
"I know hunters have brain damage from hitting their heads using stompees" As a hunter that doesn't use stompees, I approve this message. I thoroughly enjoyed this video and now has me questioning if I've encountered a wild bricky in the throne world... I will keep my eye out, hugs will be given.
FINALLY! Someone puts Taken King and Forsaken into perspective and doesn't drown in nostalgia. People are weird with how high up they put those two expansions when all they did was make Destiny good.
Been playing since D1 vanilla and I still don't get the insane level of reverence those two get, they both "saved" their respective games but they are far from flawless and neither were the true peaks of either game in my eyes.
@@CboTheSecond me too, it's like the nostalgia goggles are fused to the skull of these people. It's been like 8 years since the game came out, 7 since TTK and like 4 years since Forsaken. Please move on
Considering they both kinda "saved" their respective games it is understandable. They're both really loved expansions so a lot of people will keep being biased towards them. But yeah all they did was make Destiny good. It's like nowadays with Pokemon Black and White 2. People praise the game for actually having a good story, world building, etc. but really all the game did was the bare minimum of what an RPG should really do when it comes to the story aspect. Pokemon as an RPG has always been behind its competitors imo. Its success is because of that "Pokemon magic" but not because it's an actually good RPG cuz it honestly isn't. At least that's my opinion nowadays.
I like destiny. But after 10 years of playing the same content over and over, it just didn’t have the same appeal that it used to. I wish bungie had the balls to actually change up the gameplay loop from season to season, but instead we get the exact same activities with a new coat of paint. I miss the days where exotics actually felt powerful ( like in forsaken), not to mention the fact we get 1 raid a year, that is laughable for a game calling itself an MMO. The forsaken year added 3 raids, like its not even comparable. Forsaken was the best year of destiny and it’s well and truly behind us.
bro I basically play none of the games Bricky discusses but I always like watching his videos. Also he introduced me to frostpunk, I know damn well that if I ever have time for video games I can trust this man's taste
What you said about raids is absolutely right. I’ve been stuck in VOG for 4 hours cuz of 1 shitter on my LFG team when I was learning the raid, but I’ve also done VOG in about 45 minutes, also LFG. It all comes down to skill and execution.
24:30 I know this is a Destiny thing, but if you read the lore the fireflies were going to kill Joel anyways as soon as he stepped out the building. So in a sense he killed them before they could kill him
Just wanna say that you've grown to be one of my fav creators, been watching you since the story time days and your content has just gotten better and better.

Okay I watched the whole video, and I only have one issue. Witch queen and destiny as a whole seems to kinda embrace it’s existing player base and kinda forsaken any possible new players. After playing witch queen and experiencing the Kino of it, I told my friend. He seemed excited since all he plays is FF14 so a new game would be nice. But after playing red war and such, he has no clue the story, the relations between people, why I fucking dislike crow the way I do, so on. That’s my only major complaint. Well that and not having 6 friends to play destiny with but besides the point. If there was a way to redownload old content and locking you out of playing it unless you had gear from that expansion or before would be my suggestion to fix it and to also appreciate old design.
I feel like that a bit aswell. I played D1 all the way to The Taken King and actually liked it a lot. Also played base D2 a little after it came out, but haven't touched it ever since. I kinda want to go back, but there is SO MUCH that has changed, that I don't understand, so much expensive content to buy. If I buy only the witch queen, will I actually be able to play it correctly? Will I understand the story? Should I actually buy all of the 1 trillion DLCs if I want to have a smooth sail and get the equipment to actually be competitive? As much as I like the game, sometimes I just feel like there are other ways to spend time and money better, if the only option I have to actually enjoy the game is to spend hundreds of dollars and thousands of hours on it.
I also tried destiny just after they dropped all the story stuff & didn't get attached to it at all, i watched cinematics/playthrough on youtube a while later and man i really feel i missed out. Still some expansions look awesome tho
yeah me too. I played destiny 1 a ton, but I skipped out on Destiny 2's start. There's now so much content that I cant access and enjoy, kinda like what WoW does with how only the current expansion means anything. I have no context dammit. And a great story is no story at all without context.
@@Donafell unless it's a soulsborne style game. Only games I've seen where there is seemingly no context to everything but once you begin to piece it together its surprisingly really deep and rich. Then add a dlc that makes everything make complete sense.

I'd like to see Bricky do reviews on the seasons - more specifically, what they brought to the table, new or reprised. His review of Void 3.0 as fun instead of over-/under-powered or over-/under-tuned really made me happy.
Glad to see bricky doing some destiny 2 content. As the one creator who got me into Warframe, Destiny 2 and the bane of my existence that is League, I'm happy to see him talk about one of those games every now and then
I think the interesting problem I always run into with a game like Destiny after putting it down for years is the question of, is it too late or did I miss too much? Despite the game being at its height, it’s weird. Great video though!
… wow that energy. It’s so nice to see someone just enjoy the fuck outta this DLC. I watched Skill Up’s review and felt like I was wrong to like it. Glad someone else is feeling the awesome.
Agreed with everything in this video. Only thing I want that's sunsetted is Titan. Titan is to me what the Throne World is to you. I could live in the Archology. Also if I could get the Breakneck back that would be cool
ive been playing destiny since D1 first launched, ive been here since the beginning, and without a shadow of a doubt this is my favorite DLC to be released. More than just the main story, all the little side stories hidden in lore entries and weapons are good enough on their own, and the main campaign far exceeds The Taken King, which was my all time favorite. Going forward, I can't wait to see what Bungie has in store for all the seasons, and eventually Lightfall.
Hearing the "Have a little faith" bit regarding the number of times Ikora mentions that the Hive were lied to made me chuckle because I know a few people who went through the mission for Lament and still didn't realise that Clovis Bray = Banshee-44
“90% of the complaints about Destiny are either outdated, or just memes, or done by people who don’t play Destiny” You literally described the hate mob so accurately with this 😂😂
Yeah no most of the criticisms are still valid. Monetization will always be a terrible aspect of this game and it gets worse every expansion. losing access to planets and raids and stories you pay for sucks majorly as well as alienates the new lights from experiencing the story that regular destiny 2 players get to play creating FOMO. The entire mod system being absolute garbage if you didnt play during a season that they released super overpowered mods
@@legendofswords Bungie said that the cloud technology could cut the need of DCV, so i guess they will release everything again in the future. Otherwise the game now would be 150+ GB.
@@TheAtomoh expanded storage is super affordable so 150 gigs is not a big deal to most. People are fine with war zone taking up half their hard-drive why not an actual content rich game with 5 years of story and end game content
Agreed with everything, and especially "if sunsetting and vaulting old stuff means Devs have more time to make what we have today? To hell with it, remove it all! "
I hear you, but still find unacceptable that content I paid for is not available any more. That should not be legal. Sure, some of it was lame, but I can't introduce Destiny 2 anymore to friends who never played before; it's like asking someone to start reading Lord of the Rings with the 3rd book...
A common misconception is that you pay for ownership of the DLC, when in reality the legality of it all is that you pay for a "ticket" to play the content that is in the game. I'm just saying. Not trying to change minds here.
Hey Bricky, have you ever played Deep Rock Galactic? it's a coop game about dwarks in space fighting big bugs to mine some stuff that actually works really well on solo too and it's pretty fun and the best part? It has a "battle pass" that actually works and it's really REALLY good
Would recommend it to destiny players especially. Also, lemme say, I love both games, but all the complaints about difficulty in d2 (cough skillup cough) are handled excellently in drg. There’s a really nice mix of a “starting out difficulty”, “leveling your character difficulty”, “can try out cool new builds difficulty”, and “sweaty extra challenging difficulty”. And as much as I love d2s legendary campaign, doing it underleveled (please do not do it underleveled) made me really appreciate how well designed drg’s enemies were. They all had clear audio cues for when they were around with distinct telegraphed attacks along with obvious and exploitable weakpoints with (mostly) fairly balanced damage numbers (looking at you, acid spitters and tri jaws). In legendary campaign, I would just get oneshot by an acolite I couldnt react to because he didnt have a sound cue for charging up his attack from behind a wall and the splash damage cone was nothing like what the visuals indicated. Ok rant over, both games are good :)
DRG is great. The best part is that its not really a stat check. Sure having a class be at max level or at least have their first promotion makes higher difficulty easy but the difficulty comes more from player skill. And I love that overclocks are either just a minor buff or a major buff that completely changes how the gun works so in exchange for more power the gun might lose out on one of its strengths in exchange for a new one.
I disagree in the point about the traveler, for me this campaign only showed the traveler as a even more merciful and loving entity in the destiny universe and as the best side to choose in comparision to the witness by revealing his will to bless the krill(how the hive was called before the darkness), they were the weakest species on their planet and were cursed to short lifes full of suffering and he was going to free them from that, meanwhile the witness lied to them and condened them to become murder machines for eternity, and even after millions of years of the hive trying to kill him and destroying many civilizations that he visited and hold dear (Dreams of alpha lupi basically confirms that the traveler deeply cares about the civilizations that he blesses), he was still willing to free them from the worms curse and give them a second chance, in the current moment they may be using this gift badly, but even humanity took a long time to use the gift of the light for good as we saw with the warlods, and the lore even shows some members of the hive questioning all this violence now that the light gave them the option to not be murder machines.
The seasonal content and sunsetting killed the game for me. Can't be fucked playing a game that removes the content I buy. Hopefully under Soney they'll make a make a Destiny 3 with a new engine that is easier to develop with so they can produce content more efficiently without having to remove it later.
Sorry to be a spoil sport but Bungie made it clear they have no interest in making Destiny 3, heck while being buisness polite about it, devs been making it clear they didn't really wanna do D2 even, that was basically an Activision push. They are clear in sticking with D2 being the foundation from which the franchise kerps evolving.
By a purely aesthetic definition, the dreaming city color scheme seems to better fit your preferences of "magenta, statues, flowers, the combination of a metal and somthing white/magenta colored." Which do you like better Bricky, the throne world or dreaming city?
Is the majority of past content still inaccessible? Genuinely curious, as a new player who experienced the (imo abysmal) free-to-play trial content, I'd like to experience all the substantial stuff I missed before the most recent expansions. Also, did they say they were putting D1 content into D2 or was that never planned?
Past content is still inaccessible for the most part. As for D1 content, they tend to be selective about what they port over to D2, typically it's only the major content of D1 that gets ported over, I'd expect a greatest hits collection over a full blown album.
Shadowkeep is the oldest expansion you can do as a newlight. Forsaken, Redwar and any seasonal content between has been removed. Vault of Glass and its armor and weapons is in the game and a Dungeon that gives you the Gjallarhorn is the extent of the stuff from D1 that is in the game so far. Kings fall is rumored and hinted to be coming but not officially confirmed
Agreed? Wish they would allow newbies to play the game from beginning to end with all campaigns and seasonal quests. Rather have all stories good and bad rather than be missing some.

I picked this game up on steam about a month ago f2p; light level 1550(1560+ with artifact) and it’s still fun. Mainly do the weekly pinnacle bounties for light level up. Do some patrols or public events while gathering nodes for upgrade mats. But I really enjoy going to dreaming city for the wells or the moon for the sorrow wells (horde mode?) Idk if I’ll buy any expansion or season pass tbh, but it’s still fun and you’re able to max out gear without paying.
I'm glad that you enjoyed Witch Queen, Bricky Legend Campaign was a fuckin' Nightmare, but a good one The Loot was worth it, and with such a great story I didn't mind the Ass-Fuckening lol Also I'm glad I'm not the only one who struggled at the Giant Scorn Bitch.

Their ability are cool, but unless your running Arc you won't make a whole lot of a dent before an Astartes is killing you. They are like 10x faster than Guardians, and their weakest melee weapon rips into anything that the Guardians wear.
So, Brick, I heard you a recommending it to everyone. So, shall I recommend it to my friend who bought it at Forsaken and dropped it before Shadowkeep, without sighing up to do the explaining of the required non-accessible seasonal plot for 4 hours and why his bought dlc's are no longer playable?
Destiny 2 sunsetting previous DLCs is enough to make me never want to touch it again. Why would I pay $40 per expansion and not be able to play it in 1-2 years?
So to blow the lid off the glaive discussion if no one else has noticed, but you were saying that the glaive is kind of underwhelming. I'm not sure I agree, because off rip we have an artifact mod that makes all of its damage suppress which is kind of broken since that will stun lock anything that isn't the boss. But what got me laughing maniacally was when you said that maybe it could use some synergy with some Exotic armor or something, because for once, my vanity has done me a favor in Destiny. So I'm a Warlock main, so it was awhile before I noticed this, but eventually I got around to leveling up my Hunter, and I was a void hunter. I always thought the bow was cool, I like supporting my team, and the group invisibility is great for reviving downed allies. That being said, I use the Graviton Forfeit religiously, and as someone who avoids PvP like the plague, it doesn't really bite me in the ass too often because it's a get out of jail free card that if used optimally, can keep you in stealth indefinitely. But you came here for the glaive. Remember the void hunter rework? Did you notice the part where you can get invisibility resets off of killing suppressed enemies? Some of you may be ahead of me, but think of it. Your glaive suppresses, your subclass makes you invisible for killing suppressed enemies, and you're wearing an exotic that extends invisibility. And if I remember correctly, you also get bonus damage coming out of stealth. Seriously. Try this build in PvE. So long as there are mobs that aren't the boss, I'm am nearly permanently invisible. I don't know what causes it, it would require more testing, but sometimes it even lets me wail on enemies without breaking the invisibility. I don't even use the glaive's ammo. In fact, in that one campaign mission where you have to deactivate the scanners in the pyramid and kill that Cabal boss, I decided for fun to not kill anything and just focus the boss, go invisible after the shield comes up, and then get the scanners, wash, rinse, repeat, but it was SO effective that it eventually was spawning so many enemies with each new wave, and I hadn't even killed the last one, that it began to slow down my computer as this mass of mobs swarmed the area around the boss. The best part is, in an effort to thin out the herd to get some heavy ammo for the boss, you would think coming out of stealth is suicide at that point, but when you only come out of stealth for 3 jabs maximum depending on the enemy, the time it takes for them to register you're there, turn to you, and fire, you've already killed the straggler and you're on to the next. In other words, at least while this artifact that gives the glaive suppression on all damage is around, it is strong in PvE arguably broken, and in a solo void hunter run, it is like activating God mode. Oh and, yes, I didn't forget that you said this is all due to the seasonal artifact. I know it's only temporary, but it is FAR PAST STRONG even if temporary.

Not to mention Andrew Hopps, the campaign lead on The Witch Queen. Is also the campaign lead for Lightfall
I miss when D1 was about to drop and we speculated what the 4th race of enemy were gonna be ugh what a time however destiny to me at this point is like the drunk partner who abused you for years who you gave tons of chances and now that they’re finally sober you just don’t have the will to go back to them anymore ya know
Light fall is gonna be soooooo fucking good
@@Wonderbrut destiny rn is in such an amazing state, you should get back into it!
Watching both Bricky and Skill Up’s reviews of Witch Queen today was really interesting
Very different tones between the two for sure.
Oh no it’s him the meme man
I'd love for each of them to watch each other's reviews and give their thoughts. Nothing negative, just what they agree/disagree with. I've watched both reviews now and they seem similar, if Bricky is maybe more positive than Skill UP who went into a little more depth about his concerns.
@@Projectz1122 they would just end up making out because of how much they both love destiny and I think that’s beautiful
Skill up was too focused on the core playlist dude didn’t even mention glaives actually. Love him tho he’s a godsend reviewer
Rhulk’s encounter is like, when you get a DPS phase, so does he.
@@treebahn agreed. Dethroned is nice too.
Hidden Truth is the DSL of Witch Queen and it makes me so happy that it’s the orbit theme.
It's good, I just prefer Forsakens more Western ost
The bit about re-doubling on lore exposition around 13:40-something I do agree with as someone who's really invested in the lore and knows most if not all of the little details. However have you considered the people who will run through the campaign with voice lines turned down and subtitles off that will half-watch a cutscene and then go "I don't get it"? Lightfall: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Oh, my poor summer child.
Ever since finding your channel and getting me into Warhammer 40k I’ve started a new passion project:
I’m making concepts for a tabletop wargame for Destiny, with armies for each race/faction in the game.
Here's some potential ideas I got after reading (keep in mind I've never played 40k tabletop, I've only played Mechanicus and that isn't even fully accurate)
So maybe you could do Lightless Guardians who are more melee based, and are a bit weaker without the light, but use cunning to thwart their enemies (kind of like melee based Eldar without going into a terrifying level of sadism and stuff like that)
Other factions like the Vex and Fallen would be really interesting too.

@@CboTheSecond mainly because those expansions brought people back. something can be flawed but that doesnt mean it can be loved.

I'd like to see Bricky do reviews on the seasons - more specifically, what they brought to the table, new or reprised. His review of Void 3.0 as fun instead of over-/under-powered or over-/under-tuned really made me happy.
The narrative/difficulty balance finally being hit, that's exactly what makes this the peak to me.
I’ve said this before on a different video, but Forsaken went from crawling to walking so that Witch Queen could run and fly
ive been playing destiny since D1 first launched, ive been here since the beginning, and without a shadow of a doubt this is my favorite DLC to be released. More than just the main story, all the little side stories hidden in lore entries and weapons are good enough on their own, and the main campaign far exceeds The Taken King, which was my all time favorite. Going forward, I can't wait to see what Bungie has in store for all the seasons, and eventually Lightfall.
Hearing the "Have a little faith" bit regarding the number of times Ikora mentions that the Hive were lied to made me chuckle because I know a few people who went through the mission for Lament and still didn't realise that Clovis Bray = Banshee-44

and the best part? It has a "battle pass" that actually works and it's really REALLY good
and it doesn't take itself too seriously, meaning that it's hilarious and so much better with friends

Finally, and I thought I was the only one with that take on Sunsetting.
Makes me so happy to hear bricky gush about this game I love. It's got it's problems, but I'm glad more people are finding thier own love for the game

I know it's only temporary, but it is FAR PAST STRONG even if temporary.
bruh, this AND the Skill-Up review today? I can only form my own opinion based on those of youtube personalities so much
You know I’m not gonna lie - I totally forgot Shadowkeep was a thing
Then lightfall happend

pvp players: skeleton. pvp players after WQ: dust.
i’m irrationally buying this while high, you better be right
It’s an exceptionally boring game, but I hope you enjoy it nonetheless.
I love that bricky is back into Destiny bcs rn is the best fps out there with battlefield 2042 being a mess, and the new cod being boring af and halo having no new content
Ehhh apex is up there
I don’t know about this take chief
@@trippytrinder7111 its just my opinion u dont have to agree with it
@@jaytheman6436 I forgot about apex didnt play it in a while probably will jump in again since I didnt play it in over a year
This game and hunt showdown are carrying things for me rn
17:53 did you time that with the shield bash on purpose?
My biggest complaint about destiny even from the beginning is that you can’t really rest on your laurels. You always have to coming back every week to get your bounties, RAID, heroic strikes in it just feels like a job after a while.
You really don’t. Unless you wanna grind up for gm nightfalls and master raids you’re kinda set by just doing whatever you want
I got the Bachman Books collection and yes, The Long Walk is dope.
I highly doubt vaulting of the content is there to save development time, I have a feeling they are just taking our eyes from the truth.
… what do you think the reason is then?

I know nothing about Destiny but it's just nice to hear you talk about something you're into, Bricky. I appreciate you my guy
I loved Destiny 2 so much. Me and a friend of mine played it for hourse on end. Until we experienced our first ligth level reset. Everything we grinded for days was just worhtless untill we grind agin for a coupel of days. Well, befor that we had to reach the soft cap and then had to work towards the hard cap, again.
I really like destiny 2, i really do. But if a game just says the time i invested in it is worthless, im not exactly motivated to play anymore. Im punnisched for taking a break from this game. So if i stop playing for i while it will be a long one, because i have no reason to return knowing i have to grind from base level again. Oh cool a new dlc dropped that looks really good. Cant wait to grind for a few days to be abel to play it.
I find it bafeling how littel i hear about this, because i cant understand how people like a game, that does not value the time you put in it.
I know this is kinda out of place, but im just sad that Destiny 2 made me to not like it anymore.
I love this game so much but i dont want to play it. At all.
I'll be watching this and Skill Up's reviews because y'all are both great.
3 hours for Last Wish? I remember going on LFG and joining teams that "knew what we were doing", and spending 8+ hours WITHOUT COMPLETING IT, because supposedly competent teammates didn't know how to count from left to right (Kalli fight), or couldn't stand on the appropriate platform (Shuro Chi puzzle). Hell, even for the Riven cheese, in which all you had to do was melt her in one go with a rocket launcher, teammates couldn't even do THAT right. ;D
I had to abuse void invisibility to much during the legendary campain
turns out bricky was in love with destiny 2 this whole time
Real cool seeing this, I just showed up from the Warhammer 40k videos and see you’re covering one of my favorite games, cool stuff!
I feel ya with the scorn bosses Bricky I think everyone had trouble with those goons.
You know what, I almost fell for it. I almost reinstalled the game, thank God I came to my senses. Good video Bricky, it it almost managed to get myself an avid "I won't support this game due to X reason" person to actually begin the reinstall process of the game and look up the dlc prices. Very well made and a person can see that you put a lot of time and effort into it.
Do it
Yeah, I wouldn’t do it. Stay strong brother.
i actually think that destiny 2 was great, and i decided to start playing it again recently. and then i found out that they removed all of the content that i was in the middle pf doing.
like, wtf?
Every Bricky vid I watch gets ne in deeper. He likes destiny as well? Your tastes are exquisite sir
I agree totally with Savathûn’s throne word is gorgeous
I keep returning to the first 30 seconds of your ad read because that shit was hilarious
Hmmm, a two handed spear like weapon that is also part gun, sounds like Bricky just wanted to play a Custodes in D2
32:10 what is the weapon he uses there? is it new? i havent seen it before (might be because i only played the previous expansion)
That is the exotic scout rifle dead man's tale. It was previously part of season of the chosen and is now avaible every week from Xur.
Dead Man's Tale
@@Awoken_Remmuz xur is the guy at the gold filled place right? i remember that i couldent do anything with him cuz i didnt have the season pass or some shit. gotta have to look into that when i start the witch queen cuz that gun seems SO satisfying to use
@@Moffattt well that's one version of him, you want the version of him that pops up at one of multiple possible destinations every Friday to next weekly reset.
@@Awoken_Remmuz do i need to do something special to get that? or is it in the base game? because im pretty sure i tried interacting with him once and didnt really get anywhere
