- Finally got technology to work for me!
Ya'll WHY isn't anyone talking about WEST BOTTOMS! Some of the BEST antique shopping I have ever seen. This little Kansas City Vlog is going to show my vintage & antique shopping trip that was absolutely exhausting but worth it! I went to the famous "Bella Patina" which has been featured on "Bargain Mansions" with Tamara Day along with many more stores. It was like flea market shopping but better! Never knew what I would find in the high-end "Bottoms Up" antique shop. There were quite a few other stores I couldn't even make it to. So maybe I need to go back for another trip? Next time I'm taking a truck!

I live in the area and the West Bottoms are awesome. Food trucks, live music and, of course, shopping. Good Juju is my favorite.
I've made so many trips to KC to visit my sister and nieces....and darn them they never told me about West Bottoms. I love your videos.

Oh My Me !! I want to go to West Bottoms so bad. I had to keep pausing the video to look at all the merch on the shelves. Such good goodies !! I just dropped a virtual million dollars shopping with you and Papa Squirrel (who is a hoot). Ok back to the fantasy……

I have family in Wichita Kansas and near Kansas City Missouri so now I'm like planning a whole trip in my mind and how I can fly there and drive a U-Haul truck load home haha...I live in Northern California by the way, soooo yeah not gonna happen🤣
THAT would be one heck of a pickin' trip! I was tempted to do the same this time around but decided I better check it out first. One day I'll get a uhaul truck or trailer and just start driving 😂

As a former flight attendant, Amanda, I understand your angst about flying. Back in the old days, we had none of that! But I see the trip was great and I understand that driving a truck next time would be of benefit!!!! Thanks for sharing! (or fly Delta)
Hahaha! Thank you Sharon. 75% of my anxiety around flighting is just the worry that I'm going to get nauseous. I've been sick a few times on a plane and it's a little embarrassing and just uncomfortable.
I use to have a space there love it still go shop every month. My daughters come from LA to shop

My dad gets motion sick even watching a merri-go-round and he uses Sea Bands when he flies. They're like wrist bands with a button on them that acupressures a certain part of your wrist? I haven't tried them but maybe they might work for you.

I live about 1 hour and 20 minutes from there.
Ugghhh I need to go to the states for one of these markets. Canada doesn’t really have these types of things or vendor malls. Nor do we have the sheer volume of stuff. You are so lucky!

My mistake
Instead of no import fees for cheap trash from China; bring in quality antiques from France, England, Italy, Germany, etc with no import taxes/duties. Let’s up the quality of goods in America’s homes.
Fly there and bring a rental home to the east coast full of treasures you find along the way home. You could even have guests along the way; daughter, friends, other video bloggers, etc.
