I watched your video before I purchased my remote start system from 12 volt solutions. It was really helpful and accurately shows the installation process. After watching your video I was convinced to buy the remote start system. Thank you for making the video. This is a true plug and play install meaning no wire splicing or cutting is needed. I have installed remote start systems in the past and it could be an all day endeavor. This system is fast and easy to install. There are 2 things that I am not really happy with on this system. The first one is that this remote start system allows you to start the vehicle with the hood up. All of the systems that I have done in the past don't allow that in case someone is working under the hood while someone is playing with the remote. The 2nd thing is that there is no switch to disable the remote start capability. Again the systems that I have done in the past had a toggle switch that you mount somewhere to allow you to disable remote start but still start normally using the key. This should be included especially since it allows you to start the vehicle with the hood open. Other than those 2 things, this system is great and easy to install.
I'm surprised that the company didn't offer any video instructions on how to install this kit. I'm thankful you guys created this video and did a great job of being clear and concise.
Thanks for the video you saved my bacon, we were installing this outside in a snowstorm and couldn’t get it to work. I came in very frustrated and watched your video and went out and within five minutes had it working thank you again. Steve
Hey thanks a lot, good video. I just installed this in my 2016 4runner and this video still applies as of 7/28/20. Although my box read TOYO-TL5-T1Y25. Paper directions in the box still said to use Y30 cable (there is no Y25 cable harness). Thanks again, I really appreciate it
I installed it in my 2008 Toyota Tacoma but I made a mess of the wiring and I want to disconnect the module to organize the wiring. Do you know if the module would be deprogrammed?

Thank you so very much. I’m so glad you found value in the install and it really is a cool remote start.

Just wondering if u used the TPMS wire?
Just installed it this morning, work great! Thank you.
Thank you very much. Glad we could help!!!!
Interesting that on their website it says for push start only and obviously you have a keyed ignition in yours and it works fine!
Er, perhaps you linked the wrong one?

Is there a way to remotely turn it off, and does it have a time-out? Thank you!!
Great video. Thanks guys
Thanks you very much!!!!👏👏👏👏
Would this work with the push to start models?
I honestly don’t know on that one!
They make a version that works with remote start
Well done, thanks!
Hey thank you very much.
Is it the same for a 2021? I know the kit is just a bit different
Honestly I have no idea. Sorry.
I never got a green light at all and it dont work. . . . . . now what??
Damn that sucks. Call the help line.
my 4runner won't start with door open
That is odd. Trevors 4Runner isn’t having that issue.
Hey guys well done, but what about that yellow wire on u have to cut in case the truck is autolight?how do I know it is autolight??hahaha
What do u do about the TPMS wire?
That is a lot of cables just for remote start
the light never turned green because it already turned green the first time... smh
😮
It’s not plug and play there’s a wire need to splice
Is this push to start?
