Are we really just overlooking the fact that that sword was wielded by an prodigy teen from a warrior race who reached a legendary form and travels from the FUTURE with prior knowledge of his enemy. What a shame. The setup and hand signs for the Burning attack are soooo friggin cool. But the attack itself looks like a generic energy blast. Its underwhelming. I always hated that. It should have been his signature power move like the Kamehameha, Galic Gun,Masenko, Neo Tri Beam, Wolf Fang Fist, etc...It seems like everyone had a bad ass signature move, and his is like pressing the Ki blast button in a DBZ fighting game.

Maybe it’s like a kamehameha, he didn’t power it up properly, he just used it as a disctraction attack. Maybe if he charges it like they can with the kamehameha, masenko and galick gun it can be (just as) powerful

If Trunks did his signs and then charged the attack, he would be my favorite character. I'm hoping that present Trunks from Super will create an attack of his own. Gotenks made up soo many moves. Or how Cell toyed with Grade 3 Trunks just to test his strength but to exploit his weakness when it comes to speed? Or how Cell one shotted Trunks and killed him when he returned to Earth after blowing up? I mean After this, Trunks was on the backfoot a lot of the time as was everybody else.

Best villain because the dude was the worst in every kind of way, he never gave mercy and had people living in fear, including his own soldiers, to them they were expendable, life meant nothing to him, he killed and ordered the killings of trillions of innocent people and was happy about it.

Super is the biggest pile of garbage I have ever seen. I can't even call that Dragon Ball, that's how much of a disgrace it is. They retconned and rewrote too much of the original Z story so I no longer look at that as Canon. At least Z was respectful to Dragon Ball when it came to going in depth about the history.
