This is an excellent episode! It’s filmed like a theatrical movie! Great stunts by real people….no CGI, real authentic special effects. The acting by Lindsay is so heartfelt. Shows she’s more than just a super human, she’s a compassionate hero for humanity.
"You're going to die too." That was one mean machine. Of all the moments of this show, you choice my favorite. Nice, clean cut. My complements and keep at it. You got taste.
Now that's a bold statement. It's a rip-off of the movie 2001: A Space Odysee. So, it's not very original. Star Trek: The Next Generation had some bangers as far as 2-parters go that put this to shame. Best of Both Worlds comes to mind. That's the one where Captain Picard gets assimilated by The Borg. It's refrenced again many times in the series. Even in it's spin-off Deep Space Nine. And that's just Sci-fi. The Simpsons and South Park have had some great 2-parters too. So did the old Batman and Justice League cartoons from the 90s/2000's. It's cool if you like this better than all of those. I respect that. But, claiming it's the best because you like it more is kind of arrogant.
@@bradleyj.fortner2203 I remember watching this two-parter and it was spellbinding for anyone into science-fiction at the time. The weekly budget for STTNG was about $1.3 Million per episode ... nothing remotely near to that here.
I was never so happy to see a computer die. Not only was ALEX evil, he was nauseatingly condescending and patronizing (way worse than HAL). You just wanted to slap the crap out of him. Guerin Barry did a great job with the voice. And Lindsay did a great job, period. But you already knew that.
Yes and also she was in her mind thinking run as fast as you possibly can and her and Steve's bionics are symbiotic with their mind and it's commands ,so she was zooming here. I think this was the fastest they acknowledged in mph of how fast she can go in the series
That's the fatal flaw in computers like these. You program one with a single-minded, primary directive with zero flexibility and they will take it to an extreme, every time.

We watch the Bionic Woman and was barely interested in the 6 Milllion Dollar Man. Jamie often had to think and outsmart the enemy in more creative ways than just beat the villain in a fistfight. In fact we often watch shows that primarily featured female protagonist like Charlie’s Angels, even Electra Woman & Dyna Girl.

I agree! One of my favorite TV shows as a kid ❤❤😊😊
I agree. They do not make shows like this anymore.

As a little kid 2 things "bionic" scared the bejesus out of me:
1) Bigfoot from "The $6 Million Man &
2) the Fembots from"The Bionic Woman "
😱😲
This holds up sooo well over the passage of many long decades, this is some of the BEST tv EVER !!
One of best episode of The Bionic Woman one of my favourites!!

I like that she uses her bionics, sure, but she's also using her brains.
Not only the best two part episode of "The Bionic Woman." But one of the best on TV.....Ever.

Nice blast from the past, but you couldn't include the last couple of minutes where the bomber's called off?

My favorite episode (two parters) of The Bionic Woman. Then comes Kill Oscar.
“You know how big I am”
😮
“Just what do you think you’re doing, Jaime?”
"I'm sorry Dave. I can not do that."

What was great about this, is that we had no idea what kind of computing power would be needed to create this. Even today, we don't even have it.
☝️😯 JAMIE was running 62 m.p.h . ? That's freakin' fast !
Yep, she and Steve Austin hovered around 60mph give or take.

Wow! This looks great. Somebody had a good look at Dr. Strangelove and 2001: A Space Oddessey and possibly Colossus: The Forbin Project.

Funny how often this same story has been written. 2001 Space Odyssey, Terminator, Dune, even an episode of the old Star Trek -- the 'M5'.
The fear of AI taking over and starting war with man was/is a real fear.
Hal 9000 got nothing on this guy....
They get together and FIGHT! IN ROBOT HEAVEN!
@@robforrester3727 HAL wins. He's actually a hero if you've seen 2010.
Beat their swords into ploughshares. I wish this had included that scene - still - great memories.
I wish it didn’t spoiler so much and suggested where to watch the double episode.
“But will they remember it tomorrow?”
I am afraid not

one of my favorites esp. of the series, and the Fen bots esp. close tie
When they were showing the cockpit scenes in the B-52, they should of been playing the song, "When Johnny Comes Marching Home" in the background.
Genius enough to build a human level AI, but not genius enough to install a Halon fire extinguishing system.
They should bring this show back 🔙
Plus ➕ the Six Million Dollar Man.
Any Space 1999 clips?
That dialogue on the bomber was almost verbatim from Dr. Strangelove.
Would be great to have the entire episode in 720p ! 😬
Indeed
