Love how you compared the prices with self built and even mentioned GPU price drop and showed the latest price, it helps making decision so much easier.
Agree with James, I have it and took a look inside... this is nothing that you can possibly work with without specialized components. It's extremely densely packed.
There were some very nice considerations when thinking about choosing this over building it yourself or another group's offerings. A lot of wisdom shared along with beautiful footage of the case itself. Thanks for a great video.
Owning an i160, the Corsair One is absolutely awesome... Until that moment when the AIO starts rattling, it's not designed to be user-refillable and since it's a custom design you also can't just buy a new AIO. Corsair won't ship a replacement AIO either (when the stock runs out - like it did for the i160), so keep that in mind when looking for this machine.
That was a great and realistic video. The PC looks awesome, performs awesome, it's a engineering marvel, it's decently cooled for its size, but I won't pay a 2000$ premium for the same performance and just a bit smaller case. NR200 is still a small case in my opinion and for sure it will be much quieter than Corsair One, having a lot better airflow.
@@RomeoMihalcea I don't like water cooling, but I can air cool a high end CPU and GPU in NR200. Just use a Noctua U12A as air cooler, a GPU that fits inside, use all case fan slots and you do a chill and silent build inside a NR200 for a lot less money.
Hello, I didn't expect to like it at first............but, once I opened my mind and looked at the overall package, it grew on me. I would like to have one. Your comments, AS USUAL were excellent. I would want one with lower specs, lower temps, and lower price. With it spec'd to my needs it would be much cheaper and it would look good on my desk while taking up very little space. Thanks.
I have the 1st gen from 2018 (8700k+1080ti FE) it's still running very strong. I'm not upgrading for another 2 years lol. But the 1st gen was so old that, I confirmed with Corsair, it wasn't even supported in iCUE, and they probably plugged the top fan cable into the wrong header on the motherboard so the bios fan monitor not only displays the wrong info it also does nothing on the fan curve. And since the system isn't supported by iCUE, the only thing that can control the lighting and the top fan is their old Corsair Link, which also did not support customed fan curve until the 2nd gen. I thought about upgrading to a newer version as opposed to building my own. But prices have gone up so much, my 1st gen cost $2300 back then and it was already overpriced, if not for the insane and unique engineering they put into it. And starting from the 3rd gen, they hardly have a model
I wish there was some practical showcase of the sound under some realistic game load, not just a spreadsheet that says amount of noise in db, almost nobody does that and it's kinda annoying when you get the PC and realize it's definitely not what an ad says. For this particular PC I recommend Linus Tech Tips video. Other than that very informative, good job!
Nice compact system, this a crazy overkill spec not really ideal for the form factor and price point, agree that i7 would be more practical option shame they don't offer. Great video as usual
now lets see if these prebuilt companies drop prices according to gpu prices as fast as they raised them. I think they will be reluctant to lower the price for a couple months to avoid the chance prices go back up as raising prices back up is much harder than lowering them. They will eventually be forced to lower prices if this gpu market continues.
I like it. I loved building computers while I was younger but now as I get older I just want things to work and work well out of the box, been getting annoyed of all the small issues I’ve had with my computer and my families computers I’ve built for them. I’ll probably get a few one for myself and 3 others for my brothers and dad. (Price isn’t an issue)
I bought mine in 2018, fully specked with a 2080Ti and an i9. Back then I payed about 3200€, which, at the time, was a lot, but still manageable. But 5000€? That's just too much, especially considering it's bundling a CPU it can't even fully utilize.
The 12900k and 3080Ti build in the UK is £4,299.99. Still very expensive and it doesn't tell you which RAM or SSD you get other than capacity. Think I'll stay with my 5900x and 3070 for now thanks Corsair!!
I so wish they made only the case or even a SFF kit available. I get that they would have to poke holes everywhere to accommodate air-cooled GPUs, but damn.
Just a clarification, when you said that you can keep the cables and replace the power supply I suppose you meant with an exact identical one, right? I just keep hearing horror stories of fried components because they used the same cables for a different psu.
Please make a review for the new ASUS ROG XG249CM monitor. I think it's the best 1080p - 24 inch monitor. Why you abandon this class monitors? A lot of people still are buying monitors with 1080p resolution and it is still relevant.. Please, Nada!
With the memory junction temps so high, I doubt the 3080ti is going to last in the long term. If I remember correctly, level1techs had a card that died because the memory gave out earlier than expected. I wonder if they have any mods that can bring down the temperature on the chips.
If it was air cooled I would so want this. (if I didn't have to pay for it) Still, well done on Corsair for a good system. The small size is good and I think it would be even better if as you mentioned used a lower specced CPU because it would make sense as it can't really use to 100% the one it has. Plus, why not colors? Imagine the same case in chrome orange color, or chrome, or orange. Mmmmm. Thanks for the review.
@@Trusteft I think you're right, I am so glad I found your comment. I was literally about to pull the trigger and buy an i300 but after doing some digging I have found multiple people, including a review on RUclips that confirmed, that it does suffer from throttling

I can't put my own system together for cheaper..... It's about 1500 AUD more but I did add an extra NVME 2TB and a 12900KS rather than K. But still, that doesn't account for 1500 AUD.. more like 500 AUD. So that means in Australia at least, for a 3080ti pre built top of the line system with lots of io and thunderbolt, it's actually not too bad a price, even though there's still sticker shock. Will watch the review now, hopefully you cover cooling and stuff and if it's possible to add an extra nvme or not.
Now how much per part with warranty for 2 years? So 4600 or 3150, how much is added per part with each warranty for 2 years? Also now you're dealing with multiple vendors for any problems.. so you're also paying for the convenience for one company to deal with any of your issues, that's also including 24/7 phone tech support that you won't get from separate warranty.
While not offering the One with an i7, there are setups with a Ryzen 9500x, DDR4 (32GB) and Windows 10 (Home). Those shave roughly €1500 off of the price, which is quite considerable. When Corsair further reduces pricing as a result of the price drops in regards to graphics cards, it could potentially be interesting for business owners as well. For now I prefer to build my high end machines myself since you can customize the system more to fit its purpose and, let's be honest,... it's fun to put a system together.
Not sure how you can add more drive if you have no access to SATA or there isn't even a M.2 slot. I mean you surely would not want to use a USB drive and I also agree with the CPU choice, I doubt that CPU is really the optimal choice for this combo. Also 64 G of RAM is overkill, 32G would be more than enough. And the price isn't attractive at all.
