Parkinson's Disease Program at Helen Hayes Hospital Part 2

Helen Hayes Hospital offers an expansive continuum of care for individuals with Parkinson's Disease, including solid therapeutic programs in speech, physical and occupational therapy using Parkinson’s specific, evidence based practice programming. Individuals that have gone through the physical and/or occupational therapy programs are empowered to continue practicing their individual exercise programming and return to HHH for tune ups every nine months.
A high level PWR! Moves class has been developed to assist in challenging individuals both physically and cognitively and help maintain healthy exercise programming following their therapy. It is taught by a PWR! Certified Therapist and is offered once a week for individuals that fit the criteria. For more information about our Parkinson’s Disease Program or PWR!
