Hi Keith hope you're well. Great video and images, unfortunately no waterfalls near me that I'm aware of. Great images I really like the vibrant colours and the greens in the moss. Best wishes stay safe Jon and Karen
Hi Jon, hope you are both well. There must be some on your travels 😀 you have been to more locations in your videos than the average person, there mush have been a waterfall somewhere lol.
I did start to use them, but this video was a rush job, I’ve not made a video for over a month as I’ve been busy, I used up my backup videos, so I was putting this video together this morning lol. I will put more effort into my videos in the new year 😃
Great video thanks for sharing! What setting did you change when you took the second ETTR image? You brightened it but didn’t say what you changed on the camera.
I appreciate your comment! I apologise, I need to remember to talk through what I do. I adjust the shutter speed to brighten shadows in my photos. Since these shadows usually fall on stationary objects, changing the shutter speed doesn't impact the depth of field. This technique allows me to blend exposures for better lighting while preserving the original water movement from the initial shot.
@keithguppy nice one thanks. I'm getting to grips with photography, just bought a tripod and want to take some similar pics so this video was really handy. You did a far better job of explaining what you're doing than a lot of videos I've watched so keep it up! Subscribed and will check out your other videos too 👍🏼
Very nice images Keith. MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!

Hi Keith. Hope you’re ok mate. Nice video and love the set off images. Have a great Christmas, take care and stay safe. Shawn.
Hey mate. Thanks 🙏🏼 have a great Christmas 🎅
You could also use LUTS on your video to make the color and contrast near as attractive as your still shots

You might have put both images together at the finish so we can see the differences.
I prefer the darker 4-minute exposure
Yes 👍🏻 something I need to remember to do, I forgot this time. I prefer the longer exposure myself too 😃
I love moss
Can’t say I’m too bothered by it, unless it’s adding to my image I can take it or leave it.

Awesome that your into long exposures, one of my favourite type, Thanks for the sub, much appreciated 🙏🏼👍🏻
You better hope we never disrupt that Gulf Stream or you'd be covered in 3 feet of snow right now
I need more snow here, we get it once every few years 🤣
