@@OfficiallyOff I mostly use EVA foam. My preference is 4mm Eva but there are details that require thinner varieties of it.

Using the PVC pipe as for the blade is such a great idea!
THANK YOU! Low-key I just took it as a challenge since I don't have a 3D printer, and making it out of foam would make it too wobbly for that thickness .
Definitely a challenge worth taking. It’d be so much more durable than any 3D print out there plus you get the satisfaction of having made it with your own hands.
@@nosrah9660 Well, heating up PVC actually makes it a bit more susceptible to brittleness, but that's also why I used 2 layers in 1 blade for that :D.

That’s true, but at least if it breaks it’s more likely to chip rather than separate between print layers. That is if it even does chip with normal prop use with the double layer and all the paint.

Definitely would spend less making this than getting the in-game Polearm 💀. Zhongli Banner rerun in 3.0 so I expect it to return but since I'm F2P, I'm not hopeful. Gonna stick to my Support ZL hahaha

Hey, what kind of pen do you use to sketch?
I use a silver gel pen! A regular pen works too but the silver gel pen makes it easier for me to see the cut lines

Yes! Yes you can I suppose since most parts are geometrical instead of bendy ones!
Can we use sand paper to, like, sharpening the edge of eva foam instead of sand tool?
I used sand paper on mine! I only used the steel file on later parts for areas and corners hard to get and finishing.
And for the blade parts of some weapon, which eva foam do you think have the correct thickness that looks good on it? Is it 3mm or 5mm?? The thickest the better? v":

I mean you could still use just Eva foam for the blade itself. Just gotta find a way to make it stiff enough that it doesn't get wobbly with its complicated geometry with a space in the center. My first thought was steel wires and bbq sticks but I found the hardship of PVC more interesting 💀

It's actually a commission to me. I don't have it anymore. It's a local commission since that's all I could accept for now.
