DUSTY1373 we don't go over the speed limit usually, that's why we only have 60 seconds to go in route after the tones go off, we can't help anybody if we never make it to the scene because we have an accident , even if it's not a bad wreck, if we just scratch someone's car we have to stop because you can't leave the scene of an accident.
If my officer rode the Q that hard (especially with virtually no traffic, and no intersections) I'd reach over and smack him. Of course, I don't need to, he knows how to run a Q effectively. Wind it up, let it wind down, repeat. Holding the Q for half a minute is ineffective because it's the change in pitch and tone that drivers hear.
