- The first song is from the pen of Canadian Ray Griff who also wrote 'Canadian Pacific' I believe. It's Marty at his soulful best and comes from his album RFD. The second song 'Worried' is from Marty's 'Devil Woman' album of 1962 and is another great example of the vocal soulful sincerity he possessed.

First time I saw Marty was onstage at THE GRAND OLE OPRY in 1966. A friend and I walked up to the stage as he was singing "Devil Woman." He lookef down and flashed his beautiful smile and I was hooked!!! I saw him numerous times, both onstage and at race tracks. His was one of the best voices ever and I will love him forever.
1966 ws the first I heard Marty. I was playing in a band on Okinawa while in the Air Force. I was new to country music having played rock before I enlisted. The leader heard me sing an old rock tune and had me listen to Marty sining "The Master's Call". I was hooked right there and then. I got to see him in concert here in Pa. a few months before he lefet us. I was taking picctures and was on the right of the stage ready to take a picture, I yelled "Hey, Marty!". He saw I was ready to take a pic and he actually posed for me. Best picture I got of him.
