    How much money do top freelancers make on upwork?? 5k per month?? 10k per month??

    • @AlecG
      @AlecG  28 дней назад +1

      10k is a good estimate for the monthly income range of top freelancers. Though in some fields they can make more. It depends on what you do

      But first you have spend money of connects like 1,50$ for 10 t aply for a job. Avarage cost for a job is 9 connects and it reset monthly or you have to buy it. There is so small chance to get a job compare to cost of connects that it's just scam...

      @@AlecG Yea but if you are graphic designer its extremly difficult, even in good portfolio and expierience.

    • @AlecG
      @AlecG  26 дней назад +2

      @@Mania26 I think I have a good idea what you need to do. You need to specialize in a type of product that sells for a lot of money and make sure that your goal when building your profile is to convey that you are an expert on that kind of product. You dont want to be "another generic replaceable graphic designer" (Dont worry I swear to you I'm not trying to be mean), instead, you want to be one of the best at something specific so that you stand out to the clients who are looking for that specific thing. For example, you could become the expert in a specific style of logo or an expert in website home page design or something like that. Look at high paying projects on Upwork to find inspirations on what you can specialize in. But specialize in something, then make sure you have a professional profile picture that creates a great first impression. Stand out, dont be like everyone else

      @@AlecG I think he is saying why do client reply late

    • @AlecG
      @AlecG  27 дней назад +3

      oh okay, well it's either because the clients are busy doing other things or because you did not seem good enough in their opinion and they decided to work with another freelancer. Making better proposal cover letters can help you get more replies and there are tricks that can allow you to get clients to reply faster like finishing your proposal by asking a question that the client can easily answer so that they decide that its easier to answer your question right away instead of checking the profiles of other freelancers first, and risk forgetting to answer your question. Then you can keep texting them and they might decide to give you the job before they even check the proposals of other freelancers because they can notice in your messages that you are competent enough and that it is easier for them to give you the job right away instead of spending time looking at other people's proposals. I hope this is the kind of advice you were looking for

      @@Nahom-ih5xc Well, I agree that its frustrating, I get that. Its like applying to local jobs too though, sometimes you send your resume somewhere and they never call you back. Thats just how it is when you try to find jobs. And the most frustrating part is when you apply to many jobs and you get no response or almost no response. its frustrating and sometimes you dont know ehat you are doing wrong or why they dont respond. I think the best thing is to increase your perceived value and learn to make better first impressions with your profile and your proposals. there will always be clients who ignore your proposals, but the better your profile and proposals are, the more people will respond and want to work with you
