Location, location, location! Background sound is difficult to deal with unless you have a home studio. Any tips on reducing background sound? Thanks in advance!
A room with soft furnishings. Smaller the space the better. Pull the curtains. Get under a few duvets if you have to. Close micing. As I said, listen to each room with good headphones.
I have been using audacity for years to record voice overs and then send them to our agent. Since The Covid I have set up my closet as my recording space and my brother sent me his baby blue mic and forte which I can not get to work with my Macbook Air. I have no idea how to get this all up and running the simplest way possible for me:( You would never know my father and brother are film editors! lol Any help would be greatly appreciated!
