Instructor doing it on the big GSA. 👍🏻😁
ABS saved me one day on a wet road on an emergency stop….wheel locked, ABS kicked in. Best thing ever. 🥰

Hi Guys, New to the GS 1250 What is the best all weather mode to be safe. I believe that Road Mode gives the best overall??

Apologies for the late response, I've only just returned from my latest adventure. I do remember the instructors saying road or rain mode would be the safest, and I do remember choosing rain mode as a precaution. I would, without a doubt, say it would be the safest mode for all weather conditions.👌

I can't speak for the instructor, Chris Urquhart, but I would say so. The bike has a linked braking system which activates front and rear brakes just by squeezing the front brake lever. I find myself always using the rear anyway out of habit, and for more control, and I'd dare say Chris would be too.
      Cheers 🍻 👍

For the price of one of these things, the closest it's going to get to off road is packed dirt.

As I don’t own a car, and a bike is my transport as well - to me, the price isn’t an issue. It’s the same price as a Camry. I’ll be getting one towards the end of the year. I won’t be enduro riding on it, but it’ll take me places! Things to think on, 5 year, unlimited km warranty. With Ducati, and other companies, you have to pay for the extra three years. (I think for a Multistrada, it’s an extra $1100) I’ve been to plenty of dealers, and I reckon the service is on a whole new level at BMW Motorrad compared to the rest. They also take customers on monthly rides. No other dealer I know offers that. Access to the GS Safaris, which is heavily subsidised by BMW. At least with dealership services, I don’t have to deal with other major chains. On my KTM, I had a pool of oil in my engine guard after the service. It was there when I picked up my bike, lol
