As a woman you really don’t have it all. If you want to be a career woman your home life will suffer. When I decided I wanted to have kids I knew I wanted to be at home to raise them myself. It’s hard and sometimes I miss being at work but I could never replace my life as a mom and wife for anything. I’m happy to be the one taking care of my family!

Amen. I did the same. As a military spouse you make sacrifices, when it comes to your career. Moving every 3 to 4 years. I stopped working to be a stay at home mom. The best decision I ever made. The kids and my husband received the blessings of having home cooked meals everyday. I drive and picked them up from school. Our home was the house all their friends loved to come to , good eats and warm hearts.
I believe we can have it all over the course of our lives. But, having it all, doing it all; something is going to be neglected. There is a season for everything. Focus on the season your in .When that season is over, move on to the next.

I am sick and tired of Tom and Giselle. So is Giselle really mad at Tom to the point of wanting to divorce him, for going back to work because she wants to go back to modelling? That is crazy. I mean modelling is not forever and I believe raising children is more important. Also who gets mad because a husband is working? That is weird and unhealthy.
He is way past his playing age and the age timeframe when football players retire and they had an agreement It seems unfair to expect her to dismiss her dreams. @@cassandracole7498 Maybe those first 5 years until school, work from home, opposite shifts, weekends. Grandparent help if you have it is amazing. We worked opposites shifts. Christmas vacation kids are off for 2 weeks, then you get the fun calls from the nurse that your kid puked in the lunch room. One parent of a student in my class was in tears. She missed a whole week when her kids were sick and of course snow days too. Oh, it's fun. It's great that women can decide what they want to do. I know some stay at home moms that love it and I know some career women that love that too. You just need to find what works for you. And summers people need 3 months of daycare.
