Yes. For story purposes he switched because his grandfather betrayed him. From then on he hated everything to do with his heritage. Game play wise they wanted to bring back kazuya
Kazuya b+1,2 whiffs on smalls very consistenly and no easymode 15f standing launcher. Kazuya possibly has the best WS punishment but not standing, even Kazuya's ff+2, getting the ff input on block can be difficult. It would be different if the notation were u/f+2. With how hard Kazuya's safe offense is, you would think he would get the most effortless defense, or he would get the throws, or he would be the finesse Mishima (since he was beatdown by Hei and Jin across the series) and get the evasives and the Devil gimmicks. But no, Heihachi gets the brute force playstyle but then DJ gets it all and Kazuya is left for those who hate themselves
Never. Kazuya and Devil are same personalities, hence same characters. On the other hand, Devil Jin and Jin are two different personalities inside the same body, hence two different characters.
@@Vitor20XX TTT1 is non-canon so let's leave that. Kazuya merged with the Devil in T4, before that it was like Devil Jin and Jin, same body but two different personalities. Watch Kazuya's T4 ending for clarification.
Kazuya's b+1,2 is still almost perfect for on block punishment, it only whiffs the real smalls wakeup 4 kicks. But Kazuya having the best punishment is a myth. It's quite good, but his 1,1,2 doesn't wallsplat, his RELIABLE 15f punisher doesn't launch, his long range punisher requires a ff input which can get fucked online. His punishment is good, or maybe very good, but for someone who's supposed to be built for defense, I don't think they should have to keep working hard to get their on block punishment. That said, thank Harada (blessings upon him) that they gave Kazuya a good 50 damage 15f punish option now.
Good thing that you mentioned his parry.. Check out the "imperial wrath epicness" video on youtube. That move can parry almost any mid and combos in the game
i don't know why i find kazuya the easiest mishima ,i can do his electrics very well , while i find it very hard to do a single electric with devil jin or heihachi ,and the same thing for the wave dash
It's because of Kazuya's Mist Step. It lets him do the EWGF simply by doing f,N,d/f+2 instead of f,N,d,d/f+2 (it also comes out one frame faster if you do it like that - the Perfect EWGF). You can also do it by doing a perfect Dragon Punch motion (f,d,d/f+2) for the same 13 frame EWGF. Heihachi and Devil Jin (and Jin as well) need to do the full crouch dash motion and still get the right timing to get an Electric, which never come out at anything faster than 14 frames.
Yes devil is the best but lets not pretend kazuya is a scrub. His hellsweep is absolutely unseeable, but as usual kaz main talks down their character. How unusual, kaz is really really fucking good.

in terms of 50/50 you showed us that kazuya 's ws1,2 tracks well on the left. and ws2 can be used out of the wavedash. so kazuya and devil jin are equal in terms of 50/50 at high level. kazuya has more mid launcher while dvj has an unseenable low launch.
Thats what i was thinking too, twin pistons tracks well to the left and his ws2 mixup game is also really good and they also improved the tracking on his ff3 so imo Kaz 50/50s are slightly better
ws2 has way better range than twin pistons though and can at times be harder to punish since it's one fast mid while twin pistons is two hits. Edited: Devil Jin's ws2*.
I believe Kazuyas WS 2 is launch punishable. Thats a very bad move to use as a 50/50 and it's slow and he makes a sound out of it. I'm a Kazuya main so i believe that people are able to read that move and use it against me.
-the range of w1,2 depends of your wavedash. ws 2 is a move which basically means "it's all or nothing". i have noticed that kaz's ff3 tracks very well if it is executed at a certain range. combined with the buff of ewgf, plus his ws out of wavedash kazuya's 50/50 is almost impossible to escape. -kazuya has better counter moves than devil jin. dvj's best counter is b4 shared with kaz -kaz and dvj are even in terms of okizieme. let's not forget that kaz's hellsweep launches in some conditions - kazuya's punishment are better. his b1,2 may have less range than dvj's b1,2 but they have one frame faster. plus his ewgf is one frame faster, and his ws1,2 is 2 frames faster than dvj's ws2. Something you can use to reliably get out of a pressure situation. Heihachi d/f1,1, backdash into ws4,4, and 1, b2 are all examples of “panic moves” for Heihachi in this example. Basically, what makes a good panic is having a fast startup to beat out slower strings, possibly something that won’t get crushed by lows, and is meaty (ergo; something with a lot of active frames - a lot of multi-hit moves can be described as “meaty” since they occupy a wide scope of your opponents recovery animations or can catch people pressing buttons). Note that not all meaty moves are good for defending against pressure since they suffer from slow startup or are easily crushed. I wouldn’t use Heihachi’s d/f1+2 or u/f1,2 when I’m being pressured, but d/f1,1 and K. backdash into ws4,4 are good moves for these situations. In certain cases, using magic 4 is generally a good option but is ultimately dependent on the character and the matchup. Go into practice mode with Heihachi if you need visual representations to see what I’m talking about and you can apply those types of moves to whichever character(s) you play. When is something considered a "panic move"?
First move that comes to mind when you are under pressure. Something so stupid that could turn the tides

Dont forget uf 3. DVJ is a beast damn.
@What's the best way to play Lars ? Why is worse than the other mishima ? @theMainManSwe
Let's face it, Devil Jin is one of the worst cases of Creator's Pet in fighting game history.
Jin is number one. *Get Paul outta here with that phrase!*
Hey mainman! Do You know how to change the color of devil jins fists in customise?
2 words:
Hell. Sweep.
DEAR GOD, HE HIT MY PINKY TOE AT MAX RANGE, I'M BEING FULL LAUNCHED!
GIVE KAZUYA PRESSURE AND POKES HARADA!
Why do people say Heihachi has no throw game when he has ff1+4 vs males , df 2+3 , qcf 1 and ff1+2?
I wouldnt count qcf 1 since its slow and very easy to react and break.
Mainman has a big influence on all these people that don't have a brain for themselves
Qcf 1+3
someone tell me whats the music playing at 8:52. its great
looks like Bryan fury is streaming
It's not that its braindead he just has REALLY good tools now that I think about it playing devil jin even against some pretty good players I never felt like I their wasn't something I can do I never ever felt trapped
Dont be a spoiled brat, you think you are trapped, they are trying harder too. They have to put more effort using and utilizing all the move sets to the best of their abilities, while you have more advantage and you are not using all of them. You gotta respect them for trying hard to get around your already strong character and guessing your 50/50 is not easy for them.
He is the best character, you should know that getting good is not the problem that lies in character, not unless you are playing a trash tier Gigas and then your struggle is real.
@@herokiryu2652 ofcourse dude I completely understand that and I do respect the players I come across some even surprised me by being able to block my 50/50 consistently I'm not saying devil jin is weak by any means I'm just saying that I never felt trapped or helpless against an opponent in the same rank I also have to struggle against them because my character knowledge is not perfect I need to understand their flow charts and how they play before I can beat them
Devil jin players are failed Kazuya and Heihachi players
@@KazuyaKai923 I didn't pick him cuz he is the best I found him to be the most interesting back in tekken 5 on the PSP I was a kid back then but quickly fell in love with the game never liked kazuya and heihachi that much even now I still see devil jin as the most fun mishima this is ofcourse my opinion
Rigel Savage that’s pretty much my experience with devil Jin too. Growing up playing, he always seemed so cool lol
Devil Jin has better punishment than Kazuya. Better long range punishment and also better at punishing moves that recover in crouch.
Step guard my man step guard
Step guard is the sole reason why Mishimas have to time each move so well xd
How do u punish dvj panic move?
Delayed hopkick or side walk left.
If block try to run behind him and use punish ...
Devil jin's 2,2 is actually - on hit
Welp, Season 3 just made this video age horribly.
Lol nah he's still dumb
And Season 4 revived it.
Heihachi does have a WS2 launcher... or does it not count cause it’s only on counter hit?
is the assist thing in the controller option allowed in tournaments?
We all know Bob is the best
But his shirt is pretty low tier.
But his standing punisher is low tier
What about his OP laser!?
Prince Vegeta too slow. see-able
Sidestep
Crouch it, sidestep it, hit him out of it, if you're noctis use warp strike. It's a bad move honestly but you can pull it off pretty reliably if you can read what your opponent is going to do next
I like his down laser after a back 4. Especially near a wall.
If you got hit by the laser, your opponent is playing a game with your head
I'll buy the mixtape of anyone who can name the song that begins at 14:14 , please.
I thought it would be available in the Jukebox in T7 but I haven't been able to find it.
tekken tag tournament 1 ogre
@@chrisderkonig1379 THAT'S IT! Thanks so much! HUGELY appreciated. Put it on my tab.
@@skillustrates no problem ^^ have a great time
Hejsan! TheMainManSWE.
Hoppas att allt är väl med dig. Skulle du gärna kunna göra videon om Tekken Karaktärer, att du exempelvis gör en form av Lore/djupgående Video om Tekken Karaktärer? Tack!
Ha en trevlig dag!
Mvh Abid.
Why can't we get Kazaya devil in the normal TEKKEN we only get that form in tekken tag
I wish we could get him in regular game, even without all the Tekken 7 buffs. Just regular tag 2 transformation would be great
DVJ has too many different moves, that when I saw them, 1st time I thought "shit, he can make long combo of this moves".
Same lol, that's why i picked hin to be my fav. I want to learn his fundamentals and do multiple moves in a combo!
You forgot to mention his basic parry (b1+3/2+4) but yea. That just makes him even more complete.
Luminethereploid didnt know... ty
The rage art of devil jin is low and high crush too
Anyone know the song that starts at 5:44?
ruclips.net/video/CgrdlLpFEEM/видео.html
double chin have no weakness
How do you guys make the joystick work without fail?
How to make devil jin
Combine jin and kazuya
Add fly and laser
Add thunder wind god fist.
Add some unique things
Make his face emo Done.
Is TMM wearing makeup in this video? OR IS HE JUST THAT HANDSOME
Whats The input for The parry?
ı dont know what parry are you talking about but it must be b 1+3
weakness :
his fucking wings are a visual cue
After patch 3.30 this video showed up again in my recommendation.
3:30 is reallly good update for all Mishimas especially DVJ cuz of his consecutive nerfs from past 2 years
He can fly . Case closed
what about Kazuya's DB2 doesn't it track to his weak side?
No db2 alone doesnt track, df 1,2 the 2 tracks to his weak side.
@@patrick-cw5px oh ok, thanks for the info.
The ones with enormous damage for me is
1. Devil Jin & Paul
2. The 2 other Mishimas
3. Miguel
4. Bryan
5. Hwoarang
6. King
Paul?
@@Carlanite Yeah, sorry I forgot
Devil Jin would not be a problem if they buff every character in Tekken. But Harada is playing favourites. I wish they could just buff Gigas and make every bottom tier to B or A tier. Reducing the gap and making it fair.
Devil Jin would still be a big problem even if harada did what you stated. The only way devil Jin won't be a problem is if they made everything about devil Jin unsafe and move everyone up as you stated. But that isn't going to happen. But you still need to know how to play him. Devil Jin is one of those character that if you can't play him properly he will be a mid tier character.
Gigas is buffed now.
