I just hit Bushin on claudio and ive been enjoying playing quick match because the level of play literally changed the moment I did, people are blocking my cheeky shit and know how to actually punish. I love it because im actually losing 0-2 over and over again as I have to readjust how I play once more because the stuff that worked isnt working anymore. Everytime someone consitently ducks and punishes my fff3 makes me smile like an idiot because I know I need to switch or itll keep happening. The journey to be better always continues.
Cos in quick match the rank doesn't meant anything, I face Tekken king characters and win "easily" and some fujin rank with 170k Tekken progress that destroyed me and they were much better than most of Tekken king I faced
Same for me, i just hit Tekken King with Claudio too, and DAMN, i can't even do 3,2 or b4,1 to poke, people knows to duck, sidestep and punish everything, but It helps me to readjust my Claudio to a higher level
The limited movelist must be a problem in those ranks, you have to be really creative and you can run out of ideas once your main commands are countered/read easily, I'm still in Ruler ranks with Claudio and I also find limitations that make me stop having ideas of what to try. In Rulers people start avoiding easy wr2 both with ss and ducking, even at range 1 with iwr (my thumb is not super fast, but I can do it decently)... As it is the only good plus frames on block, I lose my pressure.
@@ivyy8221 This is why having mids like b1, b3 or db1+2 is so important, so you have multiple options rather than giving up your turn outright like most Claudio's mids. Something a lot of people who don't play Claudio all that much do not understand, he has some of the simplest pressure to understand, a lot of the pressure the he would prefer to do is deceptively fake and most of his key strings end in very duckable highs.

@@Vaeynhearttrue i main Bryan and the only thing he doesn’t have is poking and good 10 and 12 frame punish but he don’t need that otherwise he will be broken i think they did a great job they juste need to tone down a bit qcf 1+2 tracking imo
@@Vaeynheart A take that doesn't explain the slump players get with him between intermediate and master ranks as shown by his drop in the advanced category. If easy execution and gameplan were the factors making him better at the highest level of play it would not face inconsistencies at that threshold. As far as his level of difficulty goes elite players consider him difficult so I rather believe them. Your points support his success at the intermediate level though but more than that is a stretch.
It’s so easy to get mad at this game. The knowledge checks, the ki charging, the spam, the rank bouncing up and down, having to watch the same throw animation, the same heat animation, the same rage animation over and over, it can be rough. Dying to a kuma that just knowledge checks you and then ki charges and taunts you is annoying as heck and can be so aggravating. But we just gotta take it a step at a time because once we demolish those kinda people and inevitably learn and grow, the fun is there to be had.
Yeah the Ki charges aggravate me too. Honestly, there have been times when I actually sit back and admire my opponent for completely reading me towards the end of the round. Then the mofo ki charges at the end and I get mad. It helps motivate me to beat his/her ass on rematch though and I sometimes end up returning the favor. And once I'm done I do feel dirty, like I stooped to their level. I do wish there was a "well played" that I can send to my opponent instead though...kill 'em with kindness and all that.
I turned on the magic mirror in the settings so at least i don’t see people ki charging at the end of rounds, so that’s something. Personally, the only thing that pisses me off about Tekken is that people can go full ungabunga with some characters, like, you look at it and you see that there is 0 thought put into their gameplan, yet it can be way too effective.
I’m one of those who get bodied regularly by Jack in blue ranks. Idk, that character just confuses me. I try to read what they are about to do and then get demolished by the complete opposite.
I'm a new Tekken player and a Jack player just bodied me. It doesn't help that my punish game and footsies are trash right now or that I'm playing Kazuya and that's what his character is, lol. Thank God for replays because I was letting that Jack get away with murder (but I feel like I would've been fine if, again, my punish game and footsies weren't garbage)
So fun fact, I'm one of those players who got fed up with ranked, so I started hanging in lounge and a discord. I play Reina. I went through a gauntlet of playing against tekken gods and people near that level. I got curious "have I improved since I quit ranked at mighty ruler" I reenter just to test myself against my previous rank and I start bodying people like it's nothing because yes, if you play people at a higher skill level you are going to improve.
I did the same with reina. It was a while ago I got to red rank. Started playing people higher level than that. Went back in ranked and breezed through red.
The reason nobody knows the matchups esp with jack is cause we dont have deathmatch anymore. Tekken used to reward you more for rematching. Ft2 is terrible for skill levels. I implore everyone find a discord in your area.
As a Lili main it's really interesting to me how her ranked win rates are amongst the lower half in intermediate and advanced levels but are amongst the top 5 in master level- my God statistics are amazing
i know its because of the play rate of these characters, but seeing jin under devil jin on win rates in top ranks is INSANE to me, but it makes sense at the same time
Most Lili players, if not all, that I face online are not spammers and have an idea about what they're doing. Ppl call Lili cheap but since Tekken 7, she's been a character that kinda force people to have fundamentals.
Just throwing this out there, don’t let the rank distribution discourage you. Be proud of where you are, and look forward and work hard to where you will be. ❤
@@chucklos391 as long as you can react to the blue homing lines on a throw and press 1+2 if its not there, and 1 or 2 if it is there, you'll be fine against 90% of the cast, throw break windows on non-grappler characters like drag and king, are wayyyy longer than you think, and most characters only have generic throws and then a 1+2 break.
As someone who just got Jack to blue without really labbing, intermediate players indeed just let me go into stance and blocked the kick instead of ducking. I rarely if ever had to use his mid out of the stance because they were just looking to tech the grab
@jaleelkahn7032 if you're talking about what I'm saying? Most people just let Jack rock in red -> blue ranks If you're talking about what tmm is talking about, learn a character that has low usage rate and rob these fellas that don't lab every matchup (It's me, I'm fellas that don't lab every matchup) blind
@@AnthonyYang002 yeah, I feel like Jack has enough against its kit and is so rare that labbing becomes iffy. I should at least have known in all this time that it has a stance though lol. Of course it does right
The craziest thing is that Jack goes straight from top 5 win rates in intermediate and advanced to the absolute bottom 1 in master ranks The whiplash the players must feel at Tekken God must be insane
2:08 100% agreed, I am at Busin with my highest character and could probably easily get to Tekken King but my desire to do so is zero. 200k prowess means that my player match MMR will still be mostly balanced and I get normal matches with an ok spread up and down instead of having to sweat hard the entire time. System is just fundamentally ill thougt out.
"This bear player just picks them cause they just don't know what they doing!!!" *Runs up to bear player and tries to use high to low or mid to low combination and gets low parried." 😮
The thing that fucks me up when my friend plays Jack is the lack of visual clarity on what's a low and what's a mid. idk, maybe I'm just huffing my copium.
I hope they bring back pauls tekken 4 outfit, hair included... alternatively, they could add the hair and shirt as a battlepass item for all guys, that would be awesome too :D
it's very important to note that all of these data dumps are taken only from recent games. that means it's only currently active players, notwithstanding a few casuals who randomly play the game once or twice per month. fujin is absolutely not the average or most common rank of everyone who has ever played tekken 8 (literally millions of people)
@@ChestyMcGee Eddy's capoeira finally made sense so it clicked and I decided to main him. I went for Fujin because it had colors that reminded me of the Brazilian flag. I'm going to try and do ranked with a different character now. I just don't know who. Eddy can stay there in peace.
I just hit tekken emperor yesterday i am so happy from a casual legacy player i just took it a litle serious and from mighty ruler skill i skilled up with knowledge and and skill moveset to gold ranks before season 2 i want to go tekken god before January
I have a theory that king win ratio is bad because the character is easy (in lower - intermediate ranks) and by being so, it concentrates the worst players. I have a positive win ratio against kings. They do all the bullshit they want, and then once u figure out how to counter that, they just fall over
Why do people get so stressed out when playing ranked? Your rank is not a perfect reflection of your skill, so demotions effectively mean nothing; what matters is how you learn from your losses. And as someone who frequently plays unranked to warm up/test out new characters, I find the people playing quick matches to be a million times more toxic than those who play ranked. So, I doubt they’re avoiding ranked to stay away from BM players. We had the same phenomenon in the StarCraft community with what we called ‘ladder anxiety’ in SC2; I never understood it there either. Imagine if athletes or racecar drivers got stressed out and stopped playing when they didn’t win a game or finished poorly in a race. If you just want to have fun and play other players at your level without worrying about improving, by all means, enjoy yourself. But if you’re going to avoid ranked because you got demoted by a snake edge-spamming Xiaoyu with 40 defense who taunted you after you lost, fuck them. Watch the replay, figure out what you could’ve done differently, and learn how to block/sidestep the moves you had trouble with. Then, go to bed with the satisfaction of knowing that will never happen to you again and that spamming Xiaoyu may have won a couple of matches against you, but they’ll never be as good at the game as you.
Climbing up the ranks can be stressful because of how you lose a LOT of progress per loss. The stress worsens when you add toxic players and/or uncommon characters to the mix. Getting knowledge-checked you to death is unfun at the best of times, now imagine that's how you lose your promotion chance/get demoted.
Lol your comparison here is a touch on the melodramatic side. You cannot compare gaming ladder anxiety to job professions. Ladder anxiety is fairly well documented in the gaming psychology space. I'd suggest reading up on it to understand it better if you are interested.
I find it funny that at intermediate ranks, Jin has a pretty poor win rate and yet, it's at these ranks that most of the players complain that he's over-tuned. The Jin haters say he wins games for you but the data clearly shows he doesn't.
Does Fujin being the average rank take into account alternate characters that get leveled up from your main? Like if high ranked players are hopping onto a second or third character they are likely to be around Fujin rank
I like how with Leroy and Fahk in T7 people were like "oh sure they're popular because they're busted, but they also have really good designs, especially Leroy, so naturally lots of players like them" Yeah, right. Just look at Leroy being less popular than Jack-8 and only slightly more popular than Kuma. Did his design change? Not at all. It's just that he became a regular character in terms of his strength, and now we can see the real picture of how popular the character is and how much people like him (not that much, right?) Pretty sure It would be around the same with Fahk, unless ofc devs will make him busted again, but I really hope I'll never see this character in any Tekken game ever again.
The fact that kumas buttattack is not changed makes me kinda lose faith in the Tekken balance department, same for his electric and his 13frame high crushing groundhiting plus frames on block heatsmash ...
Ok.. let’s stop this. Those bottom 3 characters have been around for years and the “people still don’t know what they’re doing” excuse is still a thing. Also, we still can’t read charts.. win rates are higher for least played characters because they’re not played. Dj didn’t fall off, they jumped to Hei.
@BlackJustice2637 Lmao, that's a cope answer and you know that. For starters, Alisa is not popular at all. She's lower on the popularity list than Nina who's top 5 in the high rank win ratio list, while Alisa is literally bottom 5. Xiaoyu who's also right behind Alisa in the popularity list, is also 20 positions higher in the win ratio list. So clearly, popularity has nothing to do with Alisa's case. And according to TMM, Alisa is an extremely easy yet hard to beat auto pilot character, so she has no business being this low. Then you have Heihachi who is hailed by TMM as an extremely fair character, while also being very popular, still being very high on the list. Then you'll say "that's because no one knows the match up yet", but what is there to know when every one and their mother (including TMM) are just telling you to SSL and not duck and you'll win? Or maybe, he actually isn't weak to SSL and has threatening lows/highs/grabs, but everyone's been lying about it? Surely not! Even Lili, who won an Evo (on everyone's radar), nerfed harder than Drag ever was in this game, while being very popular, is still very high on the list. At least she shouldn't be higher than Jin, but she is.
@azaku9755 that is only because people think it makes no sense to pick Panda when Kuma had better options and is largely the same. I do not think people place Panda there solely for strength.
@@brentthompson1607 If you play Panda at high level, you will realize how hard it is to beat someone. You know Kuma has one of the best heat in the game and still is not considered top 10. Panda has bad heat.
Zafina has high win rates in the USA and Europe, but fewer in the Middle East. You would struggle in ranks with Zafina as they will likely block your d3 on reaction and punish your attempts at using her trt stance.

Yeaah the ranked system is mostly a "feel good"-system for new players in T8. I personally consider blue ranks still somewhat beginner ranks in T8 and then ranked starts somewhat after that with a huge spike in skill after Tekken King/Emperor.
@@DespairMagic a lot of people just cheese or using flowcharts in blues even, they dont know anything about how game works so a lot of blue players are beginners. However, if you trying to figure it out and play somewhat defensively, which is hard as hell, you can still be in blue ranks while not being beginner at all.
@@DespairMagic They are considered the new red ranks by many old players. So not beginner completely my bad. But really you shouldnt think too much about rank. It really does not matter in this game
this confirms thats there is a kuma jack and zafinia that are stopping me from ranking past rijin and raina but thats a personal issue of hating labbing
The takeaway is any character in rank has between 55/48% winrate, so the matchmaker works effectively at its goal to make balanced matches. Due to negativity bias having a 50/50 W/L ratio you will hate playing the game, it needs at least 66/33 W/L ratio to feel successful which stops when reaching your final rank where it normalizes to 50/50 W/L.
Bryan's winrate is so high cuz y'all overestimate how difficult he is, sure in high ranks he is a really difficult character, but in mid to low ranks he can just 3+4 and b21 his way through everything, and people in those ranks are too impatient to block and Bryan loves that.
Being a King main, these stats do bring a smile to my face. Being a top pick jn popularity but being below average in winrate? The amount of times you’ll get told the character is easy is absurd. Is he execution heavy? Meh, that’s up for debate. But I find his gameplan and strategy to be more intricate: stop your opponent from moving around too much so you can throw them!
Tekken King is now categorized as intermediate rank. Maybe someday Tekken God Supreme or even GoD at certain level, will turn out into intermediate rank too 😅
Are playrates and rank distributions based on individuals or on games played? That feels like important context as to why fujin is so highly ranked, and would explain the large number of battle rulers, since those would be the fujins deranking and getting the rank back.
I don’t care if you are playing a strong character or not. Tekken Ranked becomes so much harder when you are playing a popular character that everyone knows the match up. Especially Tekken King and up, people automatically duck everything with Jin in Tekken God+ 😂
I agree with that intermediate Jin win rate. stance mixup in intermediate is hell, and i fight over 20 jins than a lars in intermediate. Intermediate Jin and Drag are so bad because they play mixup and strings on a strong poking character. lol
Rank means nothing in this game, play to improve, not to get a shiny ADHD stimulant rank As you improve your rank changes, that's all it is there to represent. GoD has some fucking awful players that just play a metric shit ton of games, I face a lot of them when playing ranked and wonder how tf they got out of Fujin.
It's not the average, the average is still among red ranks, it's just the most populated single rank. Ex: there's a building with 100 people and that building is fujin, on the other hand there are several buildings, the red ranks, that have in total 10000 people living in them. So fujin is the single most populated place but it doesn't house the average population of tekken.
Crazy that Lee was put "trash tier" by arslan and is considered pretty low on most tier lists but he's a middle of the pact pick rate character with a top 10-15 win rate across intermediate, advance, and master players. Something about Lee is doing well online and its not him being obscure...
That's because lee players are 3 ranks below what they should be and by the time you get good with him, you get good. Others get carried and then demoted, then carried and demoted again. The lowest picked characters are just so rare that they aren't affected by that 😆 Just like kazuya being bottom 1 for intermediate ranks and much higher for high ranks.
It’s because either most people don’t know the matchup and get steamrolled or Lee players have overall better fundamentals than most other players because you need strong fundamentals to be good with him. But then again this chart isn’t an indication of how good he is because Arslan ranked his tier list in the context of the highest level of play
@@VermilionGates the tier list is based on characters used as optimally as possible, which also happens to be his competition. That’s what tier lists usually consists of in fighting games, lower leveled players can’t really comprehend tier lists like these because they don’t have the same matchup knowledge, don’t play their characters optimally, or just straight up don’t have the same skill set.
@@Fleez311 Yeah, that's what I said more or less. Doesn't change my point that Arslan's tier list doesn't apply to 99% of the playerbase. For most players (including online GoDs as shown by winrate) Lee would be effective enough to be at least A tier. He has more than enough tools to be a strong character, and I have yet to see any arguments as to how he is actually a weak character besides "he requires some work and fundamental skill". You can say the same about Bryan, yet Bryan is now being put in top 10 or top 11

I’ve played pretty much every day since the game came out (that’s why I have so many hours) but feel like I’m just smashing my head against a wall whenever I try and rank up or just gain any level of improvement at all. Rules for playing ranked - 1. don't get annoyed like a child 2. after you lost 1st game you press rematch without thinking 3. you try to play better then this mofo 4. If you still lose you throw your controller and jump up and down for 2mins 5. open message to player and write: thx ggs m8, well played
Also, if you fail at the first point, just turn off the game. If you’re pissed off and you continue playing, you’ll play a lot worse, lose even more, get even more pissed off and then you’re in the infinite cycle of losing as long as you don’t calm down, which won’t happen if you keep playing.

As far as his level of difficulty
goes elite players consider him difficult so I rather believe them.
Your points support his success at the intermediate level though but more than that is a stretch.
9:30 Fujin player here. I have about 4 matches against Jack under my belt. Whatever this robot is doing, I just block and pray.
I'm god with my main and have multiple characters in gold ranks and I still struggle against jack sometimes. Don't get discouraged.
But we just gotta take it a step at a time because once we demolish those kinda people and inevitably learn and grow, the fun is there to be had.
there is a mirror item that blocks player inputs at the end of the round if that helps
Because most chars who win vs jack instead of trying to read just push him nonstop with fast attacks he cannot sidestep.
@@Zagryzaec TRUE our sidestep is abysmal lmao. Plus Jack has little counter vs a constant pressure opponent.
So what all this data is telling me.. is I gotta pick up Shaheen now
🎉 knowledge check for life brotha😮
You will win a lot it's very effective with Shaheen
Just throwing this out there, don’t let the rank distribution discourage you. Be proud of where you are, and look forward and work hard to where you will be. ❤

I’m still Beginner and haven’t touched Rank. Just learning my character. Until I can break throws I won’t play Rank.
@@chucklos391My throw breaks are terrible and I've hit Tekken King 4 times and Fujin with 10 other characters. Throw breaks aren't needed to climb
@@AbsolutelyAbsurDDD not If you limit the rank to Tekken King. But try going above that without throwbreaks
As someone who just got Jack to blue without really labbing, intermediate players indeed just let me go into stance and blocked the kick instead of ducking. I rarely if ever had to use his mid out of the stance because they were just looking to tech the grab
yea most ppl in these ranks never ss or mash after moves which jack punishes hard
No idea what any of that means. I might as well find out but then use that data in 3% of matches
@jaleelkahn7032 if you're talking about what I'm saying? Most people just let Jack rock in red -> blue ranks

Yooo buff guy!
I mean at that rank being a sweat lord is a given
2:08 100% agreed, I am at Busin with my highest character and could probably easily get to Tekken King but my desire to do so is zero. 200k prowess means that my player match MMR will still be mostly balanced and I get normal matches with an ok spread up and down instead of having to sweat hard the entire time.
I reached Fujin back in September. I was so happy and proud
it's very important to note that all of these data dumps are taken only from recent games. that means it's only currently active players, notwithstanding a few casuals who randomly play the game once or twice per month. fujin is absolutely not the average or most common rank of everyone who has ever played tekken 8 (literally millions of people)
@@ChestyMcGee Eddy's capoeira finally made sense so it clicked and I decided to main him. I went for Fujin because it had colors that reminded me of the Brazilian flag.

Ah okay, so ultimately Garyu.
@albescentrose7225 scrub mentality guys avoid these kind of talking bcs you will. Never see gold Ranks like That kid Here .
Very well said and I 100% agree!
I see why they made tekken a lot easier now, than previous iterations.. seriously, you kids are insanely soft what is this essay
Because emotional IQ is an alien concept for most people
I find it funny that at intermediate ranks, Jin has a pretty poor win rate and yet, it's at these ranks that most of the players complain that he's over-tuned. The Jin haters say he wins games for you but the data clearly shows he doesn't.
I'm personally jacking up them Kuma numbers woohaahaa
Does Fujin being the average rank take into account alternate characters that get leveled up from your main? Like if high ranked players are hopping onto a second or third character they are likely to be around Fujin rank
I like how with Leroy and Fahk in T7 people were like "oh sure they're popular because they're busted, but they also have really good designs, especially Leroy, so naturally lots of players like them"
Yeah, right. Just look at Leroy being less popular than Jack-8 and only slightly more popular than Kuma. Did his design change? Not at all. It's just that he became a regular character in terms of his strength, and now we can see the real picture of how popular the character is and how much people like him (not that much, right?)
Pretty sure It would be around the same with Fahk, unless ofc devs will make him busted again, but I really hope I'll never see this character in any Tekken game ever again.
TMM casually avoiding commenting on Jin/drag being low or Alisa being bottom 5 in win ratio at higher levels.
He already talked about them? The more popular the character, the more the match up is learned
Kuma and panda are not carried by knowledge checks the same way Zafina is. Kuma and panda are very strong
Panda is considered the worst character by like 99% of the pro players…
@azaku9755 that is only because people think it makes no sense to pick Panda when Kuma had better options and is largely the same. I do not think people place Panda there solely for strength.
@@brentthompson1607 If you play Panda at high level, you will realize how hard it is to beat someone. You know Kuma has one of the best heat in the game and still is not considered top 10. Panda has bad heat.
Shaheen supremacy, surfs up🤙🏾🏄🏾♂️
Zafina has high win rates in the USA and Europe, but fewer in the Middle East. You would struggle in ranks with Zafina as they will likely block your d3 on reaction and punish your attempts at using her trt stance.
I just recently peaked in raijin and tapped into kishin. For the first time in my life. I'm grinding SO hard... Have over 200 hours in the game now. And then I see people who actually use special styles and can't even play the game and they're in the same rank as me... I'm so pissed...
I feel you man
Yeaah the ranked system is mostly a "feel good"-system for new players in T8.
I personally consider blue ranks still somewhat beginner ranks in T8 and then ranked starts somewhat after that with a huge spike in skill after Tekken King/Emperor.
No way in hell are blue ranks a "beginner" rank. No fucking way. That cannot be true in the slightest.

Qudans did the same thing, he was using DJ for a while and dropped him for Hei 😂
I love having a well executed combo that works on my Kazuya dummy just drop on larger characters like Kuma to steal them the win.
Got to emperor then got demoted. I’ve been sitting at king for 6 months now cause I refuse to sacrifice my sanity again playing ranked in Tekken😭
I've been Tekken king with Kazuya since July and I've been trying to get other characters high too,
1:30 the french accent got me xD
this confirms thats there is a kuma jack and zafinia that are stopping me from ranking past rijin and raina but thats a personal issue of hating labbing
Note Lars drop from intermidate to high level
Tekken King is now categorized as intermediate rank. Maybe someday Tekken God Supreme or even GoD at certain level, will turn out into intermediate rank too 😅
So called "deflated" ranking system, lol
Are playrates and rank distributions based on individuals or on games played? That feels like important context as to why fujin is so highly ranked, and would explain the large number of battle rulers, since those would be the fujins deranking and getting the rank back.
It’s based on player count
Higher ranks on 2nd or 3rd characters
I'm glad to see LAW at the bottom for win ranks. They'll rank him so high on the tier list but in reality, he's not as good as most people think.
in any tekken since 6 top winrates was always kuma-panda-zafina (+capos ttt2), but for unknown reason all this characters are rated as low tier
Intermediate Jin and Drag are so bad because they play mixup and strings on a strong poking character. lol
Tekken beginner here, Fujin being average rank is kidna soulcrushing, i was so proud of getting Garyu recently and turns out it's shit
Rank means nothing in this game, play to improve, not to get a shiny ADHD stimulant rank
As you improve your rank changes, that's all it is there to represent.
GoD has some fucking awful players that just play a metric shit ton of games, I face a lot of them when playing ranked and wonder how tf they got out of Fujin.
This game is so hard dude, be proud that you even can play it at all and not going crazy
Fujin isn't the average it's just the most populated... And ur garyu mean ur getting there... Keep up the grind
1:57 so fucking real, I don’t even play ranked anymore after hitting god it’s like I beat the game, literally so annoying now
Crazy that Lee was put "trash tier" by arslan and is considered pretty low on most tier lists but he's a middle of the pact pick rate character with a top 10-15 win rate across intermediate, advance, and master players.
Something about Lee is doing well online and its not him being obscure...
That's because lee players are 3 ranks below what they should be and by the time you get good with him, you get good. Others get carried and then demoted, then carried and demoted again. The lowest picked characters are just so rare that they aren't affected by that 😆
Just like kazuya being bottom 1 for intermediate ranks and much higher for high ranks.
It’s because either most people don’t know the matchup and get steamrolled or Lee players have overall better fundamentals than most other players because you need strong fundamentals to be good with him.
But then again this chart isn’t an indication of how good he is because Arslan ranked his tier list in the context of the highest level of play
Arslan's tier list is based off his matches at the extreme highest level of play. It's not a reasonable tier list for 99.9% of the playerbase

I’ve got 900 hours in the game and I’ve been stuck in blue ranks for like 3 or 4 months, I’m new to tekken, at least in a taking it seriously kinda way, and it’s super demotivating knowing that I reached that rank was super proud and then had the entire playerbase catch up to me. I’ve played pretty much every day since the game came out (that’s why I have so many hours) but feel like I’m just smashing my head against a wall whenever I try and rank up or just gain any level of improvement at all. If I come across an opponent that plays fundamental tekken and doesn’t spam bullshit the entire time I feel like I can out fundamental them almost every time but it’s the bullshit that holds me back I feel like. No matter the amount of labbing I do I just get hit with some shit that I don’t know how to deal with. Its pretty much league of legends ranked grind mentality wich if properly approached leads to succses^^
Also, if you fail at the first point, just turn off the game. If you’re pissed off and you continue playing, you’ll play a lot worse, lose even more, get even more pissed off and then you’re in the infinite cycle of losing as long as you don’t calm down, which won’t happen if you keep playing.
