- My husky found love at first sight with a collie around the block...this is their love story!
When we first moved to this town, Levi had no friends, although he did try to make them! Unfortunately though, none of the dogs were friendly. Until he met Ellie!
He met Ellie through her fence, and after their first encounter, he became obsessed with returning. Every day he'd wine to go see her, and every day we'd walk past to see if she was there.
Well, one day Ellie's wonderful owners saw them at the fence and invited Levi in to play... the rest is history.
Checking to see if Ellie is home is just part of our daily routine now! When she's home and her owners are outside, they invite Levi in. I feel so grateful to be in such a friendly neighborhood!

Aww, I dont think people realize just how much dogs need to socialize. My husky mix actually gets kinda sad when she goes for a walk and doesnt see any other dogs.
Aw that's so sweet! Our doggie doesn't love other dogs but looks sad when no other humans pet him
That's so considerate of Ellie's owners to let Levi come over and play with her. They know it's beneficial for both dogs so why not? ❤ Lots of love for good dog owners.

The two are so cute together. I had a Border Collie where it was the same story with an Australian shepherd lady. They were also absolutely in love and couldn't stop chasing each other.
Wonderful story. There is a misconception about Huskies. We've heard comments like "Wolves" You name it! Best Dogs ever!

They aren't even related, and it bugs me when people say that huskies come from wolves. They don't.

This reminds me of my boy Red. When we first got him, he was very shy and timid (came from an abusive situation before being rescued), and he was having a hard time adjusting, but then new neighbors moved in literally to the apartment right next to us (we actually shared a wall), and they had a pit-bull mixed named Pele. And Pele was just the sweetest, calmest, most gentle dog ever, and Red fell in love with her right away. He’d be so excited to see her every day, they’d play and play and play for as long as possible until we finally had to say goodnight. Meeting Pele really helped him find his confidence and come out of his shell. And when her owners sadly had to move away, he looked for her for weeks. He bounced back eventually, but she was definitely his first love.

@@LeviTheHuskyRescue I wish Duke was gay like me…but he loves the ladies! Hehe. Like Levi, Duke adores my friend’s whippet, Isabella, who lives next to me…there’s a fence between our properties and the two of them run the length of the fence back and forth about 5-6 times a day. Of course she beats him every time. Sometimes we’ll take them on walks together and they have a blast. 😍❤️🐶

I’ve never had a dog that enjoyed play with other dogs. She gets excited to see them, wags her tail, wants to say hello, but if they show interest she growls. She does not cower or get aggressive, just does not what them in her space and stands her ground.
However there is a husky in her life that she is obsessed with, probably because the husky won’t even give her the time of day!
My pup is a standard poodle, they are a strange breed for sure

So nice when a husky finds a mate! I adopted a male husky and six months later my other male passed away. We setup many meet and greets with other adoptable female huskies and none would work until we stopped at this one female husky's house. Kolya walked up to her and it was love at first sight for both of them. One huge fire and 2 years later, they still are best friends and they allow me to share their love.
