- This week we try a technique for draping fabric in Miniature. It worked out really well and I would love to show you the method and the final results! We also lay a new carpet in my Antique Dolls House sitting room. Hope you enjoy :)
If you would like to see us finding the things we use pop over to our other channel "Mudlarking With Kit + Caboodlers" - / @mudlarkingwithkitcabo...

Sunny is rubbing himself on your miniatures because he is adding his smell to yours,it’s a sign of love. 🙂💖🐈🐈⬛
The room is so cozy and luxurious looking, the red and gold/yellow does that I think.
Thats how I made the little basket I sent you. Its great is'nt it? I have also made a string of sailing boats on a garland using a thicker mix. Your parlour is looking great Fleur and its surprising just how much you had in it when you had it all out onthe tray. I really enjoyed that thank you for sharing your crafts with us.
So great to see you had Sunny cat's help. I've missed him. Room looks very cozy. The short videos are nice too, so when we only have a little time to watch, we still get a relaxing visit with you two sweet ladies. God bless.
Was a clever idea in making the tablecloth with PVA and water. The carpet looks good and makes the room homely. Great to see sunny helping
Lovely room designing, ladies! I love all your videos, both indoors and out. So down to earth and sweet. Thank you for being a bright spot in my life.😘
Ladies that was ingenious what you did to cover the tables with the watered down pva solution and what a beautiful cushion cover it looks fabulous as a new carpet.
I love the carpet.
You have so many lovely treasured items that you’ve both found and made for the doll house. Fabulous ❣️thanks for sharing 🥰
Great tip for fabric draping, I like the little lace tablecloth, still so intrigued by all the tiny things you can make for a dollhouse...
I learn so much watching you!
Great job done. That room looks lovely. A perfect carpet well spotted in your buy of a pillow.
The watered down PVA on cloth was a very handy hint. 😊x
Love it, the carpet, the tables, everything ❤❤❤ thank you both 🥰🥰🥰
My cat will look for the smallest scrap of fabric and failing that the smallest piece of paper to make herself comfy. But she is 12 years old so she more or less runs the household. I love the way you speak to sunny....such love there. I thank you for that.
Great trick for shaping things. Thank you for sharing.
Adorable, love how much joy you have with the transformation of the sugar box into this busy Victorian family home. Well done 🥰
That little bit of color on the table really draws everything together with the new carpet.
That carpet is gorgeous and the table cloths wows me
Love this channel and all the doll houses thank you ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Sonny is such a help with miniatures. Just like my cats. They want to help and make off with the bits I am working on.
Thecroom looks gorgeous! And any length of time is good. Short or long, I'm always happy to watch.
The room does look quite luxurious! The carpet is gorgeous and so is the table cloth! So pretty!
Yes 👍🏻 you made that carpet like a glove it fits perfectly. Also covering the tables was a great idea 💡 I love all your projects! Enjoy your life 😊
Super cool method for draping fabric, thanks for sharing! The room looks great. 😊
well done joint project. your accents are wonderful.
I'd like a room done in the wallpaper on the wall in that little room! I've used that method for something similar before and that room looks wonderful! I look forward to next week's video.
It came up beautifully, lighter and warm! I enjoy hearing you both, your voices have become so familiar, like good friends! Best wishes to you both🌟
I didn't know that you could do that with glue and fabric. Thank you for the tip!❤
Short is good as well.
Lol you will still be putting in new things and none of the rooms will ever stay exactly the same. That’s the fun of having the dollhouse. Excellent video Lovely table cloth and doily. I learned something new.
Love the carpet and both table covers. They drape beautifully!
This was ingenious! Thank you for teaching us this technique!
The carpet looks great. It goes so well with the wall paper.
The carpet and table cloths look amazing, and I love that Sunny enjoys playing with the dolls houses, looking forward to your Easter video.

Fleur, it turned out beautifully! The carpet is perfect! ❤
Funny Sunny :)
The cushion cover worked really well as a rug! (And tablecloth, bonus)
The room looks great! Like everyone else, I love your videos... so relaxing and yet interesting! I"m looking forward to your next project. Thank you for making and sharing these videos!
Loved! 😃
The carpet is a perfect recycle. Love how you glued the velveteen tablecloth
and trimmed and shaped it to drape.
Thanks for sharing. Anne Minnick, Massachusetts, USA.Carpe Diem. Namaste.
Wonderful as always! I recently discovered the drapes method after spending endless hours trying to hand sew & iron very satiny, fine fabric curtains for an Edwardian dolls’ house….lesson learned!
How charming! The new carpet is beautiful and rich looking. And I would have never considered using stiffener to mold the tablecloth.
Love your imagination ♥️ great job love all your videos
The carpet is perfect and really pulled the whole room together! 😍
Beautiful room, that is a great idea with the pva glue and water, the draping turned out gorgeous. Thank you so much for sharing that idea 💕
🙋♀️❤ Short but sweet! The parlor is darling!
This was wonderful- I love the way the room looks! Coincidentally, today I thrifted a velvet blouse in the same colour, thinking I would use it for dolls' house curtains, but now I can't decide whether to wear it or cut it up- it is a 100% rayon crushed velvet, probably from 1980's.
It's a truly beautiful room with all those trimings
I think you ladies have all the "goodies" for a Victorian General Store!! I can see all the wonderful items from that Era and fun, you could have filling it. Great video once again, thank you.😊
Sonny is a lovely assistant!!
This was very helpful and timely. Thank you. What a comfy room.
The room looks marvelous, Fleur! 💝
Wonderfully done! Thanks so much for showing us this technique!
The needlepoint cushion made a beautiful rug. You may need another dollhouse, you have so many items in the parlor.😊
I check everyday, and I get a tickle when I see a new video, I love you both so much!!!!
I love forward to your videos!! You both are so fun and so talented
Love it.
I love the new carpet and the draping lesson.
It works really well as a carpet. The room looks gorgeous x
What a great trick with the fabric and pva looks so effective 👍
❤❤❤
Looks lovely I like the idea for the carpet matches the cushions and the draped fabric is a great idea
The carpet really pulls the room together, I love the Pva and water idea, I will definitely use that idea for my own dolls house, Thank you for sharing xx
What a good idea for a carpet . Looked great and fab tip for doing table drapes . Il pinch that idea when I make a bed for miniature I’m learning to make along with other ideas from you both x
Delightful parlour. Clever technique.
Early on when you 1st started making videos I think you showed us your fireplace mantle with all your decorations for Christmas you had so many wonderful things I wish that you would show us your Easter decorations in your house Or for that matter for every holiday.
The house is looking lovely. I’m in the process of making a mirror to hang above the fireplace in my 1940s themed house.
Long or short videos, they are all well done. You really do a great job with the music selections.
Thank you for showing the process of molding the material. I surely didn't know about this. ♥️👩🦳🌺
The carpet is gorgeous! And I am so impressed with your idea about soaking the fabric in the glue and water in order to make it drape properly! I’m just adding that to the list of things that I have learned from you like using blue tack to get bedding to not stick out the sides of the bed. It has always irritated me when fabric doesn’t drape properly, and you have solved the problem 😊
They turned out amazing well done. It looks beautiful. Take care and thank you for sharing 👍🙏❤️
Thank you so much for showing this technique! It worked beautifully.
Beautiful! Liquid starch works in the same manner as the glue water. I just love your dolls house!
Love your doll house.
A very cool technique to try with the glue !❤️🇨🇦❤️
Ohhh! So pretty! You have an amazing eye for repurposing things and setting up your rooms..I giggled with happiness when I got notified you posted..you truly are the most wonderful thing on RUclips. Just a suggestion..put something like a blue vase or something on the shelf with the cups..bring in the pop of colour like the footstool cushion to draw the eye up..delightful!!
I love what you have done here. I will share this with my daughter. She will love it too.
Oh ladies it looks so beautiful great job and a good ideal on the glue .
oooo ooo ooo! I know! I cannot wait! Also, Fuzz McGee will lay on any rectangle. He is Sunny’s brother from another mother, as we say here in the US. Love the needlepoint rug and the table cover. Sometimes I use rubber bands to hold the sides down while the dry.
Wonderful room, thanks so much!
Somehow I missed this one, Love all the Things in this room. Oh my Thanks much😁☀️🙋♀️
A very cozy room.
Amazing! I got similar results for miniature couch cushions with very fancy "suede" contact paper.
warmed up the room really well looks great
Enjoyed it. Great table cloths.
That carpet is perfect!
Another great film. Thank you!❤
So cute I like the new carpet…❤
Love how you did the tablecloth!
It is also my favourite room . The colour palette is lovely and sumptuous so I have moved in. . I am standing next to the fireplace looking at the dresser and considering the dusting ; just considering mind you.
Always, you doa great job!
Great use of a cuschion cover, it looks really good.
Oh lovely, a treat. Thank you ladies x😊
I love it!! Brilliant use of the cushion cover.
Beautifully done as always, this method I will certainly use in my dolls house. Thank you 💛🧡🤎
Very cozy..
What a brilliant idea!
It’s really pretty.
I am a relatively new subscriber and have just recently caught up on all of your videos. I love how you work together and the appearance of your gorgeous puss cat is divine...he really does love to join in doesn't he 😊. I am getting a lot of inspiration watching other people's dolls house creativity. That is a brilliant idea converting the cushion into a carpet and table cover. I'm on the hunt now. The PVA glue and water mix idea, for textiles is superb, definitely going to try that. I was thinking it could be a good idea for curtains too. Love the finished room. Good luck with more creations 🤗
