I was saved a year ago and I still struggle with dressing modestly, especially in the gym. Thank you for this video! It has blessed me and encouraged me to listen to my convictions and to go to God before deciding what I want to wear for myself. Ladies, ask the Lord what he'd like you to wear before you go anywhere. If you already found your outfit before that, ask God for permission if it's pleasing in his eyes. This isn't just clothing, but making plans as well. Take everything to the Lord in prayer. I fail in this too many times. "Offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to the Lord."

Respectfully, I don’t think she’s necessarily apologizing for the gospel. I believe she’s been careful and humble because she does have a past like most of us. Shoving the gospel down the throat of baby Christian’s or many who are still struggling with their walk will only make it more difficult for them to understand these sensitive topics.

I’m here to repent and apologize for thinking that it was controlling of your husband to say that if you kept those pictures up he wouldn’t see you. I think few months ago I didn’t get it and after this video God told me to remove one picture from my feed. Now he’s cleaning my closet and I know you’re saying the truth I just wasn’t ready to hear it. Now, I do not know how he’ll dress me but I’m willing to obey him! Thank you ♥️

I liked how you covered this topic. I wish people were more modest, especially at the beach. I’ve heard girls talk about how certain popular swimsuits are “difficult to swim in” because you’re at risk of exposure if you move too much, which begs the question: why wear it then? I also don’t like my 2 year old son seeing so much exposure at the beach because it just isn’t our place to see that much of someone’s body (some swimwear leaves next to nothing to the imagination 😳).

This is why I avoid the beach and go to the mountains instead. What’s the difference between a bathing suit and lingerie? Hardly a difference to me honestly. I wouldn’t want another married man to lust after me and sin against God. And I don’t want to put my own husband in those situations. If I was okay with it I might as well let my husband look at models in swimsuits online and I wouldn’t be okay with that 😅
@@SillyChickens222 amen preach it!!! Swimwear and lingerie cling to what they barely "cover" showing a woman's form which is sacred, the temple of the HOLY Spirit (which is to be consecrated and set apart) for the husbamd only (both Jesus and hubby).

I’ve been a lifelong Christian, but didn’t realize (until I read the Bible and really took it to heart) that I shouldn’t be dressing provocatively at all. So, 2 years ago I got rid of makeup, jewelry, inappropriate clothing, shoes, etc, and try to wear long skirts and head coverings. I don’t really like to do this, but I want to honor the Lord, and not myself. I also did some modeling in the past, and got fired when I wouldn’t wear lingerie on the runway. That’s ok. I’m glad I did that. :)
This was perfect 🥰 I felt like you cleared up several thoughts I had in my head and unblurred the lines I felt were pulling me away from the idea of modesty. It's really different for everyone because God created easch of us differently, our boundaries and convictions are different and therefore going to show up differently in the way we represent God through our exterior. I also felt like you had similar thoughts as me concerning this topic so it's nice to hear that I didn't have a completely crazy outlook on it. I really appreciate video, thank you so much.
Ive noticed im naturally shy i mean im not a saint but modesty is built into me as a person i actually like that quality and i will value it in a man also its very attractive the world is filthy these days

Things definitely get normalised. Stuff that nobody bats an eyelid about now would have been shocking 30 years ago.
I’m only saved within the last 2 years myself and I’m surprised at how low my self-respect really was back then considering how many people thought I was “repressed” already.
So good sister!! We cant be stumbling blocks to men, Kingdom Spouses and our brothers in Christ. I was led to learn about the marine kingdom and my sons and I were delivered from it. Its all about worldliness and coveting and run by Jezebel and Leviathan etc. It has many tentacles- media, hair fashion and makeup, technology etc I think Christian modeling for kingdom businesses is awesome but not so much worldly modeling and pageant - definitely all about self, exterior and doesn't glorify Father. 💖
@MarkedThat its everywhere in the bible because water is mentioned eg Leviathan. Seek the Lord in prayer and deep study. Father led me into deeper learning and understanding to set me free. Woooooo Girl, Sarah this video really helped me because I was struggling with what’s accepted by certain individuals, myself just trying to find out what’s really Godly and what’s modest. I realized I can’t straddle the fence I have to pick and do things with intent. Intent to please God. I believe when I try something on immediately the holt spirit asks why this and pints out what message it will put out. So now I really love what I wear and don’t want to attract negative attention. There are certain clothing that are gateways to those negative attention. Thank you Sarah you confirmed what I was struggling with for some time now. Thank you for your videos. Keep going !!!

i think that sometimes women wear sexy clothes because of low self esteem some think that if they wear sexy clothes they will get the attention of men, that is the problem that that kind of men just use women and after that they leave them, we as woman need to stop wanting attention of other people we should just care about doing God will, we should stop watching movies that include sex scenes, bad words etc because if we watch those things the enemie maje us think that those things are normal and the evil is never normal we should pay attention in everything what we use, what we watch, the friends we accept because if we try to obey God and after that we go out with friends that don't care about God they will tempt us to sin we are in the world but we are not of the world ! I am twenty eight years of age. I live in California. I recently met 30 yrs of age lady who is Christian as well as I am. She agreed to be my prayer partner. I met her thru IG too. God's timing is better than mine and I am confident she is my wife as God gives me the desire of marriage. I'ma priest and minister of music as well. BLESSINGS to young ur husband. I'll be blessed like y'all . Me and my prayer partner are taking time to grow as friends first and God will bless us with union I feel in my heart. Thank you n ur hubby for y'all encouragement

My husband is not a chistian and when I wear a modest dress he says he doesn´t like it, what I mean is that he wants me to dress sexy but I´m teaching him that modesty is the best way to honor God and him.

Christians are allowed to enhance their appearance. Makeup doesn’t make most people think about sex, so I think you associating makeup with sex is your own issue you have to deal with.

Her just existing with messy hair and no makeup with some baggy unflattering clothes wouldn’t hide her beauty. Plenty of men would still be lustful. But the point is whether or not she is operating based off of a seductive spirit. If she feels her facial features are enhanced and it makes her feel fresh and healthy and radiant to wear some makeup…well that is nothing related to a seductive spirit at all whatsoever.

@@starhunter9085 the way we dress should reflect what's in our heart. If we aim for spiritual modesty it should reflect the way we dress. One thing I like to ask myself Is whether the way im dressing: is glorifying self, or glorifying God when I'm wearing it. Am I trying to draw attention to myself/ body? Or am I not. Such questions we ask, can help reveal the hidden pride within our hearts, at least for me
