I get your point, but I don't think so we would see Nokia competing with the likes of Xiaomi or Honor. Even earlier Nokia used to command a certain premium in terms of pricing and they are doing the same here.

No headphone jack, last year's processor, no dual sim. The things i find useful are, it has is wireless charging & water resistance ip67, rest put behind we can get in nokia 8 @30k or even 27k.spending 50k on this doesn't give me a reason why to buy.... 🤔🤔🤔🤔

Rediculous pricing for All of Nokia phones, buy hey they atleast they provide software updates

buy a phone with good hardware and put in a custom ROM and you get update every 3-4 day
I am on lineage os and I recive an update every 2nd day
custom ROMs are not that much stable, am using those on my devices from last 4 years. it feels like some experiment. :(

Yeah, I agree that it looks premium, but 50k for a single sim and 5mp front camera? and also no expandable memory. I think 7 plus is far better than this one.

Rajan Arora 7 plus does not have OIS which 8 sirroco has. Other then that there are minor differences in camera which we won't even recognise.

I have read the POLED display is on the 8 sirocco might cause eye strain to ppl with sensitive eyes . Earlier I have experienced eye strain while using a Nokia 6.1 . I want the sirocco but this would be a deal breaker.

I'm hesitating between Sony Xperia XZ2 and Nokia 8 sirocco right now, what puts me off Sony are actually the cameras of which especially the front camera seems terrible, however I've never worked with Android One before and don't know whether you can put the apps in folders so that the start screen does not get cluttered? And how is the sound? I'm put off a bit about the Nokia phone because you said it was already getting warm just downloading some stuff and I've having the problem of overheating with my old phone a lot... Also it irritates me a bit that there's not headphone included, it's positive though that there's a case... I wonder whether there will be screen protection available for the double curved screen? Anyways thanks a lot for the infos you gave!
