Nobody want to grind and end up dying, in normal mmoit's easy to get to high levels because you have nothing to worry about but in this one is life or death and it all depends on your own reflex of real life because the game picks you in rela life as a model. The whe reason Kirito got a special skill was because had the best reaction speed of all the players because in real life he trained with swords.

With how Alclad(?) was designed, merchants and blacksmiths would very well be classes in SAO. After all, that game your class is decided by race and there were crafting exclusive reces. Which makes little sense considering the plot of a game when you boil it down, was a giant race war.

Jocat did a lot of videos based off teaching players how to play certain weapons or classes depending on the games that you talked about. Monster Hunter D&D And Final Fantasy All were really good and informative. And I honestly think she would get an absolute kick out of the Final Fantasy ones because they’re talking about stuff that she just mentioned.

Also I'm pretty sure WoW classic is seen as so much easier because stuff like WeakAuras didn't exist back when that content was new and the community had not yet gone completely insane with optimizing their raid strategies the way they do now, and nobody was willing to pull the stick out of their ass enough to stop doing it even for much easier content.
