To make $900 on a 9% move you need to use $1,000 as capital on a 10x leverage.
$1,000 x 10x = 10,000 x 9% = $900
or $500 on a 20x
And if you lose the trade how much do you lose?
@@AlterEgoTraderI think it depends on where you put your Stop Loss. Just don't do leverage or your losses could be enormous. Play it with pennies (or on paper) until you are 100% sure you can be profitable.

Assuming your stop loss gets triggered accurately, if you're using $1,000 its a $100 loss or $10 loss on $100 position.

This is a proper system. Can't thank you enough for your content and willingness to share such value. You didnt have to. Backtesting it in tradingview the entire day with replay mode and the winrate seems really high. Just have to stick to all the rules you listed out.

The Ribbon Looks good on the charts. Really gives clear signals . I like it because it gives you a visual that makes you want to wait .
Patience is a vital element and the Ribbon reduces the anxiety in finding a good entry and stop-loss. Simple and clean, Testing it on a Solana trade .. currently waiting for my signal . Lets see how it goes ..
I still struggle to find the connection between risk/reward and the multiples you quote. Seems they are a product of the X of the leverage. Are you assuming 100X? because 100 only becomes 600 on a 6% move if it's multiplied by 100x. thanks for clarity

I wonder if there is a video on how to set up leverage trades.
its about the risk to reward tool, the tool in trading view,
distance from entry to stop loss is the red coloured section usually.
in this case, she would lose $100 if her stop loss was hit.
and the take profit section, usually green on the risk to reward tool, in this case
was 6 times higher, and in the end 9 times higher, than the stop loss section,
so you get a 6 to 1, or a 9 to 1 if you hold for longer.
as she says, in okx, you can see how much $$ you would lose, you can play around,
adjust the position size (amount of btc or sol or eth to buy) and see what the loss would be in $$ and also the gain
you can literally have a loss of $2 or $3 if you like, when learning

As you are mentioning "risking $100" you would have had to put $10,000 into this particular trade with a -1% stop loss to make this kind of $, no?

Hi Annii, Love your content. Just one thing though, I'm confused. Please clarify. I'm not sure why every Trading RUclipsr I've watched all think that your profits are based on the RR value (ie 1:5 RR with $100 position equals $500 when hit). The RR value on the Tradingview Long Tool only shows you the RR value (difference between) your profit zone vs you loss zone not of your position size (ie. Profit Zone = 10% / Loss Zone = 2% / RR = 1:5). The RR between them would show as 1:5 on the Long Tool but the actual profit would be based on the Profit Zone percentage gain of 10% not the RR value of 1:5. Therefore on a $100 position your sale value would be $110 not $500. In order to turn a $100 position into $500 at sale the Long Tool would need to read as follows: (Profit Zone = 500% / Loss Zone = 2% / RR = 1:303). The Key variables are 1. Position Size (Not Margin) and 2. Percent Gain (Not RR). Please clarify/elaborate on why you say it's based on the RR value.
I said risk $100, not position size $100.
