Hello sir.. i am using Lenovo Ideapad S340 - AMD RYZEN 3 varient having 126GB SSD & 1TB HDD with 8GB RAM (4GB SOLDERED)
I would like to update my RAM for better performance. Lenovo support team is not recommending to go with 16GB DDR 4 RAM and against its max capacity of 12GB altogether.
Your suggestion on the video is 16GB DDR4 3200mhz for AMD RYZEN 3 but my laptop is having 8GB DDR4 2666mhz at present.
Shall I still go for 16GB DDR4 3200mhz ? Won't it affect laptop's existing performance and void warranty? Pls advise

​@@TechstoreCoIn Sir also have lenevo ideapad s340 14iwl but with intel core i58265U CPU 1.60ghz ,1800 mhz 4 core 8 logical processor.The total ram is 8 gb (4gb soldered) Can i upgrade 16 gb 2666mhz maxxing out to total of 20gb or opt to 8gb gb with total of only 12 gb which is not big upgrade to take advantage of? Please help!
